Platinum Bench Estate Winery & Artisan Bread Co.

We had a wonderful experience at Platinum Bench! Kayla was fantastic- so knowledgeable and made us feel completely relaxed throughout the tasting. The views were stunning, and the whole atmosphere was cozy and lovely. We especially enjoyed hearing the story of their Portuguese Water Dog and his role in naming the Wal-Deaux wine…. so sweet. We purchased a bottle in his memory. Excellent service, breathtaking scenery, and the tastiest bread paired perfectly with their wines. Would highly recommend!

It was our last day before heading back to the big city. We had never been to this winery before but had heard lots of good things about them including their artisanal breads. It was a pretty hot day. They had tables outside and a square 4-sided bar setup to accommodate a fair number of visitors. They also had about 4 areas on their deck where you could have wine tastings. Because I was driving on the first part back my wife just did the tasting. The nice thing about their tastings is they pair each wine with a different artisanal bread. So you had a nice wine paired with delicious home made bread. You have a nice view from the deck from Black Sage Rd looking across the highway. We bought a 2022 Cab Sav and a 2021 Mur-Fi’s Red named after the owners Murray and Fiona. We actually met Murray a nice, friendly older gentlemen as he was having something before going out to work in the vineyard. We enjoyed our visit here and we will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

We were blown away by this winery! Every single wine we tasted had depth, flavour and body. Coming from the wine industry in Niagara, we were looking for this kind of Okanagan experience and Platinum Bench went above and beyond on every level. The enthusiasm for this winery came through in our consultant Susan’s knowledge of each wine and the pairing with artisanal breads just took everything to a whole other level. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner, Murray, whose passion for the vine was evident. Than you Platinum Bench…we will be spreading the word of your amazing winery to those looking for the perfect Okanagan experience.

Nice little tasting room. The ladies there are very friendly and take the time to explain the wines and some history of the winery. They have excellent bread and the pairing is a really fun experience. We ended up buying a bottle and a small loaf of bread and enjoying it on their patio. They recorked our bottle since we obviously didn't finish it while we were sitting there. I recommend coming here.

Get there early before the bread sells out. We had an excellent wine tasting with accompanying selected bread making for a delightful experience. The owners are wonderful people. I highly recommend stopping in.

Got here around 10:30 on a Sunday (they open at 10 am) and it was a 5 minute wait for the bread. Too early for wine tasting but the bread was great. Was expecting a bit more sour on the sourdough but definitely was not disappointed. Pleasant and pretty atmosphere. Good Covid protocols.

Lovely setting on the deck overlooking vineyards with great wines and excellent breads! Katie provided wonderful service and shared info about the wines, the breads, the winery, the region, and her own family's connection to the area/wine. Highly recommend!
