Decent hotel very clean and our room was quite spacious but our friends that stayed in other rooms had slightly smaller rooms. There's a tram stop right outside which the number 14 takes you to the center which is handy. The staff at reception were friendly and attentive especially Jana, who helped us with loads of info and any issues we had. We had one issue with a cleaner who we see leaving our room while we was out for 5 minutes to go to the local shop... this was after our room had already been cleaned a few hours earlier 🤔. Reception assured use the cleaner was just checking if our complimentary wine was in the room and nothing was missing so we left it at that. Overall nice hotel and would recommend.

Our stay at this hotel was truly delightful! The staff, especially Jan at check-out, was wonderfully friendly and professional. The absolute highlight was dinner at the hotel restaurant - we had some amazing seafood dishes, including perfectly cooked octopus salad, seafood in wine and salmon. The service was super attentive and friendly. The room was cozy and clean, with some lovely touches like a complimentary bottle of wine and a Prague postcard. While the breakfast wasn't quite as impressive as dinner, the overall experience was great. The hotel had a really nice vibe, with jazz music playing in the lobby and a peaceful atmosphere throughout. What really stood out was how genuinely warm and helpful everyone was - from the moment we arrived until our departure. For anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Prague with exceptional dinner options, this place is definitely worth checking out!

We had a wonderful stay at Plaza Hotel during our trip to the Czech Republic. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with information about the area. Our room was fantastic, offering a lovely view of the main street. Despite being so central, the traffic noise didn’t bother us at all, and we slept like babies every night.||The breakfast was another highlight—abundant and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. A major bonus was the free parking for our car, which made things so convenient. Public transport was just a minute's walk from the hotel, making it easy to explore the city.||Nearby, we found excellent restaurants, shops, pharmacies—basically everything we needed within walking distance. Plaza Hotel truly offered the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and great service. Highly recommended!

The room was beautifully appointed, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stunning views that made our morning even more special. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. Each meal was a delightful experience, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, the hotel provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. We left feeling rejuvenated and eager to return. Highly recommended! Special thanks goes to receptionist Diana who was very helpful.

Prague is a city I think it is nearly impossible to leave, and this hotel was a core part of our experience. The nature of the city means you won’t really spend loads of time in your hotel, but you want it to be a good one; somewhere friendly, clean and comfortable to get your head down at the end of the night. ||The staff at Plaza Prague were so great, Polina and Jan were so welcoming. I’m really grateful to the member of staff who was kind enough to look for a ruler for me when I needed to send a designer some measurements back home, I forget her name, and I ended up buying a sewing kit for about €2 but I’m still touched she went out of her way to do that. ||We didn’t try the restaurant but it smelled delightful every evening, we did pay for breakfast which proved more than worth it (we’ve been stung by bed and board before and I’m pleased to say this was a very different experience). ||The room was more than worth the price. Very cosy, a simple, clean bathroom, and very comfy beds. We actually had a room with a corner window too which we were very grateful for as the view of the Christmas tree outside was lovely. ||I would really like to thank the staff at Plaza Prague Hotel for helping make our trip to Prague so wonderful. I will never forget our time here and we will return in a heartbeat.

Avoid This Hotel – One of the Worst Stays Ever I am giving Plaza Prague Hotel only 1 star because my experience was incredibly disappointing. Old and Unpleasant Environment – The hotel feels outdated, with old, smelly carpets and a generally unclean atmosphere. My room wasn’t properly cleaned, and the odor upon entering was so bad that I had to leave the window open for hours. Not a Comfortable Place to Stay – If you need a place just to sleep, it might be fine, but this is not a welcoming or comfortable hotel to spend time in. It lacks warmth, doesn't feel inviting, and certainly doesn’t feel like home. Forget about working or relaxing there for long hours. Horrible Room Situation & Terrible Service – The worst part? They gave me a room with a thin connecting door to another room, where a British couple returned drunk every night, arguing loudly. I could hear everything, and to make things worse, I smelled cigarette smoke seeping into my room—isn’t smoking supposed to be banned in hotels?! On top of that, the housekeeping was awful—they didn’t change my towels or replace toilet paper for two days, which is completely unacceptable. Honestly, I should have received a full refund for this nightmare stay. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Everything was perfect! The hotel was very clean. I stayed with my parents, and they were very satisfied as well. The restaurant, breakfast, and dinner were fantastic. Additionally, the staff were very attentive and friendly. Erik and Diana at the reception were especially helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful holiday. Thank you very much!

We were very satisfied with our stay at Plaza Prague Hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and cozy. At the reception, we were greeted by pleasant staff, a young woman and a man, who explained everything in detail, answered our questions politely, and created a warm first impression. We were especially pleased with the nice surprises from the hotel upon our check-out, such thoughtful gestures truly brought a smile to our faces. A special highlight of our trip was the Puglia restaurant. We chose the Michelin menu, ordering seafood, a panna cotta dessert, and a bottle of white wine, which, interestingly, was made from red grapes, a delightful surprise. The service was outstanding: our waitress not only helped us select the perfect wine and dishes but also ensured everything was served at the right pace. The other waiters were equally attentive, checking in to see if we were enjoying our meal and offering recommendations on how best to savor each dish. And, of course, the atmosphere of the restaurant was simply amazing. The cozy interior, soft lighting, and gentle background music created a perfect setting for a special evening. Plaza Prague Hotel and the Puglia restaurant truly left us with wonderful memories, and we would gladly return here again!

Yelp
For a hotel that's not exactly walking distance from Praha 1, this hotel was very pleasant for our stay. Though I will say that we did not pay close to the going rate, thanks to a sweet online deal booked months ahead of time, this hotel was a surprising mix of luxury and the line right before it gets so fancy that it sickens you. The rooms are HUGE and clean. And the attached restaurant has a pretty amazing breakfast that you should eat as much as possible at. If you're eating their at night, go for the Czech dishes and not the American ones. Partially because you don't want to be the guy eating chicken tacos in CR. That's just weird. However, the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, helpful, and fluent in many languages. Use them for your Euro to Crowns conversion as much as possible and have them book your taxis into town and to the airport. Not only will this help you not get scammed, but it will be the best price possible. 7/10.
