Playa Palms Beach Hotel

Our stay was absolutely exceptional! The service exceeded all our expectations, making us feel right at home. A special thank you to Karen, Carlos, and Alfredo for their kindness and attentiveness—they truly made us feel like family, and we will miss them dearly. The breakfast was delicious, and our room was not only spacious but beautifully designed. For an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend booking an ocean-view room—the view is simply breathtaking!

Upon arrival we were greeted with professional, friendly staff that continued to be caring and helpful throughout our stay. Our accommodations were spacious, clean and had a great ocean view. The beach is narrow but a relaxing spot to read & enjoy the view. The kitchenette was well equipped to make breakfast or a quick meal. The pool area and landscaping was beautifully maintained. The location was fantastic - steps from restaurants, shops, main beach area and nightclubs. We felt totally safe and would definitely come back & highly recommend this gem of a hotel!

It would be difficult to say enough good things about this hotel. We have been coming here for the past five years and have very much enjoyed every stay we had here. The hotel is right on the beach and only a block and a half from Quinta Avenida, the street with all the best restaurants, clubs, bars, and entertainment venues in town. While located close to the "action", it is very quiet even on New Year's Eve. The staff is very courteous, caring, multilingual, and efficient. All of the minor issues we have had (and there haven't been many) have been addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and come with cooktop, microwave oven, and mini-refrigerator. Bottled drinking, glassware, eating utensils, and plates are supplied. Food can be ordered from the restaurant next door from the private beach or from your room. There is a very nice swimming pool in the courtyard and the beach is lovely with plenty of chairs and lounges.

It's difficult to say all of the good things about Playa Palms Beach Hotel. The location is excellent, right on the beach and a block and a half from Quinta Avenida, where all the best stores, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, etc. are located. The staff are courteous, caring , and efficient. The office staff are multilingual and have always given us excellent service. There are 36 units at the hotel, some of which are double for larger parties. There is a pretty swimming pool in the well-maintained courtyard and the private beach is divine with great seating. Food and drinks can be ordered from the restaurant next door with no trouble from the beach or from your room. We have been coming here for the past five years and have stayed for a month at a time in December to January. Mayan ruins are located nearby and now with the Mayan Train (El Tren Maya), they are more accessible than ever.

I have been coming to the Playa Palms Beach Hotel for the last 5 years straight to spend the winter. This hotel is located a block and a half away from the exciting 5th avenue and is a beach front hotel. The place is extremely neat, and the garden is always looking great. The staff is friendly and courteous. Everyone speaks English and the managers speak many languages. It has no restaurant, but you can order breakfast, and it is taken to your room. You can seat at the beach and get drinks and food from the neighboring restaurant. They’ll take it to your beach lounge chair. The rooms are spacious. They have a kitchenette, TV, an extra sofa/bed, and a large bathroom with a shower. Most rooms have two closets and plenty of drawers. If you need a Taxi, they’ll call one for you, and it'll be there in minutes. There is a swimming pool and it’s always clean and beautiful. Overall it’s a wonderful hotel.

The hotel’s location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Playa del Carmen with easy beach access. The design and architecture, especially the roofs, really capture the authentic vibe of Mexico, making the stay feel special and unique. The staff were excellent—always friendly and attentive.||One standout feature was the picture-perfect swimming pool with a takeaway in the middle, surrounded by lush greenery that made it feel like an oasis. The boat parked in front of the beach added even more charm to the whole atmosphere. It’s a place full of character and the perfect spot to enjoy everything Playa del Carmen has to offer.

Beautiful location right on the water, great people work here. The balconies look out onto the Caribbean sea and Cozumel is visible. Showers hot and strong. Little mini kitchen with an available hot plate etc.

Great hotel perfectly located. The service is great. The rooms are modest but have everything you need, the balcony and view is fantastic. We would definitely stay again. Great value.
