Platja del Postiguet

Excellent beach on looking the castle Santa Barbara. Very long beach with an easy access from city centre. Nice place to relax after a long walk exploring the city. The rock path to walk amid the sea was soothing. The 3D flooring was an instant hit with my kids. Lots of play area for kids and volleyball courts are available too. Must visit beach.

I have only been here in the winter, so my opinion is not relevant for any other time. It's a good hangout spot during winter months and if you're really brave, you could potentially swim. The place is lively and you can get some Vitamin D.

The sand is really soft and clean. The water is quite good too. There are lots of people in the evening/early night jogging, playing volley and other sports. There isn’t a lot of shade but you can always find a palm tree to hide under. ☀️

It's a beautiful beach with white sand and very clean with direct access to the old town of. Alicante. They have shaded areas to sit and benches all along the promenade. It runs alongside the beautiful esplanade and access to all the restaurants. I should imagine it gets very busy in summer and the locals seem to recommend the playa San Juan . On the tram to Benidorm we saw a number of beautiful beaches with direct access from the tram stations and by car

Great beach, a bit full, it was close to the beach witch makes it very accessible. Sometimes you hear trucks but overall not to much Noiceee!☀️

For a city beach, it’s nice. However there’s a lot of seaweed on the beach and walking along the beach near the water has a bad smell. It also gets very crowded when it’s sunny, but every beach is like this. It’s lovely for a walk or if you’re in the Alicante centre. The promenade is also lovely for a walk ;)

Lovely beach calm water nice soft sand plenty of sunbeds lovely beach side cafe nice staff. Lovely spot to see the sunrise . One negative are the toilets they are filthy shouldn’t be opened look forward to return

I visited the beach on 12 February 2026 and it was a very beautiful beach.
