Plantation Urban Resort & Spa in Phnom Penh is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their professionalism and warmth. The check-in process was smooth, and we were welcomed with refreshing drinks, a nice touch after a long day of travel. The hotel’s design blends modern comforts with classic Cambodian style. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, quality linens, and a balcony that overlooked the lush garden and pool. The tropical grounds are beautifully maintained, and the main pool area is stunning — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of Western and Asian options, fresh fruit, juices, and great coffee. We also had lunch at the restaurant, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and well-priced. The location is central, within walking distance of the Royal Palace, Riverside, and many restaurants and shops. Despite being in the middle of the city, the hotel feels quiet and secluded. What stood out most was the exceptional service from every staff member. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude made our stay feel special. We highly recommend Plantation for a relaxing and memorable stay in Phnom Penh.

We recently enjoyed a three-night stay at Plantation Urban Resort & Spa and had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was friendly and efficient, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. Each morning, we looked forward to the lovely breakfast options, complete with tasty barista-made coffee.||The hotel’s location is ideal – within easy walking distance of key attractions such as the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and National Museum. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and it was always easy to catch a tuk tuk for exploring further afield.||Overall, we loved the combination of convenience, comfort, and warm hospitality, making this a great base for discovering the city.

We stayed as a family of five (2 adults, 3 kids) for three nights and loved it. The hotel is a beautifully restored 1930s French embassy, blending modern comfort with Cambodian charm. Spacious, spotless rooms, excellent breakfast, great luxury service, and a top pool. Our kids loved feeding the fish in the pond at the entrance — the hotel even provides the food. The team also arranged a French-speaking city tour and an evening boat trip on the Mekong. A little pricier than Siem Reap, but it’s the capital — and the location is perfect. Highly recommended.

The hotel was lovely overall. Location perfect! The interior design was beautiful – both the building and the grounds, especially the pond with fish (though sadly, over four days, there was never any food left to feed them 😔). I really appreciated the water fountain for refilling bottles – a nice touch for reducing plastic waste. The staff were fantastic – kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The hotel also provides free umbrellas, which were definitely needed during rainy season! My room was nice, and the decor was fine, though nothing standout. The balconies were a bit disappointing – small, dingy, and facing other balconies, so not much of a view. The breakfast, however, was very good – tasty and satisfying. I didn’t eat at the hotel outside of breakfast, so can’t comment on the rest of the food. The pool was great and the cabanas were definitely a vibe – a huge plus. I just wish I’d had more time to enjoy them, but my stay was packed. Stafff were very honest and helpful. I accidentally left my camera behind, and they went out of their way to make sure it got back to me safely, even triple-checking the ID of the person I sent to collect it. I also lost my fan, and they picked it up and kept it safe for me. The only minor downside was the shower – it took a little while for the water to heat up, and also water took a while to drain so it collected at the bottom of the shower. All in all, a great stay with great service and a few standout features.

We were thrilled to arrive at this peaceful oasis right in the heart of Daun Penh. It’s incredible how the resort manages to create such a tranquil, bucolic atmosphere, making you forget you’re actually in bustling Phnom Penh. The lush trees and natural plants everywhere add to the calming vibe. The food was delicious, and my wife especially appreciated the wide range of authentic Khmer dishes on the menu — it made her feel truly welcomed and at home. The property is fresh, modern, and stylishly designed, combining comfort with natural beauty. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay — from the kind, courteous service and comfortable room to the gorgeous pool and satisfying breakfast. The staff were some of the most friendly and service-minded I have encountered in Southeast Asia. Their hospitality was exemplary and a real testament to the high standards of this upscale establishment. The pool area is spotless and beautifully integrated into a jungle-style lounge, making it a perfect retreat. If you’re seeking a quiet, comfortable, and luxurious stay, you’ve found the right place. This truly feels like a 5-star hotel experience, with clean rooms, delicious Asian and Western breakfast options, and genuinely warm staff. I wholeheartedly recommend Plantation Urban Resort & Spa!

The Plantation Hotel is one of the loviest hotels we have ever stayed in around the world, it was such a unique place. We stayed there twice in 3 weeks in the same room. Everything was absolutely perfect both times. All the staff from the Duty Manager to ground staff were so polite and extremely courteous and very helpful. The world needs more people like the Cambodians, such happy & caring people. When in Phnom Penh there will no hesitation in us staying in room 4104 again and again.|Thank Plantation Urban Resort Hotel staff for making our holiday truly rememberable.

Absolutely amazing! 5 stars ! Value for money. I booked online via Agoda and got a decent rate. Came with free breakfast. The staff were always smiling and jumped to attention whenever they saw a guest. Love the location too. Walkable to most places. Nice massages in the lane outside the hotel. I wish they gave in house guest a discount in their spa. Pool wasn’t as nice as the photos. Will stay again. Remember to bring small used notes to Cambodia. US 100 is not welcomed. I took a lot of videos but sadly can’t upload
