One of the highlights of a three week trip to Botswana.|We slept out on the pans with the Baobab team. What an experience. A true bucket list item ticked off.|Dinner was super tasty, beds were very comfortable and warm.|Coffee beside the fire as the sun was rising the next morning was a true core memory. ||We were a family of four, with two kids aged 8 and 10. They loved every second.

Awesome baobab trees in every direction you are watching. Lodges were lovely round huts, nicely decorated at the outside, African interior. Good beds. Lovely breakfast, even more lovely lunch and diner. You need to tell your choice for diner in the morning, they have some a la cart choices. All very tasteful.|They organize an early morning drive to the meercats and salt pans. Breakfast is included. This drive is fabulous. The meercats can be aproached from nearby. You are watching how the first one is scanning the surrounding area, then the 2nd comes who does the same, then the 3rd one, 4th one...16th one. The whole family goes for breakfast!

We stayed at the campsite for one night. Good location, clean ablution. Dinner and breakfast was good. We wanted to do the meercat safari, but the tour takes 6hours and this was sadly too long for our itinerary

We were recommended Planet Baobab by friends and what a quirky little place. We camped here for 2 x nights and the facilities were beautifully maintained and very clean. We loved the Baobab's and how the bar had been built around the tree as was the reception desk. It truly was a great place to chill after a morning tour to the meerkats and Makgadikgadi Pans which is so worth doing. It at times could be a little disorganised but in fairness there is a large distance between the kitchen and the restaurant due to a recent fire. Fabulous and welcoming staff.

We are spending two nights here at Planet Baobab and absolutely love it. This place is stunning – the surroundings, with the massive Baobab trees, are truly unique. The bar, restaurant, and bungalows are beautifully integrated into nature, and at sunset, the entire place turns magical.||Today, we went on an excursion to the Nwetwe Salt Pans to see the meerkats. Our guide, Albert, was excellent – he shared so much knowledge about the local nature and Botswana in general. We learned a great deal during the trip. The breakfast we had near the meerkats was outstanding – we've never had such good food on an excursion before!

The highlight of our family's 5 week trip around Southern Africa, the overnight quad bike trip was truly special. We had a safari bus transfer through the bush to view and interact with a meerkat community, then switched to quad bikes and set off through the sunset to the middle of the pan. A firepit, braii supper, and some traditional music was laid on for us before we had the best sleeps of the entire trip, in bed rolls open to the sky. Whilst faces were chilly, the rest of us were super cosy. In the morning there was coffee waiting for us and a snack before we retraced our steps - this time enjoying sunrise. Back at Planet Baobab, there were hot showers and a good breakfast waiting.||The whole experience was very carefully thought through and we cannot fault any of it. Our children were 9 and 8: they rode behind us but we were confident bike users, and they were up for it. Those who might not be so keen, could use the safari bus which also accompanied the quad bikes to the sleepover camp.||Simply exceptional. Do not miss it.
