Centro Comercial Las Americas

We love visiting this plaza which you can get to by colectivo so it is not too much out of the way if you are staying Centro like we are. It’s a good destination spot because of the large selection of shops, most brand name but some local, and the great food selection. There is also a cinema and a chedraui so with all the choices you can make a day of it and grab some groceries on the way home . I would avoid coming on a public holiday. We made that mistake and there were lineups at the cinema like I’ve never seen and you had to wait for a table in the food court.

Great shopping mall to visit when you Are down. Note the local rates from most of playa is 50 pesos... they will try to charge you more but just walk to the next taxi if they don’t budge on the price.

Wonderful mall with Sears Krispy Kreme Donuts and many restaurants and stores. The Sears here is more like our Macy's back home. It is 1 today and stores just starting to open . Doing our thing Christmas movie

Love plaza de las Américas and my favorite is the movies at Cinépolis. Just be early if you come on the weekends as it get really busy!

Really nice shopping center, large movie theater and lots of nice stores.

I’ve asked our cab driver to take us to a local shopping mall where normal people go. It’s exactly what I asked for. We loved it, they have everything you may need, you can buy souvenirs, clothes, dulces. Me ha encantado!

Grest place for shopping its a Mexican mall with all kinds of stores

It’s and enjoyable space with lots of food, entertainment, and shopping options for families. Having a grocery store inside makes it so easy to spend the day getting things you may want and also need for home. Several ATM’s are inside and you have multiple transportation options just outside to get back to wherever you started. The heat inside is the only drawback. If not inside a department store, the rest of the areas are pretty steamy with the humidity.
