After a beautiful drive up Mt. Etna, we arrived at Planeta Sciaranuova. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. Miriam, our incredible guide, brought the land and its story to life throughout the tour, leading us through a delicious wine and aperitif pairing that showcased the best of the region. Even after seeing this estate featured in The White Lotus Sicily, being here in person was far more beautiful than I ever expected. The views, the wines, and the warm hospitality made this a true highlight of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sicily.

An unforgettable experience at the foot of Mount Etna! Elena gave us the warmest welcome and an incredible tour of the estate. The vineyard is beautifully nestled at the base of Mount Etna, a truly picturesque and peaceful setting. We took the White Lotus Tour and loved every moment. The wines were exquisite, and the meal was just as delicious. Planeta has several vineyards across Sicily, so even if you’re not in this region, you can still enjoy their wines in other locations. Highly recommended for wine lovers visiting the island!

The Planeta Winery is amazing! It was 4 of us and we enjoyed tour very much. So beautiful! Marianne was a great guide, picked up great wine and went above and beyond on this wine tour. We had fantastic time. Thank you Marianne!

We visited today the Planeta Sciaranuova location and our experience was amazing. We selected the wines from Etna, cheese and breads experience and man we were in for a treat! Elena and Miriam were there ready to greet and helps us to a fantastic tour of the winery. Miriam’s experience and attention to detail was outstanding. She answer our questions and explain the intricacies of how the wine is made and the importance of the soil composition and weather to the wine flavors. Then we proceeded to the wine tasting and pairing with the cheeses and breads that gave another level of understanding to the taste of the wines that Planeta makes at this location. Misses Chiara, Rachele, Loredana also helped the experience and Miss Tiziana deserves a special mention given to her amazing old style ragù. Finally Elena was an amazing host and she provided all the support and guidance we needed to select wines to ship to our home. I fully recommend anyone coming to Sicily to visit this location of Planeta Winery.

We had a tour, wine tasting, and lunch here. It was all wonderful. The tour was great!! The tour started in the old press mill. The hostess for our tour did a great job. It was full of information on the different Planeta wineries and their different special varietals and soil compositions. We then went outside and she spoke about their vineyard in more detail. The wine tasting was in another building with a great long table that was already set up for us. Everything ran smoothly and we got to try 4 different wines. The accompanying cheese and bread board was delicious. All came from the local area too. The lunch was absolutely delicious. We all enjoyed it very much. Everything on the plate was also locally sourced.

The wines themselves were outstanding—complex, balanced, and with distinct notes that showcased the local territory. The locally-made food pairings were the perfect addition to the tasting! The ingredients were fresh and locally sourced, adding to the authenticity of the experience. The food was delicious, with flavors that complemented the wines beautifully. Overall, Planeta exceeded all expectations! We highly recommend this tour for wine enthusiasts or anyone looking for a relaxing day immersed in beautiful scenery, great wine, and incredible food. It’s an unforgettable experience we’d repeat in a heartbeat!

We went for a tour of the vineyard and had such a wonderful experience! The site is absolutely beautiful with great views of Etna and the vines. The tasting experience with local cheese and bread pairing was superb, all high quality products from the region. We loved learning about the history of the site and see the care of the winery for their land through low intervention grape growing. Highly highly recommend! We're only sad we didn't stay for lunch :)

One of our favorite wine tastings of all times. We did the White Lotus tasting, and while the weather did not cooperate, so we needed to sit indoors, it was still totally delightful. The tour was informative, even though we have been on MANY vineyard tours. And the food was absolutely amazing! The black pig sausage was the star. Some very nice wines as well.
