it’s a bit further from the city center (~30 mins by bus) but it’s such a nice coastline with many beaches and restaurants and bars - I prefer this to the iconic Malagueta beach

Better during the week, less people. But good atmosphere and chill place. I love it and keep going back. I prefer staying there rather than Malaga center.

Away from the madding crowds and yet so close to Malaga...The beach, the pueblo, the restaurants...The only disappointment was the poor quality of the ice cream în the Heladeria...

Great place to have sardines espetos.
Espetos, it's a typical food of Andalusia. Grilled fish cooked on the beach.
Also to have "Camperos" in a place(burger )called Mafalda. It's a typical dish from Málaga (a mix between sandwich and burger) very tasty 😋.

My absolute favorite beach when I'm in Malaga. I tend to like the western part of the beach the most, lots of good beach restaurants and bars, easy going and chilled out mood over all. Tend to be really busy during the weekends though.
