At low tide this is a large sandy beach that is great for a swim. At high tide the beach disappears and you can get some good sized waves to surf. There is a lot of parking at the top but it fills up and finding parking will be your biggest challenge of the day. Its worth it though. There is a chiringuito down near the beach, a freshwater shower and toilets and a really nice restaurant at the top of the hill.
There are lifeguards who will try to keep everyone between their flags. Be careful at the ends of the bay as there are submerged rocks that you could easily ride a wave onto without realising. When the tide comes in there is a strong current across the beach but not out to sea.
