Planica Nordic Centre

Great place. The complex is quite big, parking has enough space and is very convenient. There is great view for everything. You can watch trainings, not only official competitions.

This review is disc golf specific. €3.80 to park, €5 to play. The course itself is beautiful. The tee pads are gravel/grass, though. The par/distance on holes is incorrect. They’ve changed the layout and haven’t updated UDisc. If you’re gonna charge me to play, the tee signs and map should be accurate.

We had a walk from Podkoren (Pr' Gavedarjo B&B) to Planica and to Tamar. It is great walk and planica Nordic center us very interesting. You can also try sky driving on simulator. There a srcoss coutry ski tracks.

Very nice place to visit, you can oversleep because there is a camper stop with all the necessities: water, electricity, and the Tamar valley is very enjoyable for a calm hike.

Really interesting place, not often you get to see Ski Jump towers at close proximity.

I visited for the disc golf course. Even though it's only 9 holes, it's one of the best courses I've ever played because of the incredible surroundings. Jaw dropping. It was nice to have a cafe to drink a hot beverage and eat a pastry after I played the course (twice). Such a beautiful corner of the world! The Julian Alps really show off here.

Really good experience today. our first time Nordic Skiing classic style. Actually first time skiing for me. We booked an hour lesson and our instructor was superb, named Boštjn. He explained everything clearly. After the lesson we stayed for around 2 hours practicing in the beginners area. , We can't wait to go back for another lesson, but it will be two hours next time. I expect to have sore legs tomorrow :)

We had a GREAT time!! Great instruction from the staff and safety was foremost to the staff. Highly recommend buying the video package. I did it for the two kids and they love having that memory. This is a must do if you want a lasting memory of Slovenia. Doesn't hurt how beautiful the area is.
