Came for the waterfall, ended up having one of the most exceptional restaurant experiences during my Greece travels. 10/10 would recommend, their service truly goes above and beyond - water, bread AND desert all as complimentary niceties completely free of charge. Ohh and their food is delicious as well. But that shouldn’t be surprising. This is THE SPOT to get proper Greek cuisine 100% (throughly loved by the locals as well and that’s always the best sign)

Very popular tavern, serving always excellent food made from local products. All foods are prepared when ordered and are served hot. All staff is very friendly, they are busy but service is always very good.

Absolute must when you visit Kythira! Most delicious pork hock and veal liver we have ever tried! The meat here is tender, juicy and very well prepared with perfect of herbs! For vegetarians highly recommend trahana with aubergine and tomato sauce.

Charming and delicious! The decor inside and out is worth a visit alone! But stop to eat you won't regret it!

Nice traditional taverna in the beautiful square of Mylopotamos, under the big platanos tree — the atmosphere is really lovely, although a bit too crowded when we visited. The staff were very kind and the service was impressively fast. We tried three salads: the Caesar was the best, the Greek salad was average, and the burrata salad was too sweet and not very enjoyable. For mains, the pork plate was good, but the rooster with chilopites was not tasty at all. Overall, it’s a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the setting, but I can’t say I was enthusiastic about the food.

A stunning spot surrounded by massive plane trees offering both natural and artificial shade, creating a serene, calming atmosphere. Service was outstanding—staff were genuinely friendly, smiling, and full of positive energy. We enjoyed juicy beef patties, crispy zucchini, tender green beans, spicy cheese dip, succulent slow-cooked goat in red sauce, and a heavenly homemade galaktoboureko. Every dish was bursting with flavor. A must-visit in every sense!

What a gem! The food was outstanding, the service warm and welcoming, but the real magic is the setting — dining under those huge trees feels like a dream. We honestly didn’t want to leave! A place that makes you slow down, enjoy, and remember why eating out can be such a joy.
