Although centrally located in Plaza de Armas, this place just felt unsafe. I booked a private room. It was essentially a room in what appeared to be an apartment that was outside of the main hostel. Common area is quite cute. Beautiful view from the balcony. Breakfast is basic - ham, bread, boiled eggs. It didn’t look appetizing so I didn’t have any. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old building. Lucky enough to be given a family room (for 5) just for the two of us. Amazing view of the plaza from the balcony, its bustling with life day and night and we were lucky enough to be treated to a lights show on of the nights from the building opposite. Very central location with good transport links and endless food/shopping options. Staff speak good English.

We actually stayed in a private room with a private bath at the hostel. The location was great, right in the center of the old part of town. Breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection of items...boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, breads, and juices. The room was very basic but met our needs for the three days we were there. A very nice added bonus was free Pisco Sours on Friday evening. Lots of reasonably priced eating establishments in the area.

I stayed one night, the location is amazing, the staff is super nice and the patios are great. There are lots of nice common spaces. The rooms can be noisy because there isn't much sound isolation, plus the female dormitory opens on one of the patios, so if you leave the windows open because of the heat, and if there are noisy/unconsiderate people using the patio late at night it could be a problem.

I enjoyed this hostel. It ticked all the boxes.Central, clean and cheap. The view was amazing. It is on the 6th and with no lifts working it is a bit of a hike. When I booked this was brought to my attention and I was offered the possibility of staying at their other hostel. Just bear this in mind if you have heavy bags.||The staff were very accommodating and made my stay more enjoyable. ||The dorms were basic and comfortable and the breakfast simple but enough.||You need to enter 960 which is directly opposite the tourist information office.

I've stayed four times in five weeks using it as a hub. The location is excellent being right on Plaza de Armas and two different subway lines; very handy. The rooms are good for the price. The common room looks out over the main square from the sixth floor. The hostel is very secure with everyone being buzzed in and out. There is an elevator with a man working the buttons and a doorman at ground level.

Amazing location and security is the only advantage of this hostel. You can see the Plaza De Armas square from the balcony, watching street performers and the sunset with a beer is a perfect atmosphere! However the music doesn't slow down until 2am and by which the rooms are designed, you can hear practically everything that goes beyond your room. If you're a light sleeper, you'll have trouble sleeping. However there are adequate kitchen and seating facilities. There is 1 female toilet (with no toilet seat) for everyone?! And 3 mixed showers which seem purposely designed to look at each other (the separation is merely a see through plastic board) good for a few nights at $12 US dollars a night.

Location; 10/10 incredible |Room; 7/10 Dirty, old Brocken furniture, poor safety features. Balcony and Views are awesome.|Breakfast; 3/10 basic, low quality.|Building; 5/10 could be incredible but overrun with hookers, pins and Johns... small lift that ain’t fit for purpose.|Price: 8/10|Overall the location and private balcony we had overlooking Plaza de Armas was the highlights. We had a twin room with private balcony. There is another twin room in this apartment but wasn’t occupied while we were there. The hostel don’t like you having alcohol in the room. We ignored that and had some wine on the balcony each night while the sun set. The goings on down below in the plaza are fascinating.
