This is a beautiful property, a turquoise gem surrounded by a sculptured garden. There iss lots of wildlife right on the property; Toucans and many hummingbirds, butterflies, sloths, iguanas, frogs and even an armadillo.||Pierre and Marise are gracious and attentive hosts. Marise was very prompt in answering my booking questions and helping with the arrangements. ||I spent 10 days here in three different rooms. All were wonderful but I think #1 was my favorite. But, when I return I will try very hard to get the yellow bungalow. There are 3 and they seem nice but the yellow one was my favorite.||It is only steps from Playa Negra, a truly beautiful beach. There are 6 restaurants within 500 meters, 4 of them beachfront. Try Bridgette's for breakfast. Cahuita is only half a mile walk and the Park entrance is .8 of a mile. There is no place that is not walkable. Very safe and welcoming

Immaculate grounds, plenty of wildlife right in the yard, attentive service, comfortable room, pristine pool, and a wonderful host, Marise. We stayed in June - two fans were more than enough to keep the room cool, so the absence of air conditioning was not an issue for us. Fridge was perfect size, everything about the room was well-thought out - simple, but it had everything we needed, nothing we didn't. The location away from the center of the village is plus, it's a short walk - you can be anywhere in under 15 minutes at a vacation pace.

I would give this property 7 stars if that were possible. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained & full of wildlife. The rooms are clean & comfortable. There is a very relaxed atmosphere so you can slip straight into holiday mode & just enjoy the beauty.|When my transfer to Tortugero was cancelled the night before I was due to leave Marise very efficiently resolved the situation & organised a local transfer.Marise also recommended a local taxi driver & I was able to message him anytime I needed a ride.

The location/property amazing, the staff, super helpful, is a little oasis where me and my daughters enjoyed pretty much. my only recommendation would be to add a small microwave to warm up food. But, definitely is a 5 star place to spend time in Cahuita.

I booked this hotel last minute and was thrilled at the location, scenery and staff. The grounds are lovely with several wild creatures and exotic trees, plants and flowers. My room (cabin) was open, on the ground floor and in the best location. It rained the entire time I was in Cahuita but it’s not difficult to walk to most places. Marise, the owner was helpful in providing information for food, transportation and weather. I also enjoyed talking to her about how she and Pierre came about moving to Costa Rica and purchasing the hotel. They’ve done a beautiful job of maintaining the place and the cost for my cabin was such a reasonable price.

This garden oasis is a beautiful place to spend some time in Limon. The many animals we saw made the experience fantastic. The sweet couple that owns the property are friendly, knowledgeable, accessible, and accommodating. It is literally steps from the beach and at one point there were 5 sloths plus a baby in the trees in front of the property by the beach. The owner is passionate about maintaining an environment that encourages the animals to be there and he is a master at finding them and will love to point them out to you.

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of beautiful gardens. The room was comfortable annd clean and the host was very helpful. It’s right on the beach. The only complaint we had is that there was no air conditioning. I didn’t look for that when I made the reservation so it was my fault. I slept comfortably with the fans on though.
