"Easily El Salvador’s most popular beach, the “Sun Coast” is equally popular among locals and visitors, particularly during the vacation time of Holy Week, or Semana Santa. The 15-kilometer long beach has many services, including restaurants and water and sand sports. While it does not have an off-the-beaten path feel, it is easily accessible."
We were so impressed by this beach. It had some of widest stretch of sand of any beach I’ve seen anywhere in the world. The sunset was utterly incredible. The water was among some of the calmest and warmest I have been in. The beach is brown sand so do not expect a white sand beach and do not expect turquoise coloured waters, but it is still incredibly beautiful and we highly recommend it.

Best beach we visited in El Salvador! Got to visit the apartment complex of a friend (Portofino), and the beach in that area was just stunning. Water was comfortably shallow and was an incredible temperature. Cannot recommend enough!

My favourite beach from my visit in El Salvador. Long stretch of sand (not black), warm water, very peaceful, perfect for swimming and relaxing!
