Centro Comercial Las Americas

We love visiting this plaza which you can get to by colectivo so it is not too much out of the way if you are staying Centro like we are. It’s a good destination spot because of the large selection of shops, most brand name but some local, and the great food selection. There is also a cinema and a chedraui so with all the choices you can make a day of it and grab some groceries on the way home . I would avoid coming on a public holiday. We made that mistake and there were lineups at the cinema like I’ve never seen and you had to wait for a table in the food court.

Love plaza de las Américas and my favorite is the movies at Cinépolis. Just be early if you come on the weekends as it get really busy!

Great shopping mall to visit when you Are down. Note the local rates from most of playa is 50 pesos... they will try to charge you more but just walk to the next taxi if they don’t budge on the price.

Wonderful mall with Sears Krispy Kreme Donuts and many restaurants and stores. The Sears here is more like our Macy's back home. It is 1 today and stores just starting to open . Doing our thing Christmas movie

You will find the stores one usually find in this kind of mall. Not the best variety of things but it's not bad at all. We really like going to Toks when there.

I’ve asked our cab driver to take us to a local shopping mall where normal people go. It’s exactly what I asked for. We loved it, they have everything you may need, you can buy souvenirs, clothes, dulces. Me ha encantado!

Whatever you want is here, it's a Mall. There is all the mall stuff including a mostly American franchise filled food court.🤢🤮 There is also a large Chedraui, a movie theater, and a casino.
