Largest mall in the Carribean! Lots of shops and small food vendors (my favorite part) if you're looking for a leisure day of shopping and souvenir buying this is it! I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes as the mall has 4 levels I believe with food being on the 3rd floor. Remember where you parked as well!

Google
Beautifully designed mall. There is plenty of indoor parking. Lots of place on all floors to have a quick bite or dinner. There are plenty of stores to shop from or get a piercing or tattoo. The stores are so diverse. Also, there are lots of treats to eat chocolate, ice cream, cookies, and / or coffee shops. It's clean, and there are benches to relax while a friend or significant other shops.

Joel Ramos

Google
The largest shopping mall in the Caribbean for a reason. There you can find a large selection of brands, and eateries for all tastes and budgets. They have plenty of free parking around the mall with several entrances and exits. Valet parking is also available at the Cheesecake Factory entrance. They also have a cinema and even a dealership with full auto service inside. Some of my guilty pleasures I can find here are the chocolate covered strawberries, strawberries with a delicious cream, and the candy apples filled with nostalgia. Those take me back to my childhood. The place is ‘Gustitos Y Mas’ @tusgustitosymas which is right across Charlotte Russe if you are wondering. Are you visiting Puerto Rico? Add this shopping mall to one of your stops.

Google
Such great memories of this place. Very large mall, lots of shops and some still in place after decades like the Swiss chocolate shop on 2nd floor. A must place to visit.

Orlando Gomez

Google
This is a gem. The place is enormous and the cleanliness is impressive. Very kind and courteous service were ever you go. If you are in the San Juan area I would highly recommend you visit.

Google
It’s one of the largest and most complete mall in Puerto Rico. 🛍️ It offers a wide variety of local and international stores, restaurants, a movie theater, supermarket, banks, and more. Everything is well-organized, clean, and secure. It’s a great option if you’re looking to find everything in one place. Very convenient for shopping, strolling, or just enjoying a nice time. 🚶‍♀️🍽️🎬🛍

Google
Holy moly, what a mall. This is something huge. Have fun shopping around. There are plenty of dining options. Great holiday decor and sale.

Google
Huge, beautiful multi level shopping mall. Acres of parking available, which fills up fast on a busy weekend. Mall is kept spotlessly clean. Large department stores, small national chains, movie theaters as well as local stores and food, all available here. Beautiful sculptures hang from the ceilings. Plenty of bathrooms. Comfortably cool. Just remember to bring a lot of money.

Yelp
Who doesn't LVE Plaza!!! It's got the best shoe shops, a terrific food court and a French Patisserie with great Puerto Rican coffee and fancy pastries and a yummy breakfast! You can even buy tickets for a concert here! The only thing that could use improvement would be some kind of Golf Cart to help the elderly and disabled get from one side of this HUGE mall! I could've used THAT! PS try the pretzel place because those pretzels are the most delicious thing to munch on!!! Soft and Buttery!

Yelp
One of the biggest mall I had been so far , it's overwhelmingly big lol..! So if you are here in San Juan definitely gotta visit this mall . Lots of different types of store they have. I got some sunglasses, a purse , 2 pair of jeans . The food area is big too, lots of options to choose from . I ended up getting veggie pizza , it was yum !
google avatar

Yelp
There were alot of vacant stores. If you're coming from the mainland USA, you'll find alot of stores of the past and lots of familiar stores too. They still have a romanos macaroni grill and sears here. I was so shocked! There are dead parts of the mall and then there's areas that are super alive and vibrant. There's some local kiosks and lots of food opinions here. There's alot of sweet shops and kiosks too. The mall is a circle so you'll always be able to get back to your starting point easily. Parking is free and plenty.

Yelp
Awesome shops, name brands to local, clean, safe, a wonderful place to shop. Great food options as well!

Yelp
I came to visit the mall when vacationing in Puerto Rico as it had been more than 15 years since I had visited the mall and a lot of changes like more stores and restaurants. Service was amazing, friendly, and hospitable. Selection is huge something for every age, taste, etc.... as well and many stores with different prices depending on the stores you visit are the value as any mall each store has its price variation. In all loved the mall and its beautiful decoration and variety.
google avatar

Yelp
Variety of fine stores. Good ambiance and eatery places. Parking may be complicated the first few times, but you always find a spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Plaza is the OG mall. The most popular mall on the island, an icon. It's changed throughout the years but has always remained busy. Lots of good stores with plenty of variety in merchandise and prices. Plenty of eateries, from food courts to full restaurants. There is a Caribbean Cinemas and a Dave and Busters for entertainment. Throughout the year there are several events held at the mall, from your traditional Santa's Village to fashion events to live music to a variety of trade shows. There is even a science museum here. There is always something here for everyone. Even if you're not much into in person shopping, the mall is a good hangout spot and place to get those steps in.

Yelp
Amplio estacionamiento.

Yelp
Great mall lots of thing to shop and sometimes they have car shows and stuff. And still has a Sears!
google avatar

Yelp
For me, this is the best shopping mall in Puerto Rico. They have every large store and most famous stores you'll find in a mall. They also have a Target, Marshalls, and a Pueblo Supermarket. The mall is huge and consist of several floors. There are food courts and doctor offices here too. Plenty of parking in lots and garages.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been YEARS since I've been to this mall. It's one of the main malls to come to in Puerto Rico. It's three stories with the food court on the third floor. This very huge mall with lots of stores that you can find in the states with some local stores as well. It's very clean and beautifully kept. The food court on the top has a variety of choices with plenty of seating but there are restaurants as well like Applebee's, Chili's, PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory to name a few. There's also a cinema if you want to catch a movie. You can easily spend the day there shopping.
google avatar

Andres A.

Yelp
This mall is insane! Normally you hear how malls are sort of dying out but the crowds her were large and it was only around 3:00 in the afternoon. The crowd is a mix of tourist but a big portion is people from the island. The selection of stores to be able to shop at is quite large ; from big box to smaller stores. They also have a pretty big food court as well. The one warning I will give you is be prepared to have difficulties with parking. It is not easy.
google avatar

Kimber V.

Yelp
This is a really big mall. It was weird to me that they still had Christmas decorations up. Most businesses are decorating for Valentine's Day this far into January. The mall has two car dealerships. Genesis and Tesla. Who knew? There was a really nice eatery and several restaurants. They did have some great stores. However, there were also several vacant store sites.
google avatar

Kendra G.

Yelp
This mall is pretty nice, and also very big. Be expecting to get your steps in lol, the selection of the stores were great. The customer service at the help desk was amazing, even though I wasnt fluent in spanish i still received help from others. The stores range from pop shops to luxury, you can find things of all value.
google avatar

Gleicyane G.

Yelp
This is my favorite mall. It's big with lots of nice stores. They also have tons of cool events and exhibits throughout the year. With several food options, including one of my favorite restaurants Cheesecake Factory, barbers and hair and nail salons, and a movie theater, there is something for everybody. A Dave and Busters recently opened which I'm excited to try out. If only they had a bowling alley, it would be perfect.
google avatar

Justin H.

Yelp
It's the largest mall in the Caribbean and, overall, it's pretty nice. If you're from most US cities, Plaza Las Americas isn't going to be much different from the malls that you have at home. I also think the prices aren't any better or more competitive. That said, it may be worth a stop. Somehow Sears (not that you'd want to go) is still alive in Puerto Rico and the mall offers a little bit of everything. My daughter went into Forever 21 and it was like the size of a Macys. Huge store. Same with Foot Locker. Anyway, not a bad option if you need to shop for something.
google avatar

Yelp
This mall was huge! We had a great time. The people were nice. There are many stores. Great shopping!

Yelp
Nice mall you can find what ever you want there . Has plenty of stores to choose from.,It even had a nice movie theater .I was looking for one particular store, but they did not have it there. The lay out is great and plenty of parking.

Yelp
My friend and I went to this mall in San Juan on our last night just to waste some time. It is a huge mall and apparently, it is the largest mall in the Caribbean. The mall has been around for decades and is an older looking mall, but still has everything you need. You will find a good mix of international brands (Macy's, Forever 21, Marshalls) and more local stores. There's a large food court too. It is not a must see, but is probably the best mall on the entire island.
google avatar

Rob S.

Yelp
We really only came here to go by the Playero location that is at this mall. As it turned out we ended up going into about 4 or 5 different stores. The mall is exceptionally large, and very up to date. This probably rivals any mall I've ever been in as far as physical space it takes up (including parking), restaurants (Lots of chains, so there will be familiar places too), tons and tons and tons of stores. All sorts of places we've never heard of before. Mall itself, requires temperature check and hand sanitizer before they allow you to proceed beyond entrance doors. Once inside they actually have the place sectioned out....each side is for one way traffic only (walking). They try to prevent people from getting in each others faces I'm guessing. For perspective this is from the first week of May 2021. Overall we really liked this mall. Large and clean and tons of options. We'd for sure come here again.

Yelp
3.21.22 Went to the mall awesome mall, great stores and shops restaurants..but bathrooms were all a great distance away from the many corridas that this place has ...put more bathrooms

Yelp
Plaza Las Americas was definitely my favorite mall in PR. The place is simply gorgeous on the inside, super clean and organized. It is the largest shopping mall in the Caribbean and the second largest in Latin America. Unlike Mall of San Juan, this mall is very diverse. You can find expensive and designer brands but also more common and affordable options such as JCPenney, Macy's, Forever 21, Old Navy and Marshalls. There is a Caribbean Cinemas located inside the mall too. These movie theaters are very common in PR and honestly they're excellent and super cheap. I watched Alita and came back the same week to watch Captain Marvel and both days the experience was awesome. It was definitely a nice experience here. I'd definitely come back here if I'm in PR again!

Yelp
Incredibly beautiful mall. I found the same stores i would find back at home. It was like being back in the states. They test your temperature before you enter every store. You must wear a mask correctly. They spray your hands with something after they check your temperature. If you refuse. They don't let you in. They have a mall or plaza as they call it security guard with signs to remind people to keep there masks on, wow. I visited Godiva. I got the chocolate strawberries. I liked it. Victoria Secret had a huge line. I was surprised to find Sears and JC Pennies here. In my state those stores where closed. My favorite time store was this Christmas store. It was beautiful. It had a Santa. They have decorated the mall for the holidays. It looks beautiful and festive. In the middle of the mall they had a stand that was really cute. It had what it looks like a section for kids for Santa to visit. It's a nice mall with plenty of parking. The mall is clean and festive.

Yelp
Awesome mall! It's huge and said to be the largest mall in the Caribbean. It has many of our favorite stores, a Starbucks, a Cheesecake Factory, a movie theatre, and definitely something for everyone. We were crazy enough to go on Black Friday and it was packed! It took us almost an hour to find a parking space and it was wall to walk people inside. We definitely got our steps in and had a lot of fun shopping.
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
My brother and I came here as one of our excursion stops. There were three floors of shops and the majority of the restaurants on the 3rd floor. The mall was clean and bright. The number of people here looked normal for any mall that I've been to outside of Black Friday. I saw a lot of security guards walking around the mall. Overall, I thought the mall was good and the place to go if you want to shop in Puerto Rico.

Yelp
Great shopping experience...best Macy's in the US of A! Love their boutique shops, and wonderful food court.

Yelp
Great mall , a lot of stores .. recommend all tourists to go here .. drive safe as well , directions are a little confusing

Stephanie S.

Yelp
This is your average decent mall. 3.5 - 4 stars depending on which part of the mall you're in. It has most of your typical stores like Victoria's Secret, and a few specialty stores that sell kitschy and novelty items. There's a movie theater which gets quite packed with people. The floors in the theater don't look their best but nothing too bad. There is a soft serve spot near it called Soft n Creamy. Best. Soft serve. Ever. After having from this place, it has ruined other soft serves for me. There are a lot of beautiful sculptural pieces throughout the mall. Mainly water/marine life themed I believe. Most of the pieces are by escalators and some suspended from the ceilings. My fave is the one with numerous large water droplets. I've attached photos of some but they seriously don't do the art any justice. My only complaint is the food court. There technically isn't one. I guess I'm used to all of the dining options being in one location but at this mall they are rather scattered. On top of being inconvenient, the options were underwhelming. Nothing special and almost everything looked bland.
google avatar

Ang K.

Yelp
Huge 3 floor mall. A lot of popular stores and various food options. The drop off and pick up areas are very hectic. There is also a Marshalls separate from the mall and there are signs that direct you outside across the parking lot. Overall pretty nice and nice employees greeting you as you enter each store.
google avatar

Danni N.

Yelp
This mall has a lot of great shops. You will definitely love it and need loads of time. However.. finding a bathroom can be harder than finding Waldo. They don't have many bathrooms or a directory on where to go. Besides those small things... I came out with a few more bags than expected. (Too bad the MAC Store was under construction) They have all of the mall favorites: Sephora's Zara's Forever 21 Foot Lockers Champs Gap Old Navy White House/Black Market Macy's Sears JC Penny's NYX Banana Republic Mango Adidas Cheesecake Factory P.F. Chang's ...and more! Happy shopping!
google avatar

Em S.

Yelp
Had a rainy day and visited both malls. This one was crowded with locals. I took an Uber here, so didn't deal with parking, but saw that cars were waiting for spaces. A huge area is roped off for valet ($7), nearly forcing drivers to use valet. I visited a few of the usual shops at most malls. I was surprised they had a Ray Ban shop. Had never seen a stand alone one previously. They also had an Alex and Ani. The Tiffany was a little strange because it shared space with another shop. I had lunch at Cheesecake Factory, which was fine, but wasn't anything I would not have done in Miami. Visiting here was very much like shopping at Dadeland Mall. This is not a discount mall or an outlet mall. And a shocker is the 11.5% sales tax on clothes and shoes here. It was something to do on a rainy day but it is not a "destination."
google avatar

Denise T.

Yelp
This mall is huge, being from the mainland of the states I honestly can say we don't have a mall this big in Charlotte NC, so I must say I was impressed! Many of the stores were closed but even still there was a good selection. I also appreciated how they took our temp and sanitized our hands in each store to stop the spread of covid, I simply love PR!!!!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
This mall is huge and has all the "AMERICAN" FAMOUS stores and restaurants. During COVID-19 the entrances have check points for temperature check and to receive spray alcohol/ sanitation on your hands. All stores also check temp and spray you. Everyone is very friendly and there are mall employees checking to ensure everyone is wearing mask properly. My reason for a 3 star is because prices are much higher at the mall. Don't be fooled. souvenir are much costly PR water bottle heat is $13 but in old San Juan shop is $5 that's for everything. The stores are pricey too. I love ZARA and can't find that anywhere else so yes I shopped there but for example Aldo has a clearance purse $50 and ALDO in Bayamón has same purse for $25. The food variety is awesome and great price!! FOREVER 21 stays true to prices and is the biggest FOREVER 21 I have enter. If you love to shop go. But don't be fooled paying so much more for souvenirs.
google avatar

Christy M H.

Yelp
I loveeeeee this mall. Mostly because of the many food options they have. The layout of this place beautiful. It is always clean and everything is super spaced out. Every single store always seems to have good deals and the employees in general are very helpful. This is my favorite mall mostly because of the food, many options and always cooked well wherever I decide. Cannot wait to go back.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
A very nice modern mall with many typical U.S. stores, along with some very unique ones like the art market. They have a movie theater as well. Parking was all over the mall. We went on a Saturday and it was super busy. The water fountain in the central area is a nice touch. The food court has lots of different options but is crazy busy.
google avatar

Rosa P.

Yelp
Went to Puerto Rico during the holidays and after Irma. I was happy to see how busy the mall was and how things looked to be getting back to working status. This mall is very big. We walked the whole three stories looking for paticular stores I was interested in. I could spend all day in there! There are many options for everyone. Even though the tax is a little higher, its still worth it. They do not have the same items as in the U.S., For example, Vans Puerto Rico shirts one of a kind here. They have plenty of food options too! You can definitely get lost in there. English is not a problem there. Yearly trips for my Vans shirts are TODO.
google avatar

Airiel J.

Yelp
This mall is huge! I mean so huge they have multiples of the same store. And in a good way if that makes sense. Food options are abundant! Clothing stores look chic and again PR service is at its best! A coupe of us still need some souvenirs and there is a Walgreens that had good prices nice little trinkets.
google avatar

Angie O.

Yelp
This mall is HUGE - the largest mall in the Caribbean! There are so many stores, one could spend an entire day here. We came on a Monday around 7pm, the mall stays open until 9pm. The parking lot is also huge, and there were still many cars in the lot when we arrived. I did not feel like there were many shoppers (everyone was likely dispersed through the various floors and sections), which was great because we needed to do some power shopping. All sales associates we encountered were fluent in English and Spanish. I feel like we were almost always greeted with a "Hello" - they could probably tell we were visitors. All the stores were in nice condition and merchandise was neat and tidy. The mall itself was very clean and modern feeling. They had very nice indoor foliage and fountains. This would be an awesome place to spend a rainy day. It is truly a shopper's paradise!!

Yelp
DO NOTpatronize EYE CENTER BOUTIQUE Plaza las Americas. Absolute terrible experience. On the infinitely rare occasion I post a negative review - this may be my first one ever - I avoid describing any interpersonal conflicts and stick to facts. In this instance, it's hard to describe the lack of fundamental business sense this location displays. Did not honor a guarantee on a Maui Jim prescription frame I purchased four months ago. The frame cracked in two separate spots during a day-trip. Thankfully, I had super glue to re-attach the lens to the frame to get home at night. General manager tried to tell me by supergluing the frame it closed any warranty per their policy. I asked to see the policy....and received a blank stare. So much more, with illogical responses. $700 Maui Jim's will have to continue with superglue. Still love them and lack vanity, so I'll continue to wear them. Maui Jim is a great product and hoping to circumvent the absurdity and deal with rational, long-term thinkers. :)

Yelp
"Did you *really* travel allll the way to Puerto Rico and go to a maawwll?" Yes. Yes, I did. And I liked it. I don't shop. I don't enjoy shopping. I rarely buy anything new. It's true. Carefully examine my wardrobe in pictures and you'll notice the same pieces over and over. I probably shouldn't be admitting this, but it's true. So, my interest in exploring this mall was purely from a soc-anth perspective. It's gigantic. It spans several floors and has shops that vary from the run-of-the-mill to the super trendy to the 'oh-you-must-have-money.' This dynamic also applies to the food court. It's clean. The walls, floors and glass sparkle. The ceilings are high and it gives the feeling of being in a jeweled city. It's also quite popular given the amount of people who were roaming its floors in search of deals, friends and hook ups. Yep, hook ups. I have been known to frequent a bar or a club or two in my day. I know what prowling looks like. I have the restraining order to prove it. After spending an afternoon here, I am convinced folks line up not for deals on shoes but to score some digits (do the chil-run still get digits?). I am not judging; I'm just sayin'. And, J-Lo lookalike, call me. Please? Recap: big mall. Cool stores. Pretty people. Clean inside. Come looking fresh and clean to score some [e-mail addresses? FB pages? Twitter accts? I don't know what the kids are calling it these days]. One last tip: guys, I'd advise to use the restroom on the first floor by the cookie place only if you truly have to go. I ventured inside and witnessed a lot of 'wide stances.' Flummoxed, I reported back to my buddy who replied, "Oh yeah. That kind of stuff goes on all the time." Thanks for the warning, friend.

Sherry H.

Yelp
I love this place but you could easily spend the entire day just walking around because there are no options for a quick ride to your car to drop things off.
google avatar

Greshka P.

Yelp
The mall to go when visiting PR. I do, at least one trip to this mall, every time I'm there. Here you will find stores like Macy's, BCBG, Zara, as well as local stores like KoKomo (surf shop), Valija Gitana & Hecho a Mano (clothes), La Favorita & Novus (for the best shoes there). Oh, and on the 2nd floor you'll find Magrite - chocolate store - really good selection. Do, at least, get 1 chocolate strawberry or a hazelnut truffle. Depending when you go, you can find artisans on the mall's hall, or exhibitions of different kinds. 3rd floor is the food court - wide variety for all tastes and cravings. So, go, buy for yourself and some souvenirs for your family & friends back home.

Yelp
Fantastic mall. Very large and has most common shops and many others. Very clean and classy and the people are great!

Yelp
Hello friends, On my trip to the beautiful Puerto Rico we needed to do so mental therapy. SHOPPING. My sister was meeting up with one of her Army pals soooooooo I got me some free time. And boy do you need it, and more. This place is huge. To be honest I don't believe I saw the whole place. I caught stomach cramps walkin so much. It has everything. Too much to mention. Go have fun. Private message me for my address if you're in the giving mood. Lol. TTFN

Yelp
This is the reason I cannot give stateside American malls 5 stars because this is my comparing factor. I know, the largest mall in the Carribbean is probably not the fairest contender but unfortunately thats just what it takes to impress me at a mall. Huge mall...I don't know the exact numbers but probably 300+. Every store you can think of they have it. I litterally thought I would spend one or two hours here and I'd be done but I easily spent 5 hours looking like a deer in the headlights gushing over the stores here. The quality and cleanliness of the stores is just as good if not better than what I see back home in VA. The restarant selection is good too, I love that they have a French Cafe inside! I'm a Victoria Secret fan and this was the best VS I've ever been too. Now, the food court was a disappointment considering the size I thought it would be a bit more impressive. Wrong. This place gets crowded! Even in off peak tourist months ( if there is any...) this place is full of people. Parking as with driving anywhere is Puerto Rico is a battlefield. Be aggresive and follow through or you'll get rear-ended probably with a hit-n-run. Sorry but it's the truth. I know it took me nearly 1.5 hours to leave the chaos only to drive what is easily 10 minute drive back home. Overall, I will submit myself to the parking/driving nightmare and will definitely return when I am in my shopaholic mood (which is often). I enjoy this mall and I hope it continues to become better. P.S Don't go to the nail salon people-they are rude :p

Yelp
Plaza Las Americas, which opened in 1968, is the 2nd largest mall in Latin America! It is 3 stories, a movie theater, two banks (First Bank & Banco Popular), U.S. Postal Service delivery, and a passport processing area (Pasaportes y Servicios). The prices are the same as malls in the U.S. and the tax rate is 7%, but there are a lot of stores so you can compare prices from store to store (Don't take that literally. Use a deal-finding app.). One of the entrances is attached to a free parking deck, so you don't have to go to the ground level, which I find immensely helpful because I'm creeped out by walking around streets at night by myself. Bust out one of those find-my-car apps because the garage is quite large. Plaza is a great place to spend the day when the weather is bad; or, you know, if you're on a romantic getaway and need to stop by Victoria's Secret. Year-round there is live music, car shows, and informational seminars (on finances, pet care, etc.). You can keep track of the events on their website, their Facebook, and their Twitter. My favorite time to go is during the holiday season, because it has decorations (photo ops) galore, is absolutely packed with tourists and locals, has holiday movies playing in the cinema, plays Hispanic holiday music on the intercom, and has a mall Santa. The best place at Plaza to eat quality affordable Puerto Rican food is El Meson Sandwiches, which is in the food court (as opposed to a sit-in restaurant). You can check out their menu online: http://www.elmesonsandwiches.com/
