The absolute BEST Margaritas in Puerto Viejo! They use fresh limon mandarina juice! No artificial ingredients! Victor is fantastic bartender. Food is good & vegetarian options available when requested. Located just before town, you can enjoy your cocktails on the beach! How does it get better than this?

Avoid this place Unfortunately, this establishment falls short in several areas. The washrooms were poorly maintained, with no tissue available and noticeable leaks throughout... filthy!!. During “happy hour,” prices seemed inflated rather than discounted, which was disappointing. The overall environment felt uninviting and chaotic. Improvements are needed to bring this location up to standard. Craft poo-ery! Disgusting hammered customers all over the restaurant. Grosss very gross. If u want booze, go to the grocery store and get a bottle.

We ordered 3 fresh pineapple juices and a coffee. Delicious, but the bill was a bit steep. Then… Four days later the owner saw me walking by, chased me down and said the new waitress had overcharged me and he was very upset about it. He wanted to give me the correct amount back - and he did. What a lovely man.

Stopped into the “brewery” for some beer… they were out of half the beers on the menu and the few they had left were awful. We ordered two beers and couldn’t even consider drinking them after the first sip, I’ll usually drink it even if it’s mediocre. Don’t waste your time unless you plan on drinking Imperial or Corona.

Great friendly service . Food made to order. Beer was great. Had the music we liked played for us.

I only stayed in the hotel, I didn’t go to the brewery. My room was decent, the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. The toilets were fine but the showers were pretty dirty. The common kitchen was very dirty. It had a nice coming area upstairs and friendly staff. About a 5 minute walk from the main area of Puerto Viejo and there’s a supermarket nearby. Not awesome but not terrible

Cool looking place across from the beach - unfortunately not worth your time. Waited over an hour for a chimichanga and fish tacos (which were actually really expensive). Literally the worst tacos I have ever had in my life. Definitely would find somewhere else.

We spent two days with a group of people at Kayas Place.|It is around 400 meters away from the active area of Puerto Viejo.|I really enjoyed this because of walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants but also enjoyed having a quiet surrounding. The beach is right in front of the house - you only have to cross the street. |The rooms were big, clean an equipped with a kitchen. Toaster was not working and the plates, forks and knifes is nothing to recommend.||We had dinner at the restaurant. Food was fine but there was not big choice of beverages. ||WiFi did not work in the room but in the area of the reception. ||I can definitely imagine coming back again.
