Planktons Beach

Planktons Beach was an absolutely fantastic hotel! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding, and the staff were truly amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.The location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to everything. We especially loved the great coffee available, a perfect start to each day. The overall environment was incredibly friendly, and we met so many amazing people during our visit. Highly recommend!

The location is really good and the staffs are polite and friendly. However, this hotel is not at all value for money. This is a small building converted to hotel. The room is pretty small. No elevator in the building. I booked the rooftop deluxe room and they changed me 174$. With this price the hotel is not good at all. However if anyone get a offer for 50$, then considering other aspect the hotel can be considered. Also not that this hotel do not have elevator making it not fit for old people and wheelchair accessible.

We had a lucky and pleasant experience at this hotel. Due to weather, our boat arrived in Malé much earlier than expected, and we were grateful the kind staff-lady allowed us to check in early—especially since we were feeling unwell. The room was clean with amazing ocean-palms views that lifted our spirits. The location is central and close to the ocean, groceries and eateries which is a big plus. Also, the streets do get quiet later at night. A special thanks to Sohal, a kind and helpful staff member who arranged our airport taxi, updated us on the seaplane schedule, and greeted us warmly every time. Highly recommended for a comfortable overnight stay between flights.

The staff are friendly but not helpful. The rooms has only bath towels, nothing else. The windows of all ocean view rooms doesn’t close properly and the noise from the street is unbearable. All night long with noise from cars, bikes and people. Breakfast is beyond simple and the staff try to get you out of the hotel as soon as possible. They keep asking questions about when are you going? What time? They are extra charged us 40 dollars for 2 kids but the booking was made and in the booking we were 4 adults in 2 rooms and they made us pay extra for each kid when we arrived at the hotel. After 2 days asking for invoice we still don’t have it so we can’t complaint of the extra payment on booking because they don’t send it. Overall was a terrible experience, we couldn’t rest properly and it was a bad experience in general.

Highly Recommended this hotel If your planning to go Hulhumale with Family this place is perfect for you. Because on the Rooftop they have big Room which is very spacious with nice views. Rooms and Toilets are very clean and Comfortable and Hygiene. Additionally Hulhumale Beach Area this is the only guest house I know where they have Bigger family Rooms. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly.

One of the most affordable yet cozy places to stay in Maldives. The staff are really hospitable and nice, especially the front desk named Catherine. She is helpful in all of my needs during my stay. Kudos to the management and keep up the good work!

A good option for a short stay before/after a flight. A little expensive relative to the other hotels we stayed at whilst in the Maldives but it seemed like the most affordable, good option in the area. PROS - Friendly and helpful staff - Good location, a short taxi ride (85 MVR) from the airport and walkable distance from restaurants - Hot and powerful shower - Good WIFI - Very clean CONS - Room was quite small, not enough space to fully open a suitcase - We were surrounded by crows trying to take the food during breakfast which was quite unpleasant
