From the very first email exchange with Sean and Fiona, the customer service at Plantation Beach Villas was outstanding. They set such a warm and professional tone before we even arrived, and that level of care only grew throughout our stay.||Our villa was beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and perfectly situated with stunning views. But what really made the experience unforgettable were the people.||Our villa attendant, Tessa, was an absolute star. She was warm, friendly, and attentive to every detail. On top of that, she’s an amazing cook who made our stay feel both indulgent and homely at the same time. She is truly an asset to the team.||Every request we made was met with genuine kindness and swift action. When we mentioned we’d like some family games and cards, they were brought straight to the villa. When our children wanted to see a cocoa pod, a member of staff picked one fresh from the grounds for them to hold. When we thought about going turtle watching, a trusted contact was immediately provided. We also received thoughtful guidance on Tobago Heritage Festival events, and when we wanted to visit a waterfall, the team even phoned a tour guide on our behalf to get details. Even when the groundsmen came to trim the trees, we asked if they could pick some mangoes from the tree outside our villa—and later that day we returned to a small (delicious) heap waiting on the veranda. Truly, no request was ever too big!||And the location couldn’t be more perfect: just steps away from the beach that my children quickly referred to as “our beach.” Early morning strolls and swims were rejuvenating, and the sunsets in the evening were nothing short of magnificent.||What really stood out was the atmosphere—it felt like a true home away from home, but with all the touches of a luxury retreat. Whether we were lounging by the pool, dining on our veranda, or strolling along the shore, every moment was unforgettable.||And of course, I can’t forget to mention Sean’s rum punch—without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever had!||Plantation Beach Villas is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience that captures the beauty, peace, and hospitality of Tobago. Before we had even left, we were already planning our return trip.

The villas are spacious although dated. The surroundings are nature filled with great floral and fauna.

I rarely write reviews; however, my recent stay at PBV with my family was outstanding! From working with Fionna and Sean on the booking of the villa, to the actual stay, it exceeded our expectations. I have mobility challenges and being able to talk through accommodations with management was extremely helpful. They were patient, kind and understanding. The villa was very comfortable, and most time was spent on the spacious balcony listening to the crashing waves and enjoying the ocean breeze.||We also had very positive interactions with the staff, specifically Tessa and Nadine. Tessa, our villa attendant, took extremely good care of us. She is just a wonderful and caring person, and a great cook! We had her cook some of our meals, and looking back, I wish we had her cook all of our meals - Her food was absolutely delicious - true sweet hand! We highly recommend her!! Nadine was always happy to assist even helping us get to the airport after our stay. We have told everyone, family and friends, about our amazing experience at PBV, and we are looking forward to going back!! We can’t stop talking about it!

Our second visit back to PBV since 2020 and the pandemic. It was our longest stay, 3 weeks, and I could have stayed on longer. As always, the 6 villas and surrounding property were in first class condition. The property's location is on the side of a little hill, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, only steps away from the beautiful, quiet beach. We soon lapsed into holiday mode spending a lot of time on the breezy veranda, watching and listening to the birds, looking at the colourful tropical plants and trees. Running and walking on the beach, swimming in the sea, reading next to the pool are our favourite pastimes at PBV.||What makes PBV so dear to us, besides the fabulous accommodations and location, is the staff. In our family's 30 years of holidaying at the property, manager Sean Clarke and assistant, Fionna, have always been there and we have had only 2 villa attendants. Betty who made our holidays special until 2019, retired and since last year, Nadine has ensured our complete rest and relaxation while she takes care of everything else. In addition to making sure the villa was spotless every day, Nadine cooked for us. We never ate out once. Every day Nadine cooked one delicious meal after the other. If she didn't cook, she would prep the sides and marinade the fish or meat for us to bbq later. Nadine has what the locals call "a sweet hand", anything she cooks or seasons, is to die for. She has amazing taste instincts and can throw ingredients together and come up with absolute yummy. One day, I bought too many sweet potatoes and cassava; she quickly turned them into crunch on the outside, soft on the inside fries. They were dynamite at happy hour on our veranda. She makes the best callaloo, buljol, fried fish, bake, float, macaroni pie, stewed peas, stewed pork, pelau ... local dishes that I long for back in Canada. Nadine is innovative. She turned a breadfruit into breadfruit pie, a riff on macaroni pie! On the night before we left, Nadine gathered up all the odds and ends of vegetables in the fridge and made an unbelievably tasty vegetable stir fry that was also very eye pleasing. Which brings me to presentation of the food. All of Nadine's dishes were expertly set out, family style, for us. ||Nadine works hard to ensure her guests' comfort. She is full of bubbly energy and makes everything she does look effortless. She is a glass half full type of person and often flashes one of the most dazzling smiles I've ever seen.||Thank you everyone at PBV and especially Nadine for making our 2025 Tobago holiday extra, extra special.

My parents started coming to PBV over 25 years ago. For a few years, my family and I visited intermittently but in the last 12 my husband and I have made yearly visits. We usually visit with another couple who are as hooked on the place as we are. ||The villas fill our needs in every way. They are well laid out, contain everything, are very comfortable and very clean. The villa veranda is the most blissful place to be, oh wait,"our" sandy, 1K beach is another blissful place to be, oh wait, there's the pool and the Barefoot Bar. In the hot afternoons, the breezy bar (delicious rum punches) and cool pool is a very blissful place to be. Lots of local eateries, fruit stands, ice cream, within walking distance of the Villas.||PBV is staffed by employees who have been working there for a long time. They are all proudly Tobagonian, softly spoken, gentle, talented, hard working individuals. From Sean and Fionna in the office to Nadine, Lisa, Shirley in the villas, Anthony and Evander tending the grounds, they make our stay at PBV always a heavenly holiday.||This is my home away from home and I suspect not just mine. When we are there, there are 2 other families, long time "regulars" who have also been coming for years. It takes us 10 hours to get from Vancouver to Tobago but it's worth the journey. I've already reserved for next year.

My group stayed at the Villas to celebrate our 40th Nursing Anniversary. The villas provided the village- home feel that we were hoping to accomplish. We occupied 4 of the 6. The management was thoughtful enough to place us in adjacent villas, which was greatly appreciated. The villas are spacious, has a great living area with outside patio and a fully equipped kitchen. There is daily housekeeping service with some of the friendliest, warmest and most professional individuals. Kudos to all of them. It was a pleasure to walk across the street and go for a walk on the beach early in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Review for Plantation Beach Villas Kitchen I had the pleasure of staying at Plantation Beach Villas, and I must share my incredible experience with their kitchen. As someone who loves to cook, the kitchen here is nothing short of amazing. They offer a true taste of local home cuisine, something you rarely find when staying abroad. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. From morning breakfast to lunchtime feasts and delightful dinners, we cooked everything we desired. The best part? We didn’t have to worry about cleaning up! The staff took care of the kitchen after every meal, allowing us to enjoy our cooking without any hassle. This kitchen has it all – measuring cups, entire barbecue pits, an oven, dishwashers, and a full range of utensils. Unlike those cramped hotel kitchens that charge you a premium for minimal amenities, this kitchen offers a spacious and well-equipped environment. Imagine having the freedom to cook whenever and whatever you want, with everything you need right at your fingertips. One small note: be mindful of the induction stove, as it can be a bit tricky to tell when it’s on or off. But once you get the hang of it, the possibilities are endless. An added bonus is that if you don’t want to cook but buy your own groceries, the maid can cook for you. Just tell her what you want and how you like it, and she’ll prep and cook everything for a small additional fee. She’s also available to help with any meal prep you might need. The cleaning is included as part of her duties, but it’s only fair to compensate her for the extra time spent cooking. For anyone interested in a more in-depth look at this fantastic kitchen, including a video of us cooking breakfast and lunch, check out my YouTube channel, Mayham2003. You’ll see just how amazing and enjoyable this kitchen truly is.To the owner and staff at Plantation Beach Villas, thank you for making our stay so memorable. I can’t wait to visit again!
