Plantation Urban Resort & Spa in Phnom Penh is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their professionalism and warmth. The check-in process was smooth, and we were welcomed with refreshing drinks, a nice touch after a long day of travel. The hotel’s design blends modern comforts with classic Cambodian style. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, quality linens, and a balcony that overlooked the lush garden and pool. The tropical grounds are beautifully maintained, and the main pool area is stunning — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of Western and Asian options, fresh fruit, juices, and great coffee. We also had lunch at the restaurant, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and well-priced. The location is central, within walking distance of the Royal Palace, Riverside, and many restaurants and shops. Despite being in the middle of the city, the hotel feels quiet and secluded. What stood out most was the exceptional service from every staff member. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude made our stay feel special. We highly recommend Plantation for a relaxing and memorable stay in Phnom Penh.

We stayed as a family of five (2 adults, 3 kids) for three nights and loved it. The hotel is a beautifully restored 1930s French embassy, blending modern comfort with Cambodian charm. Spacious, spotless rooms, excellent breakfast, great luxury service, and a top pool. Our kids loved feeding the fish in the pond at the entrance — the hotel even provides the food. The team also arranged a French-speaking city tour and an evening boat trip on the Mekong. A little pricier than Siem Reap, but it’s the capital — and the location is perfect. Highly recommended.

The hotel was lovelt overall. The interior design was beautiful – both the building and the grounds, especially the pond with fish (though sadly, over four days, there was never any food left to feed them 😔). I really appreciated the water fountain for refilling bottles – a nice touch for reducing plastic waste.||The staff were fantastic – kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The hotel also provides free umbrellas, which were definitely needed during rainy season!||My room was nice, and the decor was fine, though nothing standout. The balconies were a bit disappointing – small, dingy, and facing other balconies, so not much of a view. The breakfast, however, was very good – tasty and satisfying. I didn’t eat at the hotel outside of breakfast, so can’t comment on the rest of the food.||The pool was great and the cabanas were definitely a vibe – a huge plus. I just wish I’d had more time to enjoy them, but my stay was packed.||Due to some comments in other reviews, I made sure to keep all valuables in the safe at all times – just in case. Fortunately, I had no issues, and staff were very honest and helpful. I accidentally left my camera behind, and they went out of their way to make sure it got back to me safely, even triple-checking the ID of the person I sent to collect it. I also lost my fan, and they had already picked it up and kept it safe for me.||The only minor downside was the shower – it took a little while for the water to heat up, but that didn’t bother me too much.||All in all, a decent stay with great service and a few standout features, but also a few areas that could be improved.

Absolutely amazing! 5 stars ! Value for money. I booked online via Agoda and got a decent rate. Came with free breakfast. The staff were always smiling and jumped to attention whenever they saw a guest. Love the location too. Walkable to most places. Nice massages in the lane outside the hotel. I wish they gave in house guest a discount in their spa. Pool wasn’t as nice as the photos. Will stay again. Remember to bring small used notes to Cambodia. US 100 is not welcomed. I took a lot of videos but sadly can’t upload

A Magical Urban-Plantation Retreat in Phnom Penh From the moment we stepped into this lush, boutique resort and spa, it felt like slipping into a quiet, emerald paradise nestled in the heart of Phnom Penh. The blend of plantation-style charm and urban sophistication created a vibe that was both enchanting and energizing. Vibe & Ambiance The atmosphere was nothing short of magical—green, serene, and immediately calming. Everywhere you looked, foliage framed the paths, pool areas, and seating nooks, giving the sense that you were lounging in a verdant forest escape rather than the city. It’s rare to find a place in a bustling capital that offers both tranquility and style so effortlessly. Swimming Pool & Grounds The pool was a highlight. Surrounded by abundant greenery, it felt less like a hotel feature and more like a private oasis tucked in the wilderness. I spent hours lounging poolside, absorbing the fresh air and dappled sunlight, and dreaming I was miles away from the urban bustle. Dining & Buffet Breakfasts (and every meal, really) were a delight. The buffet was immaculately clean and beautifully presented, offering a range of fresh, tasty options—local favorites mingling elegantly with international dishes. It set the tone for each day perfectly, whether you were craving something hearty or light. Service & Cleanliness The staff’s attention to detail was impressively rapid and thoughtful. I called down for extra bed sheets and towels—and in just a few minutes, they were delivered perfectly folded. It’s those small touches that signal a resort genuinely values comfort and guest satisfaction. Final Thoughts This plantation-themed urban resort and spa isn’t just a place to rest—it’s an experience. It blends nature and luxury so seamlessly, it feels otherworldly. Each moment—from the whisper of leaves above the pool to the gleaming dining area and exceptional service—added up to a truly unforgettable stay. It was, simply put… so, so, so good.

I always stay wt this great hotel in PP with a good quality/price ratio. Located just behind the Royal Palace it's a great choice for exploring the city and the attractions in the outskirts. Room are big and clean, staff very friendly and breakfast has anything you can ask for.

Rooms were clean and very comfortable, bathrooms spotless and well maintained. Poolside area a calm oasis in a bustling city. The food was good, although the tea and coffee could be improved. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a few issues with ordering and some things being lost in translation, but it worked itself out eventually. This is a great spot, with the best tuk tuk driver outside.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I’m just as satisfied! The breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Ideally located just a few minutes’ walk from the Sisowath Quay. It would be great if the hotel offered discounts to try other services, such as the spa. I highly recommend it!
