Plaza Pombo B&B

Highly recomended value for money! I came after midnight and they easily let me in via calling upfront agreed phone number. Hotel is centrally located, with balcony and nice view to square. Room was perfectly clean, nice and offered everything needed for one (or even more) night stay. Breakfast included.

I stayed 4 nights at this fabulous BnB right in the centre of Santander. my room had all the amenities including fridge and kettle. Everything was spotlessly clean. Lovely bedding and towels. Very friendly staff. Breakfast wasgreat, everything you needed to start your day.

Had a great stay at plaza pombo! Location is great and the place is very clean (with daily housekeeping), great value too as the price included breakfast which kept me going until 2/3pm each day. Room a little small but fine for solo traveller.

A place to call home during our travels, welcoming, friendly and kind staff, very comfortable and clean room. Exactly as shown in the pics. Excellent location. A real B&B feeling includes a nice served and buffet breakfast where you’ll meet other guests and exchange impressions. We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Great cheap price, at a very good location! The staff was super welcoming and so helpfull and friendly with giving information. This was really awesome. basic hostel rooms, and we had a room with a really small seperate bathroom. The toilet was down the hall but that wasn't an issue. We had breakfast there, fresh coffee and orange juice with a slice of toast and a croissant :) and that's all i needed! I was really happy with my experience there, certainly for that price!

The hotel is on the third floor in an old building in a city centre. Situated by a plaza, right by a church. Amazing rooms - clean and spacious. Except the hair dryer that had exploded on use and the electricity went off! The hand got died black after the malfunction. The electricity was restored in 30mins by the cleaning lady (the receptionist is not on duty in the mornings, the breakfast & cleaning is done by the cleaning lady). The hairdrier was replaced to a smaller, older, cheaper than before (you would get this in a dollar store for 3-4 euros) so we hesitated to use it at all. The breakfast was great, you get a set of wheat products each, 1 type of cheese and ham, some joghurt, juices and fruits.

OK....first of all, this is an old buildings in the center of town with a lot of bars nearby so YES it is noisy (at times). The rooms are large, however and as others have noted, not all are with attached bath. The breakfast is basic (I am not a big breakfast eater) and the staff are very helpful and kind. I think it is a great choice for Santander unless you are seeking luxury.

The room was very clean and had a nice view towards the church and main square. Breakfast was included in the room rate. Personal was respectful and we had a fast reception. We forgot to ask for internet details while checking in. Would have been helpful to have the internet instructions in the room.
