Love this honey farm! Their honey shop was so fun. You‘ll find a wide variety of bee products, including honey honey, honey wines, beeswax candles, various skincare and wellness products. Don’t miss the generous honey tasting bar! They also have an educational area for kids, displaying some key appliances and even a large honeycomb. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Vernon.

We visited the Planet Bee Honey Farm when we visited a friend for her graduation. We loved our time at the Farm. The bees were active and the flowers were beautiful and we got to experience it at its peak. The staff was very knowledgeable and had fun showing us where the queen bee was and explaining to us about the inner workings. I did the mead tasting and the women who led the tasting was also very knowledgeable and engaging. It tasted lovely and we left with a couple bottles. The honey tasting was also pretty cool and we brought a few jars home too. This was a really great experience and thing to do and we recommend it to all ages, families, girls trips and all!

If you have kids this is a cool place to visit. They have activities for the kids. Their garden is just little niches surrounding the parking lot. There are bee hives around so bee aware lol 😆 the gift shop is definitely the highlight. They have everything from honey, tea, kit hen items, gifts etc. There is also a free meal tasting and a tasting area for the various flavors of honey they make. There is an indoor hive as well that you can see the hive and the girls working hard. See if you can spot the queen!

We really loved this boutique honey farm. They have so many varieties of local honey and gifts to get as souvenirs! You get to taste honey!! It was a first time experience for us. Loved the entire vibe and atmosphere. A must visit for all those travelling as tourists to the area!!

Google
What a cool little space! Tons of honey related products for sale and a really fun little learning space for kids. I really liked seeing the indoor hives and trying to find the queen bee. I also really liked the sample honey bar where you could get a sense of what all the different types of honey tasted like. highly recommend if you have even just a little sweet tooth.

Sweet Little Stop with Lots to See! Planet Bee Honey Farm is a great place for a quick and fun stop! We enjoyed exploring their mini garden filled with bee trivia—perfect for kids and adults alike. They have a lovely selection of gifts, souvenirs, and even honey wine to sample and bring home. It’s a charming spot to learn a little, shop a little, and enjoy the buzz of the bees. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! 🐝🍯🌼

Google
Checked out Planet Bee Honey Farm. They have all things honey related. Mead bottles are $15.00 to $40.00. Loved that you can sample two dozen honey flavours; favourites were the chai, peach and iced glacé. The salad dressing/sauces/marinades were also tasty. - Mead tasting - complimentary tasting of four meads; Okanagan delight, melaina’s muse, ode to Odin and nectar of the sun. - Peach honey ($12.00 for 500g) - very peachy. One of our favourite honeys that we sampled

Yelp
We came across this place after leaving Kin Beach and decided to stop as I saw Honey and Mead tasting on a banner hanging outside. Good advertising! I am on a mead kick and always keen to try new versions of mead. This place is huge and has an educational program on bees and honey. A tour bus just unloaded tourists when we got here. There were different types of honey on a table for tasting. I didn't try that as I was more interested in the mead. They do tasting for 4 types of meads. I tried the original (okanagan delight) which was a bit dry but still ok to me. The apple indulgence had taste of spices in it. It was a semi sweet and you could actually heat it up gently and it would taste like apple pie according to the staff. I prefer sweeter alcohol so the raspberry romance (dessert wine sweet) was my favorite. It was not overly sweet like moscato though. Very nice. I bought it and would want to try it with dark chocolate as recommended on the information sheet. Besides mead and honey, there are plenty of things which will be good for gifts. Good place to stop by to try honey and mead. It is next to Davidson Orchards where you can do apple picking. So pick your apples and come here for mead and honey.

Yelp
This was a fun place to visit. All things honey, including a wide selection of meads. i was the only one in the store, but they provided a complementary tasting. I bought several in split, 375 ml, sizes. They also had a honey tasting bar, bee's wax products, and obligatory clothing. The staff was friendly, patient, and informative.

Yelp
Planet Bee is a must-see in Vernon. Everyone was very informative and helpful. It's a great souvenir stop for homemade honey with different flavours and honey wine, among other things. You can taste almost all of the honey flavours being sold and there are honey wine tastings for those over 19 years of age. I didn't intend to buy as much as I did, but it's hard not to when you can TASTE how good everything is. I left with two bottles of honey wine (Blueberry Blossom and Blushing Cherry) and three jars of honey (Okanagan Multi-floral, Blueberry Blossom, Planet Bee Creamed). I regret not buying more. This was a definite highlight of my trip, and my parents are excited to try the wine that I've brought home :) Go if you can!

Yelp
Honey tasting on tap!! Come here to taste and find a love for honey. This Australian influenced honey farm has honey from all over and the friendliest staff you've ever met. I got an entire tour of a real honey farm with a queen bee on show and the other bees in there working hard. The girl touring us was knowledgable about everything and anything bee related. Bought some honey here and love it. Really fun place to visit!

Yelp
Came here on a visit for my first time in Vernon, 2 of my friends who are locals but had never been came with me. On their website it didn't say there was a tour bus that day, but when we arrived there was. It was decently busy inside, seemed like we were the only ones that were not from the tour bus. Nobody tried talking to us (until the end). I am a big fan of mead and wanted to try some, but nobody was there to help us. I picked a bottle randomly and a jar of the honey with lavender essential oils (SO GOOD) and went to pay. I asked the girl if I could sample the kind I had picked out to make sure I liked it. She told me they couldn't, the tasting counter was closed. But said what to not have it with, and what it would taste best with and I paid. ** (I later found out she knew nothing about the mead and was given better recommendations on pairing) ** We went to look at the live bees which was very interesting! That is when we met Heather. HEATHER IS A GEM, amazing customer service! She stayed with us for 20mins giving incredibly interesting information and a little tour. She noticed the mead I purchased and asked if I had gotten to try it and I told her what happened. She then said she'd make sure I got to try some so I was confident taking it home. Way to go above and beyond, she made my day! We went over to the counter and I saw a group of people tasting different meads. I was pretty disappointed in my earlier interaction with the girl behind the counter. Heather also gave me WAY DIFFERENT pairing instructions than the earlier girl that made a lot more sense.

Yelp
We stopped by here on our way to Banff. The presentation was really great and informative, I learned a lot about bees and their natural products. They also have a bee case where you can see them making honeycombs! So cool! There are also a lot of samples of honey for you to try. The reason why I am giving a one star review is because they also offer complimentary honey wine tastings. When we arrived, they were serving others tastes of their wines. However, the moment I walked up to the counter, I was first ignored, and as I kept waiting, the server eventually talked to me and said he was unable to give me any tastings because I was part of a tour group. Now, I'm pretty sure he decided to not serve to me because I was in a tour group with all Chinese people assuming that we would not buy anything. I am a long time oenophile and was looking forward to trying their wine - it's only my second time in Canada. For him to say that was pretty confusing and disappointing. It should be more reason for them to serve since that's the reason why they offer the tastings - in order to receive more business, especially since everyone in my group was buying a ton of their other products. We had been driving a long time (all the way from Vancouver) - at least 5-6 hours to get there. Not happy with the way they do business.

Yelp
Bees are neat. This place is all about bees. They make mead here, which is honey wine and it's delicious. This little unassuming place gets 5 stars from me because I learned a lot of very interesting information about bees, honey and mead just by going here. Here are some things I learned about mead: - it's origins are older than wine - Meaderies (places that make mead) have been around in Europe for hundreds of years and it's still a very common drink - Mead is not necessarily sweet like honey but can be dry or acidic based on how it's made - There are only three or four places in Canada that make mead - If you like white wine, you will probably like mead, it's very similar in taste Here's some things I learned about honey: - depending on the percentage of plant (at least 80%) that the bees get their pollen from will determine the taste of the honey (!) i.e. blueberry honey, buckwheat honey, clover honey, wildflower honey etc. all refer to the primary plant the bees got their pollen from and all taste different - who knew right?! At this little Meadery you can sample a selection of different meads, taste a wide range of different honeys and choose from a variety of honey-made cosmetics and health related crockery. There is also an active indoor beehive under glass that you can have a look at while the staff gladly educates you on the bees inside. All very interesting for about 700 square feet of store space! Yelp
I visited here to get some bee pollen to top off my morning smoothie. They had a good selection of it. They also had lots of bee products: honey, propolis, candles, wax, etc. There was a tour going through when I was there, so it was a little busy, but the staff was very attentive and willing to help me. As others have said, this would be a good place to get some gifts for others.

Yelp
A good touristy place to go with out-of-town guests. Great mead, honey, bee pollen, propolis, waxes, candles and other bee and honey related things. You can watch the indoor bee hive in the spring, summer, fall. Very informative tours inside about bees and their importance to our agricultural industry.

Yelp
We've visited here almost every year since 2007 when we first heard about the place. Great variety of honey flavors and growing selection of related products (beeswax candles, health and beauty products, etc.). They started producing mead in 2010 and they now have a section where you can taste the various honey flavors and the honey wines. If you're a fan of locally-produced honey, definitely a must-see.

Yelp
I had to order some product from them for a local craft fair. I bought some yellow and white beeswax cells, a few natural bars in 125 and 1 lb. Great customer service, really fast shipping and the prices are very competitive.

Yelp
I go here every summer I am in town, and definitely take visitors. They have an educational bee tour for everyone to learn something, check ahead for tour times. Great health products here too! My favorite is Hive Healer, a combination of Honey, Pollen, Propolis (aka Myrrh) and Royal Jelly. Very smooth, I have had other attempts from other places and this is the best. What a pick me up when you need it. A wonderful place to stop and lovely products and original gift ideas.

Yelp
A great place to buy great products ! I bought a propolis spray and it was a very good deal. You can also taste lots of honeys and even honeymeads ! You can also see a bee hive. Clerks are nice and welcoming

Yelp
This was a fun stop on our way to Kamloops. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We learned a lot about bees, tasted multiple varieties of honey, tried bee pollen, and tasted honey wine. Penny was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. We highly recommend this stop.

Yelp
My mom and I visited and I was blown away by our experience. Getting to watch the bees in the hive was mesmerising; we watched the queen laying eggs and many baby bees being born. Not something I can say I've seen before! There were tons of local honey products for skincare, health and immunity. The staff Leon was tremendously welcoming and informative, answering my plethora of questions about bees and hives and also leading us through our mead and honey tastings. I picked up a slab of beeswax to make candles with and some already-made candles. Not to mention some sweet bottles of honey mead! A great time, sincerely happy we went.

Yelp
First few visits were pretty good.. new honey to try out and the shop lady was very friendly. Took a visiting relative in this summer and the fellow behind the counter was more interested in his computer than the two of us in the shop. Half the honey testers were empty. Seemed like we were more of a nuisance than customers.
