Lots of places to sit close to the water under mangrove trees and you'll even see some cotton bushes. Worth paying the low fee to enter and park as it's a natural setting with no houses or anything but the ocean, beach and the low slung shady trees. Go to the end of the parking lot for the full crescent view of sand and low trees. Bring your water shoes if you don't like stepping on stumps and hard pack roots but it won't hurt you either with bar feet.
Pack in hearty snacks, fruit, a picnic, lots of water/drinks, sunscreen etc as there is nothing to buy there. It closes at 5 pm but they start to urge you to leave by 4:30 pm
