"If you want to get to know Fes, you need to dig deep. There’s no better tour company for opening doors here than Plan-It Morocco, which offers an encyclopedic variety of tours—from apothecary workshops for kids to architectural photography tours, from secret gardens to candlelit hammams, from Koranic lectures to Sufi seminars, and more. If you have the budget, it has the inside scoop, as well as the little black book bulging with contacts, to make it happen. So, whether you yearn to eat your way through markets nibbling on local treats like grilled spleen (we promise: Spleen tastes better than it sounds) and deliciously Moorish almond-stuffed cornes de gazelle ; or to indulge in an afternoon sipping outrageously sweet mint tea while having your feet and hands tattooed with henna; or perhaps to roam the labyrinthine alleys of the medina by night, this company holds your instant pass toa Morocco less traveled."

We booked two tours with them and both were wonderful. We did the Hidden Médina tour and had a friendly & informative guide - we never would have been able to find all the places he took us to on our own. It was great to have someone explain the history of Fes and share details about everyday life. Our tour was a mix of historical sites and some shopping- there was not any pressure to buy things. We also stopped for tea at an amazing spot with a colorful owner. The second tour we did was to cook dinner with a family- this was also amazing. We planned the menu and went shopping at the market. Next we went back to their home and chopped up all the ingredients and made bread. We got to go to the community oven where they baked it for us. We made 2 types of salads and fish tagine. We also learned how to preserve lemons. After everything was done we all sat down and ate dinner together. It was a truly special experience being invited to their home to cook and eat dinner together.

We went many many years ago. Plan-It planned every moment of it. They came to mind because earlier today we unequivocally and enthusiastically recommended them to friends of ours. Terrific

I’m finally getting around to writing a proper review for the fantastic visit Plan-it Morocco arranged for me and my good friend Michael in October of 2021. Over 13 days, we went sort of counterclockwise from Casablanca, to the seaside town of El Jadida, to Marrakech, to the High Atlas Mountains, to Skoura, to the Sahara Desert, to Fes, and back to Casablanca for our flight home to the States. The trip’s overall success, including our accommodations, tours, and activities, was arranged by Bilal, our Plan-it Morocco Travel Planner. From our first contact over email to the collaborative planning discussions over WhatsApp, Bilal was extremely helpful in recommending options that made sense for the immersive travel experience we wanted. Bilal helped us decide which tours made sense for us and which tours didn’t, and he was also able to modify or create new tour experiences that better suited our interests. I am a very experienced international traveler, and I tend to make my itineraries based on my extensive research. I can honestly say that I would never have been able to create the itinerary that Bilal created for us on my own. I highly recommend Plan-it Morocco and especially the direct support of Bilal for those who are adventurous and desire a unique, private travel experience that is specifically tailored to their preferences. The other key factor in the success of our trip was Badr, the experienced driver that Plan-it Morocco arranged to help us for the duration of our 13-day excursion. Badr was professional, courteous, and became a truly great friend on our journey. Taking Nous Nous breaks together at the many cafes along the way was possibly the best part of our trip! Our car was spacious and air-conditioned, and Badr’s excellent driving and deep local knowledge ensured we were safe and comfortable. Badr accommodated unplanned stops along our route to check out areas of interest, and his knowledge of Moroccan history, culture, and cuisine made every day special. No matter what kind of trip you have planned for Morocco, I highly recommend you secure Badr through Plan-it Morocco for your driving needs. I give Badr my unqualified recommendation! Here I will list our lodging for this trip. Without exception, I thoroughly recommend each of these great accommodations. Bilal, from Plan-it Morocco, suggested these unique properties based on our collaborative discussions around the kind of experience we desired. I found the value of these accommodations to be excellent, and I look forward to an opportunity to stay again and each one of them. El Jadida - Hotel L’lglesia (Inside the Old Fort - Lovely roof deck with sea views) Marrakech - Riad Kniza (Beautiful - the owner has his own Art Museum next door) High Atlas Mountains - Kasbah Bab Ourika (Indescribable) Skoura - Les Jardins de Skoura (An Oasis - lovely hosts) Sahara Desert - Desert Luxury Camp (Magnificient - a great experience) Fez - Riad Fes (One of the most beautiful properties I’ve had the pleasure of staying) Casablanca - Hotel Le Doge (Perfect location) I have been lucky enough to spend time on every continent except Antarctica for both business and pleasure. My experience runs the spectrum from 5-Star Hotels to sleeping under the stars on mountain tops and everything in between. Our recent Moroccan adventure was an outstanding experience made possible by the excellent planning and support of Bilal from Plan-it Morroco and Badr, our good friend and driver. Morocco is a magical place full of wonderful people, amazing food, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The minute Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, get yourself to Morocco before the rest of the world beats you to it!

Extraordinary people works here! I took 2 of their experiences and where fabulous. The food trail in the Medina of Fez is fantastic. You walk with your guide and taste everything. From olives to soups and sandwiches. You also will get a Tangia at the end of the day. Cooking with a family is also incredible! I have to say that they showed me another Fez. Very open and excellent customer service!

I took the night food trail with my family. Our guide Meryem introduced us to traditional bakeries, a honey vendor, a cheese maker and lots of different snacks and food stalls. If you love food and you're curious, you should book this tour. Beside the delicious food she provided a lot of background information and answered all our questions about Moroccan living and culture.

I have doubts about the honesty of these reviews; as I now have great questions about anything printed about Morocco. Maybe it was my fault (which I highly doubt) about making my wishes about our 50th wedding anniversary trip. Our trip, with a driver, to Volubillis was exceptional- because we had a phenomenal, independent of your company, guide through the ruins. Our subsequent trip to Mekes was less inspiring because when we arrived our driver informed us that he could not guide us because he wasn’t an official “tour guide” - so, we just ate lunch! We had a great driver, Salh, to both Essouria and the high Atlas Mountains. He was particularly helpful leaving this area due to the fact that I got very sick and he knew every place to stop and help me - he is truly amazing! Perhaps a full menu of itinerary would be helpful.

Had a great food tour with Noureddine. Started at 10am from our Riad, and got right down to the business of trying all the treats of Fez - breads, sweets, olives, honey, soup, cheese, tea... We didn't have a full meal, but just bites of food all along the way. A bit pricy, but that price included all the food, the tour guide, a driver (to zip you from one part of the Medina to another and back to the Riad), a man for "logistics" (who felt more like executive protection, keeping an eye on the whole group.) I would recommend doing this on the first day in Fez, as you'll then be much more acquainted with the local food, demystifying the rest of your journey.
