Plantation Grove Restaurant Club and Bar

I had the most amazing time at Plantation Grove, Dublanc. It is such a welcoming place and the host was very welcoming to our party. On the menu for us was some tasty Pelau (a Dominican specialty) with homemade alcoholic lime cocktail, and Kubuli (Dominican beer). I will definitely visit again and I recommend you book your visit soon too.

We found out about Plantation Grove through the owner of our cottage. It was AMAZING! The owner Margarette was so fun and personable, the food was the best on Dominica, and the view of her garden and the ocean was lovely. You need to call at least 24 hours in advance and she can tailor the menu to your dietary needs (we had 1 no gluten and 1 no fish). As she makes everything to order, party size needs to be 4 or more. Our group of 4 had the place to ourselves and the whole experience was magical. We had cask rum and homemade gooseberry juice, for appetizers smoked salmon, cucumber, caviar, main shrimp in butter garlic sauce, lentils with roasted okra, potatoes in duck fat, and steamed veggies, for dessert rum soaked cake with pear and white chocolate ice cream. We had a great conversation with Margarette, and left with huge smiles on our faces. PLEASE go visit and you will have memories for a long time!

Stylish restaurant in a stunning tropical garden setting. It is obvious that great care is taken in the selection of the ingredients and the preparation of the dishes achieving a fusion of local flavour and creative pairings. We received five star service from both the server and owner. The ambiance of the place is truly amazing, a breath taking little oasis for a special occasions or an intimate meal. It seemed like booking in advance is normally required.

Great setting, stunning views, lovely host and very reasonably priced. Good deal and sweet location if you can make sure not to miss it when driving past..

We were a group of 8 including 3 vegans, 2 of whom don't eat wheat. The food was beautifully presented and accommodated us all plus service within good time of our booking. The view is breathtaking and we all enjoyed the lovely touches such as nice linen, jugs of water with lime and nice thick toilet paper. Highly recommended to visit when in Dominica.

The food at Plantation Grove was beautifully presented and delicious.One of our group had special dietary requirements and these were catered for without fuss. The host Margarette was friendly and attentive and this made our experience even more enjoyable. The view from the terrace is stunning and is the perfect setting from which to enjoy a meal with friends . . I highly recommend Plantation Grove and will be returning soon.

Really great location. A wonderful woman is leading it and is cooking the lovely, very tasty dishes. You enjoy your food while having an amazing view over the ocean. You can get a real good vegetarian lunch there, too. Great food for a really good price.

A very very lovely place. Service is top notch there. Experience different indeed. Very affordable prices. Excellent views of the bay below and the decor is exquisite. There is out door sitting and the owner does her utmost to ensure that you are well taken care of. I would recommend calling to make a reservation as the opening hours don't seem to be consistent, but you can't go wrong by visiting this place.
