One of the best beach in Croatia. It is small but beautiful and quiet. A few places under the trees to protect from the sun. You have to arrive early to get a place to park your car on the road. There are a few spots in 2 different places. You have to hike about 10 min to go to the beach, the return is uphill...

There is no private parking, we parked by the road, from here it's a 5 minute walk down - unfortunately it's 15 minutes up, but worth it. Down below is a perfect cove, clear water, two small, family run restaurants, one with bar service so we don't die of hunger and thirst. There are no beds for hire, but the pebbles are smaller and round, so you can sunbathe comfortably on a plain towel. No mobile network, the perfect place if you REALLY want to escape... (You can pay by card in the restaurant and bar.) Perfect peace and sweet escape❤️

Nice beach. A little bit hard to go down to the beach and get back up, but if you come with a boat it's great. There are two small restaurants and one bar. No trees no shade. Pretty big for the beaches of Hvar. Not great for kids.

Probably the best beach in Hvar, bring shoes to trek up and down the path you will have to trek in order to get to the beach itself. Don’t be that guy wearing sandals because it’s just that much easier to slap a pair of sandals on. You will thank me later. The beach is very private and quaint despite the trek it is a wonderful beach and my personal favorite in all of Europe. Furthermore, like most beaches in Croatia, it is rock not sand you will be laying on.

Very beautiful beach and landscape! To go there you have to go down for around 10 minutes, but totally worth it! There is also a coffee/restaurant and a bar next to the beach if you need something to eat or drink

Beautiful beach, like many on the island. What makes this one stand out: 1. How natural and “untouched” it is compared to other beaches in the area. (No beach loungers for rental here, not commercialized or trashed with adverts)- it’s old school bring a towel and lay on the rocks. 2. Lots of natural shade as the beach has a large amount of trees/little park 3. Steep rocky hike down to the beach/ no easy access 4. Getting here- google maps will have you think you have to drive or taxi for €35 each way, but actually there is a bus that runs between Hvar town and Stari Grad that stops at Dubovica Beach bus stop. In Hvar- the schedule is posted at the bus stop near the Konzum Grocery store and Taxi stand behind the town square church. It is €3.50 each way from Hvar to Dubovica. The bus drops you at the parking lot area so driving there is not gonna make the hike down or getting to the beach any more convenient- in fact parking is tight so I wouldn’t bother driving any time after 10am as it will be packed. 5. Water is pretty deep so it’s not a great beach if you have kids. 6. there are sea urchin at the bottom and on the rocks on the sides of the beach so water shoes are a must.

Dubovica is a stunning pebble beach in a secluded bay with crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The walk down is a bit steep but totally worth it for the peaceful vibe and breathtaking views. There’s even a small bar for drinks and snacks. One of the best beaches on Hvar – don’t miss it!

Worth the hike. Uphill is easier so no worries for your way back.
