Playa Azul III

The building is not in a good condition at all (hallway windows missing, only one elevator for loads working, holes in the lobby ceiling with water dripping), the pool is dirty (not cleaned properly), the emergency exit is locked downstairs (really dangerous), and the staff harasses Airbnb guests in an unfriendly way for no reason (regarding the special Airbnb parking) like unwanted guests. You cannot use the beach access from the property after 7 pm and the skyscrapers are really ugly. Please be aware of those points before staying here. The sea view was quite limited in our case. We had an apartment which was nice, this review only refers to the building and its public areas.

Unfortunately my review changed, if you are renting VRBO or Airbnb choose somewhere else, i originally stayed in Feb it was great, came back in March. They now have a designated lot further from rhe building for your use, even with handicap, they have 5 spots for 20+ floors. There are some rude owners who do not like have the vacationing guests. The 4th floor has a significant roach issue. The keys to everywhere are inconvenient and difficult, beach and pool access close at 7pm which is very early. Other areas in Luquillo are more welcoming

Love staying here. 😍 Newly renovated apartment (1703) with all the conveniences of home including washer and dryer. Easy access to the beach and clean spacious pool for adults and wading pool for small children. Plenty of parking with 24/7 security at main gate and at building tower. Security and maintenance staff are courteous and helpful. Tower III (exterior of building) is in need of some TLC but public areas including lobby and hallways are kept clean at all times. It's one of my favorite places to stay when visiting PR.❤️

We stayed here for 5 days. We loved the amenities of the apartment and complex and how close the beach was for us. The apartment had a washer and dryer which was super useful. My kids loved the playground, handball courts and the pool. The complex was very secure with every part of the complex locked for guests of home owners only. There was ample parking and the parent even came with basketballs and games for our kids to enjoy. The one thing is after the hurricanes the outside of the buildings are currently being repaired which is a work in progress with the stucco and windows being repaired.

Chill atmosphere. Dog friendly. Clean beach. Beautiful waters.
