Fiona & Rob are excellent friendly and accommodating hosts offering great B&B facilities. Rooms offer en-suite with either shower or roll top bath and beds that are exceptionally comfy giving a great nights sleep. Dining room caters for all allergies etc and offers a huge tasty choice of breakfast. Breakfast cooked by Fiona & hosted by Rob. Attention to detail is of a very high standard! My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights at Plas Coch. Fiona and Rob were so friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was lovely (room 1) and spacious, very clean with comfortable beds. There was coffee & tea facilities and fresh water in room. We ordered welsh cooked breakfasts on both mornings which were simply delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Fiona and Rob have created a lovely guest house in the heart of Llanberis. From the minute we arrived, we were given a warm and friendly welcome for our 4 night stay. There are lovely touches from fresh milk available for room tea/coffee making to a daily selection of home-made cake, shortbread or Welsh cakes. We enjoyed strolling/sitting in the lovely garden that the couple have created over the years. Our room (number 1) was comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated as like the rest of the guest house throughout. But what also made our stay was the delicious home-cooked breakfasts with Fiona’s homemade granola, jams, marmalade etc. ||We wish we could give Plas Coch a rating higher than 5 more like a 10+ we felt we arrived as strangers but left as friends thanks to Fiona and Rob’s hospitality and knowledge sharing of the area..

Fiona & Rob are excellent hosts offering a truly wonderful B&B. Extremely comfy beds/pillows & quality breakfasts with a huge selection of food options to choose from - rooms with en-suite facilities are great also. Attention to detail in every room of the B&B (bedrooms/dining room) is exceptional! Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts to accommodate. Would not hesitate in recommending this place or staying here again - thank you for a truly amazing stay!

There were 3 couples staying in total, in Rooms 4, 5 & 6. All the rooms were beautifully presented and very comfortable. Fiona and Rob were exceptional hosts, being attentive when you wanted and leaving alone when not. Rob's advice on climbing Yr Wyddfa made the experience much more enjoyable than it would have been. The breakfast was perfect. Could not fault this Guest House, and very happy to recommend it. It is ideally located for climbing Snowdon. Thanks Fiona and Rob.

Plas Coch is a fabulous, proper B&B – warm, welcoming, and extremely comfortable. It’s perfectly located for anyone looking to scale Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa, just a short walk to the Llanberis Path or a quick bus ride to the Miners’ or Pyg Tracks for a more challenging ascent.||||The hosts, Fiona and Rob, are outstanding – friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to offer advice on routes up the mountain and other local things to do/ places to eat. They clearly love what they do and it shows in every detail.||||The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice, and I highly recommend ordering the packed lunch for a day out hiking – amazing value at just £12 for a sandwich, homemade flapjack, fruit, water, a drink carton, and even a flask of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.||||Rooms are peaceful, clean, and very comfortable. We stayed in the Moel Eilio Suite, which was ideal for a family: a double bed, a small sitting area, a separate room with two singles, and an ensuite with bath/ shower. Great value and very well thought out.||||Highly recommended. I’d gladly return, if I can ever persuade my wife to tackle Snowdon again!

This is a real gem. Lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast and so much great attention to detail in everything. We were greeted with freshly made cake when we arrived. Really close to good restaurants for dinner and the owners were so welcoming and helpful. It made our weekend break to climb Snowdon even more fantastic. Highly recommended.

When I was searching for accommodation in Llanberis, I considered various options from hotels to AirBnbs but I am so glad I spent 4 nights at Plas Coch instead.||Upon my arrival, I was warmly met by Fiona who showed me all the facilities before leaving me to settle into my room. The house is immaculately clean and furnishings are of a high quality. My room (no.8) was perfect for a solo traveller with en suite shower, wc and a roll top bath. The bathroom had a small bar of locally produced hand soap, a welcomed little touch of luxury as well as promoting a small local business. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided and everything were of a high quality. In the evening, I met Rob in the garden and he is very friendly and he suggested hiking routes for my stay.||I should mention that Plas Coch actively promotes sustainability and good environmental practice, issues that are important to me. Little things that can make a huge difference such as providing fresh milk for your tea/coffee instead of UHT packets to avoid single use plastics. A green food waste recycling bag is provided in your room so you can bring back any uneaten packed lunch for recycling. Fresh water is provided for refilling your water bottles to avoid buying plastic bottled water. A EV charger is available in the car park. All these little things means so much to me.||The food at Plas Coch was absolutely wonderful. It was such a treat to have a fantastic breakfast prepared and made to order every morning. There is a wide variety from cereals to continental as well as cooked options. Fiona is a fantastic cook and everything I ate were delicious! As everything is freshly cooked, I recommend ordering your breakfast the night before.||For hikers, climbers & cyclists, there is a drying room on the ground floor where you can leave your muddy boots and wet gear. There is also a map room where you can plan your next adventure. The wi-fi throughout the house is excellent and you can stream movies in the evening or catch up on work if you must.||I thoroughly recommend Plas Coch for any stay in Llanberis. The house is immaculate and conveniently located, Rob and Fiona took good care of me and everything was above expectations. I cannot wait to return to Plas Coch for my next adventure.

Plas Coch is as good an option as any other B&B in NorthWales. If you read my last review and I suggested you stay in a B&B and catch the early snowdon train. Well this guest house is 15 minute walk away from Llanberis station. Excellent!!!! Once a mid 19th century stone built mansion, today Plas Coch is a 4* guest house with 8 nice en-suite rooms. The location is great, with several places to eat nearby in Llanberis Village. The food options at the guest house aren't bad either. I would recommend their fish dishes which are always available, these include smoked haddock, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, and Manx kippers. For you vegans there is a good selection of vegetarian items. The food is sourced locally as you would expect with the bread from local Morris Bros Bakers, which was fantastic by the way. Now don't get put off by what I am about to say but I love this place for it is rather gothic ghostly feel. I mean, lets face it, you are in the middle of nowhere in this rustic really really old stone country house. Perfect for watching a few old horror movies mind you, oh yes. (Did I ever mention in passing I lvoe horror movies? No? Well now you know) Unfortunately I can categorically report there are no ghosts here and no paranormal activity was noticed.(Dissappointed sigh) Although I dare you to watch that film while staying here!!! Plas coch might have a rather unfortunate name but don't let that put you off, this is a great B&B for when you visit North Wales. "Plas" you won't be needing an alarm clock as no doubt the local"Coch" will wake you up at the break of dawn!!
