Playa de Calahonda

Beautiful sunsets!! The beach is not very busy (july), the views are stunning.

The boardwalk from near Cabopino towards La Cala de Mijas is extensive, flat, wide and well maintained. Ample chiringuitos along the way.

Clean, sand beach. Tractor finishes leveling the sand at 09:30. Bar opens at 10:00, good coffee.

A small calm water pebble beach nestled by a beautiful cliff view. Make reservations for local restaurants before visiting.

beautiful for walking and sunbathing! Lots of showers and open toilets. But the entrance to the water will most often be bad, large stones, sea urchins - it really hurts your legs.

We love this small beach with his nice bars and restaurants.

The view is nice, the water is clear. There is some not so fine sand that turns into mid sized stones as you get into the water. We spend a lot of time in the water anyways. I would suggest bringing water shoes tho.

Small. Not very crowded but a lot of rocks (instead of “regular” white sand… do not recommend.
