Rob and Fiona were fantastic! They were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very nice and warm, the breakfast was delicious and thanks to them we ended going up Snowdon, which we thought we would not be able to do! Thank you very much both!! I am sad to be back!

We love this guest house and this was our third visit (for the Snowdonia marathon). We simply can't find fault with the facilities or the couple who run it. The breakfasts are amazing, the rooms lovely and clean. The beds are comfortable and everything you could need is catered for. Very highly recommended

This cute little guest house was a beautiful little stay with my family. We had the top floor family room with joining rooms. It had a lovely bath and shower all equipped with handmade soap and bubble bath. The rooms were clean and furnished really well. There was tea, coffee, lots of clean towels and really comfy, cozy beds. Well needed after a climb up snowdon which is a few minutes walk from the guest house. Fiona and Rob took time to welcome us each day by our names which really added a personal touch and Fiona’s lovely morning cooking treats were so tasty. Breakfast was also so tasty with so much choice. Everything about our stay was fabulous and Fiona took time to give us information about the local activities. I would definitely come back and would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Fiona and Rob.. Andrea, George, Maddox and Axl. |Beautiful views of the mountains from the top room too.

Fiona and Rob are fantastic hosts. Beautiful place to stay and delicious breakfast. Great amenities and everything you need there, plus some really nice extra touches like Welsh cakes and chocolates and handmade soap. A perfect location for walking up Snowdon, would highly recommend it.

Stayed at Plas Coch as part of a whole-house booking for an extended-family holiday. Rob and Fiona were so welcoming and accommodating, they put us in touch with a local company to provide amazing activities (Climb Snowdonia for kayaking, paddle-boarding and rock climbing), recommended excellent local businesses for dinner and provided perfect and environmentally-conscious packed lunches to keep us going. The breakfasts were superb and Rob even led us on a gentle hike around the local hills. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone!

Stayed 2 nights in a twin room during a hiking holiday in Snowdonia with my friend. This is a lovely place to stay, right from the genuinely warm welcome we received to the extra little touches such as complimentary home made Welsh cakes each day. The room was really comfortable and we loved that there were plenty of tea bags and coffee! There is a lovely outdoor space for guests although, due to the weather, we didn’t get to use it (the drying room, we certainly did🌧️!). Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Finally, the location is great - right on the main street and over the road from The Heights - a great pub with lovely food. Very deserving of a 5 star review.

Many thanks to Fiona & Rob for another very enjoyable stay at Plas Coch. Such a great base camp for exploring the mountains of Snowdonia and a memorable breakfast to start the day! Hope to be back soon.

I cannot rate Plas Coch Guest House highly enough. The accommodation is absolutely perfect and very comfortable. Fiona and Rob are the perfect hosts and made us feel extremely welcome and kept us very well fed. The breakfast was second to none and the homemade bakes were stupendous. The location couldn't be better in my opinion, I can't wait to return with the family.

Yelp
Plas Coch is as good an option as any other B&B in NorthWales. If you read my last review and I suggested you stay in a B&B and catch the early snowdon train. Well this guest house is 15 minute walk away from Llanberis station. Excellent!!!! Once a mid 19th century stone built mansion, today Plas Coch is a 4* guest house with 8 nice en-suite rooms. The location is great, with several places to eat nearby in Llanberis Village. The food options at the guest house aren't bad either. I would recommend their fish dishes which are always available, these include smoked haddock, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, and Manx kippers. For you vegans there is a good selection of vegetarian items. The food is sourced locally as you would expect with the bread from local Morris Bros Bakers, which was fantastic by the way. Now don't get put off by what I am about to say but I love this place for it is rather gothic ghostly feel. I mean, lets face it, you are in the middle of nowhere in this rustic really really old stone country house. Perfect for watching a few old horror movies mind you, oh yes. (Did I ever mention in passing I lvoe horror movies? No? Well now you know) Unfortunately I can categorically report there are no ghosts here and no paranormal activity was noticed.(Dissappointed sigh) Although I dare you to watch that film while staying here!!! Plas coch might have a rather unfortunate name but don't let that put you off, this is a great B&B for when you visit North Wales. "Plas" you won't be needing an alarm clock as no doubt the local"Coch" will wake you up at the break of dawn!!
