Raminess

When this place is good, it's VERY good. But as an older building, maintenance has to be on point to prevent decay to the level I've seen. We stayed on the 21st floor and the hallways straight up had entire windows missing. You get an amazing view of the beach, sure, but I imagine the floors must be incredibly slippery when it rains. The unit I stayed in was immaculate: modern, clean, spacious, and the balcony views were unbeatable. The sunrise on a beach visible every morning and sunset over the mountains every evening. The breeze from this height almost makes air conditioning unnecessary. The grounds leave a bit to be desired though; although the pool and courts are a bit dated they are still nicely maintained. The playground, however, is another story. The swing set broke with my 3 year old seated in i (he was safe, thank goodness) as the chain was rusted clean through. You expect a certain level of rust in a beach town but it had to be significantly neglected to get to this point. No idea when it was last maintained or even looked at but it could have been worse. All in all, I would stay here again, I would just avoid the swing set, unfortunately.
