This hotel does what it does. Not flashy, not expensive, quaint and friendly. RAMONA'S BAR & CAFE make this a nice chill spot. Security is a plus for your safety with the chikas. Rooms are above average unless you are renting an Air BnB or something like that...

Pleasant staff, free coffee in the lobby in the morning, security at night, clean pool. It is a great place to stay if you are not interested in the resort prices and frills.

Been enjoying and staying here for the past 3 years. Just recently enjoyed a 9 day stay here. The staff are wonderful and friendly. I feel at home when I stay here. Nice restaurant on site (Ramona). Her staff are fantastic and friendly. About a 10 min walk to the beach or the main strip. Very clean, hot water and cold a/c. I'm looking forward to my next stay here.

Portions if this hotel are condos and if those some are Air BnB's. That said our room (109) was clean but small. Don't rely in the kitchenette to do anything but basics in. Other rooms in complex have much bigger kitchen spaces however. The central pool and hot tub are really good and sunny most of the day. Pricing gbis reasonable. Inside is quiet but my gosh the all area all around can get quite lively on the upper floors.

I paid $51/night. Credit cards accepted with surcharge. Gigantic room with powerful A/C, full-size fridge, and generally good WiFi. Excellent restaurant onsite. Lavanderia onsite. Walking distance to everything. Pool and Jacuzzi onsite. Great staff. It can get noisy at times, but I wasn't bothered. Excellent showers with unlimited hot water. Huge beds. The space and amenities of the hotel would cost far more elsewhere. Onto the downside: this hotel caters to a clientele of sex tourists. It's kept discreet, but you will see single male tourists of all races squiring chicas in and out of their rooms. That's pro forma for Sosua. The city is hellish and despairing, so know that before you come...

The rooms are well kept up with housekeeping everyday. I never had to ask them to clean my room in my five stays over the course of four years. The staff are very friendly and commendation to all guess. I highly reconment this hotel. And Sosua is a great place to visit as well

The location was great considering there was still a curfew doing my visit. Plus the ability to have four people in the room was a plus. The downside was that the room needs an update. Also there was no maid service which I had from other condo rental I have rented in this area. This means changing your sheets and towels plus taking out the trash. Plus a lack of toilet paper which I found out after curfew. The owner handled the other issue promptly.

I totally underestimated this place. Let's get the cons out of the way. The building is old. Ok. Most of the buildings in Sosua ARE old! You will not find a better place at that price point! The staff are amazing from the security, at the door to the owner, Ramona. Very friendly and accommodating. The place is located in the heart of all the action, and 10 minutes from the beach. The place is super clean. There is always someone sweepimg, mopping, or dusting. This was my first trip. I will definitely be back to Europa. They go out their way to make you feel like family. To the people that gave bad reviews...... You need your head examined! One review the guy said someone went in his safe and stole $400 from him and $200 from his friend. Was that after or before you smoked crack??😂😂😂 Again........ I totally underestimated the place because I'm used to staying in upscale places. This is not that place. It's a humble, plain Jane type of place. But, the service, and proximity to all the attractions, and your guaranteed safety is PRICELESS! Let's face it, if you're going there for the same reason 99.999% of the other travelers are going for......then, safety should be a priority! And, let's face it.....you are meeting strangers and bringing them back to your room. God knows, you could be bringing a serial killer in your room. If you fall asleep in Europa, you're perfectly safe because ALL VISITORS MUST LEAVE THEIR I.D. AT THE FRONT DESK. AND, THE VISITOR CAN NOT LEAVE, OR GET THEIR IDENTIFICATION BACK, UNLESS YOU ESCORT THEM TO THE DOOR! So, you are very safe. I will be returning on March 29th. While I toyed with the idea of booking in an upscale place.......im spoiled with the treatment I received in Europa. I feel like I made new family, and I can't WAIT to see my family AGAIN!!!
