La Laguna Botanic Garden

Nice little botanical garden to check out in Cuscatlán. There are a number of sections to walk through and the highlights were definitely the big iguanas they have roaming around by the eating area. They are so cool to watch as they walk around the grounds, be sure to stay out of their way though. Also the fountain and the wishing pond they have are nice to see. It made for a nice place to sit and chill out for a bit.

We had to cut our time short. But what we saw was beautiful. We will return. Parking is easy. Very inexpensive.

I didn't think we could find a garden oasis in a big city but we did. It was one beautiful surprise after another. The turtles and fish were another surprise. The birds added another level to our enjoyment. The garden center has many varieties of plants and we found a favorite our our families we couldn't find elsewhere and bought it. Fresh coconut was the cherry on top of the cake. It was a nice retreat from the busy streets of the city. Grande chocolate banana was delicious. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating too.

This was surprisingly a large garden to walk in. It had I believe at least 28 zones of different plant species that were gorgeous to see. There's also small creatures that roam freely in there such as lizards, and birds. I love how they have a small play ground and picnic tables near the garden entry. There's a small entry fee of $2.50 for foreigners at the entrance and restrooms nearby. I highly recommend coming by to visit and enjoy what the garden offers!

Found this place by chance. I didn't expect much but wow this place is very cool! A lot more to see than expected. My favorite part was the giant bamboo.

Great location and great selection of ornamental and native plantings. Well, maintained landscaped garden.They even have a nursery. There is some plastic in and around small little creek areas, but very clean for the most part, friendly staff.. Muy Bueno!

So beautiful would recommend if you are here in the city it’s a great hour to spend in nature.

Small park or forest in city is available for people to relax and have beautiful time. It’s botánica with many flowers, birds and some animals. Well maintained and arranged. Very clean.
