Plaza Pombo B&B

Highly recomended value for money! I came after midnight and they easily let me in via calling upfront agreed phone number. Hotel is centrally located, with balcony and nice view to square. Room was perfectly clean, nice and offered everything needed for one (or even more) night stay. Breakfast included.

Had a great stay at plaza pombo! Location is great and the place is very clean (with daily housekeeping), great value too as the price included breakfast which kept me going until 2/3pm each day. Room a little small but fine for solo traveller.

A place to call home during our travels, welcoming, friendly and kind staff, very comfortable and clean room. Exactly as shown in the pics. Excellent location. A real B&B feeling includes a nice served and buffet breakfast where you’ll meet other guests and exchange impressions. We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

The hotel is on the third floor in an old building in a city centre. Situated by a plaza, right by a church. Amazing rooms - clean and spacious. Except the hair dryer that had exploded on use and the electricity went off! The hand got died black after the malfunction. The electricity was restored in 30mins by the cleaning lady (the receptionist is not on duty in the mornings, the breakfast & cleaning is done by the cleaning lady). The hairdrier was replaced to a smaller, older, cheaper than before (you would get this in a dollar store for 3-4 euros) so we hesitated to use it at all. The breakfast was great, you get a set of wheat products each, 1 type of cheese and ham, some joghurt, juices and fruits.

You will hear all guests entering the floor. Small in the room was not so good, but room was clean. Great to have a breakfast in this prise.

2 minutes walk from sea front, right in the heart of the town for very low room rate. Clean with lots of character but not all rooms are ensuite. Situated beside cafes, shops and nice foodie bars. Breakfast basic. Lots of other options outside. Excellent choice for a couple of nights.

My wife and I stayed at Plaza Pombo for two nights during a recent visit to Santander. The B&B is about a 10 minute walk from the bus/railway station and is situated in a beautiful square. We were allocated a nice room that looked out onto the square, it was compact but had all the facilities required including tea/coffee. Breakfast was adequate to start you off for the day and was a bit of a bonus as less places seem to offer it included in the price. ||The Plaza Pombo was good value for money and I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Place is nice and clean but the constant noise from street including glass recycling truck is unbearable no sleep whatsoever. First 4 hours constant people noise laughing shouting talking then glass recycling truck visited twice through the night and as dawn broke we had the seagulls no rest for the wicked. Even the sign in the window opposite gave the game away
