Want to add some colour to your reusable mask game? Nab a pair of navy, denim or peach ones until 2 October - SilverKris

"As part of a nationwide second distribution round that began on Monday, 21 September, this location served as one of the exclusive collection points for limited-edition reusable masks dispensed from vending machines. Residents could collect a free pair of white reusable masks (adult or kids) with a government-issued ID, or pick up pre-ordered colours using the redemption QR code generated at payment. Limited-edition shades were available only at select sites and were priced at S$8 for a navy pair (adult size only) and S$10 for denim, peach and black pairs (available in adult and kids sizes); additional pre-ordered white pairs cost S$8 each. Pre-orders ran from 13 September to 2 October and collection from vending machines was available until 4 October; the machines do not accept direct sales. The masks are reusable, antimicrobial, washable up to 30 times, and tested to be 94% effective against Influenza A (an enveloped virus similar to SARS‑CoV‑2)." - SilverKris

Plaza Singapura is one of the most convenient and enjoyable shopping destinations in Singapore. Perfectly located right next to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, it’s incredibly easy to access and ideal for both quick errands and full-day outings. The mall offers an excellent mix of retail, dining, and lifestyle options from popular international brands to everyday essentials, cinemas, cafes, and beauty services. Everything feels thoughtfully laid out, spacious, and easy to navigate, even during peak hours. What truly stands out is how practical yet vibrant Plaza Singapura feels. It caters effortlessly to families, professionals, students, and tourists alike. The dining options are diverse and reliable, making it a great place to meet friends, relax after shopping, or enjoy a casual meal without stress. Clean, well-maintained, and consistently lively, Plaza Singapura strikes the perfect balance between convenience and experience. Whether you’re shopping, dining, watching a movie, or just passing through Orchard Road, this mall never disappoints and remains a firm favourite in Singapore’s retail scene.

Google
Sleek and modern mall with immense verticality, spanning up towards the 7th storey. Each floor especially the upper ones are not that large hence it's quite easy to navigate, it is very cool and air-conditioned. Aside from that, the toilets arerelativelyv clean and there is an assortment of food, entertainment, and shopping as well scattered throughout the mall. It is also conveniently linked to the large Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange which makes this mall very accessible.

Google
A very energetic mall in the heart of the city. This shopping mall is located at the edge of the shopping belt and is one station away from Somerset MRT and two stations away from Orchard MRT. You can spend some time shopping and eating here and then proceed to Somerset and Orchard area where you can continue your eating and shopping journey.

Google
Huge shopping mall with many major brands onsite. Convenient to get here with a MRT line right at the mall. Many nice shops.

Plaza Singapura is a fantastic place for shopping and dining in Singapore! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The mall has a wide variety of shops ranging from fashion, electronics, lifestyle, and more, making it a one-stop destination for everyone. The food options are amazing with plenty of local and international cuisines to choose from. The atmosphere is lively, clean, and very convenient with direct MRT access. A perfect spot for shopping, dining, and spending quality time with family and friends!

Google
Great shopping place. We have spent time at asics and sports shoes. But best of all is the group of Yamaha music stores on the 4th level. Brilliant.

Yelp
Singapore just seems to be a mish mash of places to go to if the air is so stultifying steamy that you need to just run into some place air conditioning! My list of places I'm reviewing in Singapore sure makes it seem that way (and honestly, it's not that far off from the truth!). This is another one of the many malls that offer a slew of shops and restaurants. Frankly, it's become a blur to me, but I was tagging along with friends who needed to run errands. Put on your walking shoes - this place is huge! I loved the choice of restaurants.

Yelp
Liked this mall alot compared the list below I've visited. If you're not into luxury shopping, I would visit the first 3 over the others for general shopping like locals or cute gift ideas. The others are still nice and big but lots of emphasis on brand names luxury. - Plaza singapura - nice uniqlo - Vivocity - mall that connects to sentosa express. Good food court - Bugis + - Chinapoint (in CT) - has mini decathlon store - Raffles - ION orchard - HUGE daiso on B4 level Marina bay sands - next to art science museum

Yelp
I ate here many times and really enjoyed the variety of food options at the food court on the sixth floor. My favourite was the Chinese mixed rice place. There are a lot of big stores and cute shops in this mall, and it's connected to the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Yelp
Singapore sure loves their shopping malls. This one is pretty good overall. It has some staples like Tim Ho Wan HK dim sum. It also has some quirky shops like Spotlight (an interesting fabric / party goods store) that I haven't seen elsewhere. They also have Marks & Spencer from the UK which I don't see too many of outside the UK The mall is multi leveled but there is an elevator that you can take to fast travel.

Yelp
This place is gigantic. Its relatively convenient as it stands on orchard road along with several other shopping malls. Alot of great things are here: Daiso, MUJI, miniso, DBS bank a 7-11 and so on! If you are from America like me, Cold storage is a good place to get some American imports, though it is on the expensive side...! There is also a golden village theater on the top floor so you can do all your shopping (groceries included) and catch a movie!

Yelp
Great place to eat and shop, they have an activity area in the middle of the main floor, last night while shopping and having dinner. A Zumba class for senior citizens was being held. It looked like everyone was having a lot of fun. There's a plethora of shops and places to eat and drink. I just went to buy some crocs because they had a sale, but also visited the grocery store Cold storage which in my opinion was a little better Fair Price in terms of selection and choices. I got some breakfast ingredients, some snacks and personal items. There's something for everyone, I also grabbed some Takoyaki and fruit juice during my shopping there.

Yelp
If there is one thing that Singapore has a lot of and that is huge shopping centres. Actually, it does get confusing at times because some of these shopping centres end up merging into each other so it is sometimes difficult to tell where one ends and where the other one begins, and I suspect that this is the case with this one. Anyway, it is basically set up on top of a railway station, and a major interchange at that. It pretty much has everything you would expect from a huge shopping centre, including a cinema on the top level. Oh, and I also found that shops were clustered together based upon theme, so there was one level that was full of geeky shops, which I have to admit was pretty cool. Otherwise, this is basically the same to the hundreds of other shopping centres in Singapore.

Yelp
Tim Ho Wan lives at Plaza Singapura, therefore I love it here. Also, theres a huge cold storage and DAISO (my new favorite store!). Like almost every single mall on Orchard, Plaza SIngapura is clean and grand. There are many different establishments here and I feel like it attracts a different crowd than other malls because of the variety. I didn't really have a chance to fully explore this mall. My friend and I were on a mission and pressed for time. Fortunately, Tim Ho Wan, one of the stops on our mission at Plaza SIngapura did not have a line! It was amazing! If you only come to Plaza Singapura for Tim Ho Wan, I wouldn't judge you. The other store we stopped at was Daiso. Shopping in SIngapore is not all that great for me. Especially because a lot of name brand things are much cheaper in the states. Daiso broke my shopping strike because everything was so cheap and fun! Plaza Singapura is also a very convenient mall as it IS the Dhoby Ghat MRT station stop. Wooo! So easy!

Yelp
The good: - Right at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station, which is a useful junction for different train lines. - Some interesting shops - Better than hanging out at Lucky Plaza or some other really totally old-school mall (relatively speaking) The bad: - Food choices here are so-so - The mall, while not as ancient/gross as say Pearl Center in Chinatown or Far East Plaza, is still on the older side = narrow corridors, low ceilings, small retail spaces (this sucks when you're there on a weekend when it gets crowded) I wouldn't say this is my go-to place unless I was a local again and actually wanted to shop at a place that wasn't full of luxury goods. If you're a tourist you can skip this joint easily. Otherwise, sure why not - it's just another mall you can hang out it. At least you can take a subway here easily

Yelp
Plaza Sin has changed quite a bit since I was a kid. Omg i remember the dingy place when I was a kid when my grandma would bring me to yaohan. The place has been remodelled many times, with the latest being a whole new extension with lots of new food places (Nana's green tea, Tim Ho Wan, etc) and shops (Uniqlo, etc). I used to remember Plaza Sin for yaohan... And then it was spotlight, the scrapbook shop, Daiso, and the central stage where there is always some performance happening. Since Dhoby Ghaut interchange is just below, phone reception is also typically non-existent when it gets really crowded on weekends. Located just next to Cathay, we'd also usually come here for movies if tickets at Cathay were out! Good times ;)

Yelp
Nice mall with newly Reno area. Great to see a old mall being transformed into something modern. I remembered queuing up to get into swensen restaurant many many years ago and going to the big Japanese supermarket and department shop. All gone from here.

Yelp
Plaza Singapura, or PS, is one of my favourite malls because it's extremely easy to access with three MRT lines stopping at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station beneath it. You can enter the mall from the basement straight from the NEL side of the station, but beware the financial planners and other folks trying to stop you in your tracks to get at your money. The variety of shops is decent, and there is a supermarket, a cinema, and a game arcade, so foot traffic is aplenty. I usually go there to visit either of the above three, or check out thrift store Daiso and arts and craft shop Spotlight. It's also nice to browse all the "useless" knick knacks on sale such as soft toys. The restaurants draw quite a lot of people too, with the relatively new Japanese restaurant Itacho drawing a large part of the crowd.

Yelp
This is one of several malls on Orchard Road and it is perhaps on the older ones and it can be seen especially in the original part of the building. There is however a convenience in that it is just on top of Dhoby Ghaut MRT so easy to get here. It also means that it tends to get crowded, especially on weekends. I do find the mall a bit too narrow and difficult to walk around in when it gets crowded so usually avoid it at weekends. The new expansion, where they are also doing some renovations, is more airy so can be better to stroll around in. Many of the stores here are rather boring and do not really do anything for me but they have a few fun ones to visit and that is Japanese thrift store Daiso which is a bit more expensive than in Japan but still fun. The newly opened Chinese (trying desperately to appear Japanese) store Miniso is also fun. Otherwise it is mainly a branch of Uniqlo and a good Cold Storage that brings me back here. F&B options are fairly boring so would not come here for the food as most of the other malls on Orchard are better for that. Still worth a visit as it does to some extent feel like a more local experience than some of the other malls on Orchard Road.

Yelp
I like this mall better than any others on Orchard Road. It is busy, but not maddening, has a variety of stores, some of which are hard to find elsewhere (Bricksworld and Spotlight, for instance). I particularly like the occasional street performers outside, and the HUGE variety of eateries within. That I can access it without walking in the rain from Dhoby Ghaut MRT is a plus. I think it is big and expansive enough to rate one of the cool interactive directories you can find in the malls downtown, rather than only floor by floor, to ease navigation though. Fortunately, the online site has a better directory than you can find on premises.

Yelp
This used to be the mall of my secondary school days - coming here for Carl's Jr and The Cafe Cartel earmarked the happier moments of my adolescent days. The cinema here used to be one of the places where I would catch a flick (before the days of The Grand Cathay's grand reopening), and the food court has the most spectacular Indonesian grilled food! Sadly, the mall has lost most of its luster, in my opinion. The shops here do not draw my attention anymore (I guess I've been spoilt by big brands and walking down Madison Ave in NYC and spending most of my time in Paragon and Ion), and I would rather be in its next door neighbour, The Grand Cathay. It's good to know that they're doing a renovation - but I wonder if it'll be worth it.

Yelp
Since young, I often hang out at this mall and it has undergone numerous number of changes. The modern look of the mall is definitely an improvement comparing to the past, it has to catch up with the newer malls around the Orchard Area and I think it has done quite well especially with the extension. I am impressed with the variety of shops especially food, so its often one of the venues I bring my foreign friends to whenever we are in Orchard Area. Its a great mall for a quick drink, meal or a movie as its location is quite convenient. Check out the food section at the basement as I often go there for dessert (Ji De Chi) and some small bites along the way. The prices may not on the up, but can't expect much since this is in Orchard Area. Overall, I enjoy this shopping mall and would definitely recommend it for the above reasons.
google avatar

Yelp
I randomly stumbled upon Plaza Singapura... I googled the closest HSBC bank which brought me here, and what was intended as a quick pit stop turned into a casual evening walking around the mall. Was a very convenient location to access- numerous bus departures/arrivals and portal to multiple MRT lines. I've heard about Daiso so much since I've arrived in Singapore so it was my opportunity to finally glance at the hype. Generally, all of the shops seemed in the mid-price range, a breath of fresh air being in Orchard, and plenty of eateries around. I enjoyed the layout, personally didn't find it too crowded on a Saturday evening, and could see myself frequenting this location often.

Yelp
I have friends who refer to this mall as "Plaza Sing", and I've started doing the same as well. Is this correct, or should I follow the other locals and just call it "PS"? (Only thing is that "PS" makes me think of PS Cafe.) Either way, Plaza Sing is A-OK in my book. It's easy to get to, as it's on Orchard Road, right above Dhoby Ghaut station. 3 MRT lines and like, every other bus line stops here. It's a huge mall, and their new extension makes it slightly more complicated to navigate if you're newer to the island and unsure of what the mall looked like before renovations. (Yes, I'm talking about myself.) Surprisingly, I come here more for food instead of shopping, as it's a nice halfway point to meet my husband for weeknight dinners. From what I've seen, the shops are more mid-range, not so much high-end. In terms of eateries, the famous dim sum spot Tim Ho Wan is here. The queue is madness, no matter what time you go. Other eateries I've been to are Skinny Pizza, Nando's (chain restaurant specializing in Portuguese chicken) and Suki-ya (shabu shabu), which all deserve their own separate review. Notable stores include the huge StarHub shops (I think they occupy space on 2 separate floors) and the aquarium store in B2. (My husband and I are aquarium geeks!)

Yelp
The PS from my youth was a rather old mall, and I definitely marvel at how much it's evolved since then! It's the most connected MRT interchange for now, with North-South line, North-East line and Circle line connected to it, so when people can't decide where to meet up, I pick here because it's the easiest for me and most others! Shopping isn't particularly exciting - I mostly frequent this place for the crafty shops - Made With Love, PaperMarket and Spotlight. The food levels in the basement are pretty extensive though, lots of food you can pick up on the go. Parking here is always a bit challenging though. The good news is that they've realized the old system (circular spiral up the side, slow winding way down with no way back) was quite dumb, so they've recently set up a new entrance that's a little bit smarter, even if it's still a bit confusing!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Plaza Singapore (PS) is one of the malls I frequent as Dhobby Ghaut is the meeting point between the North-South Line and the purple North-East Line. And now even better, got CIRCLE LINE. How many lines you want to dominate ah!? Anyways, yes, get past those judgmental (office wear = I-WANT-YOU-NAO, beach wear = dirty look) insurance/credit card salespeople at the basement, and come up to a very good mix of shops. I'd say it's one the malls that has managed to do level segmentation very well. You can tell who they are trying to cater to at each level. There's the furniture level, the mothers level, the gifts & hobbies level, and the food level amongst others. The two levels of Carrefour and Marks & Spencer are a gift for families and also for last-minute Christmas shoppers. There's a Tokyo Walker section at Level 4 - a one-stop place for cheap-and-easy Japanese food.
google avatar

Yelp
This Orchard Road mainstay is pretty high on the sleepy-to-painful scale of Singapore malls and it doesn't have a huge number of particularly compelling offerings. The new extension that recently opened provides a much more comfortable shopping/walking experience compared to the main building but since it's only a small percentage of Plaza Sing it doesn't have that much overall impact. Dodging other shoppers and their prams, elbows and motorised wheelchairs is all fine and good if there are compelling retail offerings to lure you in. I see little of this at Plaza Sing. There's a half-decent Starbucks that is now open 24 hours and crammed with students, there's a big Uniqlo, a Skinny Pizza and Tim Ho Wan. None of them greatly endear me to this mall. The only real pluses I see are the Carls Jr in the basement and the 6/F food court which happens to have some brilliant ayam penyet. And I highly recommend you avoid the Starhub outlet here on weekends... unless, that is, you want to spend multiple hours of your life aging prematurely while turning into a hot ball of rage.
google avatar

Ancy N.

Yelp
Parking can be a pain as there is usually a wait to get in. Mall is always busy and they have recently added a new wing. Interesting new restaurants too.
google avatar

Hafiza A.

Yelp
This shopping mall has one of the most strategic locations in this tiny island. Being an MRT interchange where many lines converge, it's convenient for many to settle on Dhoby Ghaut or Plaza Singapura as a meeting point. Yeah, it's just like most malls with the usual food, clothes, shoes, arcade shops and there's the daily buzz everywhere! When I'm in Plaza Singapura, I like to window shop at Marks & Spencer, the pet shop at the food basement, and especially the craft stores, Spotlight, Made with Love and PaperMarket. The Golden Village is another establishment my friends and I frequent in this mall.
google avatar

R A.

Yelp
Singapore is like 80% malls, this one is one of the funner ones to me. It's got a easy layout, sort of, some malls out here get too crazy with their layouts and it becomes like a maze. This one is easy with an almost circular layout. And if you wanted to go to a mall that had all the shops you wanted in one place, this one might be the one. It has all the staple singapore mall stores like Daiso, Uniqlo etc.. but it also has some really cool toy stores upstairs next to the theatre. And it has an Art friend.. I mostly love coming here to stare at the toyz
google avatar

Claudia P.

Yelp
Shopping mall at the edge of Orchard Road and next to the Istana. It's an average mall if anything, with the usual clothes options (Aldo, Springfield, Giordano), a fairly big Marks & Spencer outlet, a huge two-level Carrefour, Golden Village cinema and a pretty fun arcade. It also has a huge Spotlight on Level 5 which is a great place for picking up arts & crafts items, fabrics and anything for your home interior. Apart from the Spotlight, it also has several craft stores (e.g. Made with Love) selling specialist items for scrapbooking, and you'll find teenagers in these stores poring over the pretty papers and ribbons on any given day. Finally, there is a Daiso which is always packed with a crazy queue (everything for $2!) and sells just about everything you need for your home and office.
google avatar

Flora Y.

Yelp
Plaza Singapura is one of the best places to hang out with family and friends on a weekend. With so many shops around, food courts, dining outlets, plus a movie theater, you know you can't go wrong mentioning "PS" as the meeting area. Also, with the MRT line just right at the mall, it's even more convenient for meetups or window shopping periods. I go there nearly once a week and even though I get sick and tired of it sometimes, it's one of the most convenient central area for a group meeting with friends as all of us reside at the different areas, all around Singapore.
google avatar

Alexis C.

Yelp
One of the malls that I got really familiar with in the past because I worked nearby, Plaza Singapura is more or less like any other mall but I am glad to know exactly where all the shops are. It is currently going through quite a major face lift. I also found out recently that Daiso has moved out from it, which is sad. The iconic Spotlight is still there however, for which I am glad. There is also the Carrefour supermarket where one can find quite a lot of variety of food. For light snacks before a movie at PS or the nearby Cathay or a concert at Fort Canning there's also a whole basement of finger food and some fast food available. Special mention also goes to the food court at the 4th or fifth floor which has famous Indonesian chicken and rice set. Most of the shops do seem to suffer a bit from lack of business though mainly because the tenant mix is quite random.
google avatar

Ray L.

Yelp
The Plaza Singapura is a pretty decent mall that doesn't have any fancy retail stores or restaurants, but is pretty solid for running errands or just grabbing a casual meal with people. There's a new Cold Storage in the basement alongside a variety of eateries and drug stores. Various mid-end stores specializing in flip flops, electronics, clothing, luggage, outdoor sports equipment, etc. line most of the mall and there's a new wing with a Starbucks, fancier food establishments and retail stores. All of this right above the Dhoby Ghaut interchange makes for a very convenient (if sometimes extremely crowded) destination.
google avatar

Reuben M.

Yelp
This is probably one of the most congested malls in Singapore in terms of parking. The carpark is constantly full possibly from patrons of the mall and movie goers going to the Grand Cathay. The two most prominent shops in Plaza Singapura would be Carrefour for all your grocery/household needs and Spotlight for all your DIY needs. Spotlight is probably a great place for design students as well with their large offering of fabrics/buttons/dye etc. As a mall, Plaza Singapura does not much to offer but I suppose it is worth a look if you happen to be in the area.

Yelp
I came to the Plaza Singapura branch of Nando's after hearing many praises. I ordered Grilled Chicken Tenders and mild spicy sauce, with sides of spicy rice and PERI-wedges. I was served a plate with a generous amount of PERI-wedges, a small side of Mediterranean rice (which wasn't my order) and only 5 strips of chicken tenders. The portion was rather small. The mild spicy sauce was too sour. The Mediterranean rice was basically fried rice with frozen vegetables and white onion. Furthermore, I hadn't ordered that but after questioning the waiter, he told me that they don't have anymore spicy rice. The service was terrible. They could have asked if I wanted another side, but just decided to give me something else instead. The waiting time for the food and bill was also exceptionally long.
