I had a terrible experience at Pley Hotel, and I would not recommend it to anyone — especially families.
First, the cleanliness of the hotel was awful. The bed smelled disgusting, the room was not clean at all, and even the hair conditioner smelled so bad, it was honestly unbearable — like something rotten. For a hotel of this standard, this is completely unacceptable.
When we arrived after a very long flight, we were told our room wasn’t ready. Instead of offering a real solution, they just put us in another room that didn’t even fit our needs. After traveling for hours, this was the last thing we needed.
On top of that, we had a serious issue with a broken baby crib they gave us. When I went to reception to inform the staff member named Alex (or Alexander), he was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The first thing he said was, “This is not my problem, it’s yours.” , please the management get back to the camera security record as we were taking in the reception and sure the camera record how rude he was to me ( 6 July around 9:00 am )I told him my baby got stuck in the broken crib and started crying, and he laughed. I asked him not to laugh because this was about my baby’s safety, and he just said, “I’m trying to understand the story, but it’s still your problem.”
Even worse, while I was still talking, he walked away and said he had “other work.” His attitude was not only careless — it felt racist and discriminatory in the way he spoke and treated me.
Shame on this hotel for the lack of professionalism, poor hygiene, unsafe equipment, and horrible customer service. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
