My husband and I had an amazing time here. The bar tender Anh was so skillful with his serving style. He was very personable, sharing all the local spots to check out. The General Manager Jimmy was so helpful and informative as well. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and great service. Thank you guys.

We love to come to Plonk for a cocktail before dinner! The drinks are amazing and it is a fun environment. The food menu is a bit on the smaller side, making it more limited for dinner options. The best cocktail is the g.f.c - a refreshing basil lemon-lime cocktail that is perfect for summer. We normally get the ploughman's platter (meat & cheese board)

Absolutely impressed with the cocktails here! They were shockingly good. And I never turn down an opportunity for a drink on a patio. We put a lot of time and thought into where we’ll eat and drink on vacation because we want to make the best of it. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Plonk is worth a stop!

We were excited to try Plonk after a long day of fishing. The restaurant has a great vibe, and the drinks—once they arrived—were excellent. While the service was a bit slow, the staff was friendly and welcoming. As for the food, it was just okay. The atmosphere set high expectations, but the halibut in particular was disappointing—bland and a bit fishy.

Had the Cioppino and wasn't disappointed although it was a bit small if you're very hungry. Service was great and just the right amount of portions. Upper bar was closed but overall would recommend.

The food was delicious and the drinks were great. However, it was quite noisy, and unfortunately, I experienced an unpleasant situation—perhaps it was a cultural difference, but it was the first time it happened to me. I was brought the bill to the table without asking for it. It was only 9 PM, and the place was still full of people, so I interpreted it as a polite way of saying “it’s time to leave.” I don’t think this is the right way to treat a customer who is spending money at your establishment.

Plonk was a very nice quiet dinner on a one-night weeknight stop in Bozeman. Quality food (steak salad was solid), great service and classy atmosphere. Great wine list. Loved it!

Super disappointed. This place used to be fire. The wife and I chose to come here a couple days ago after a long awaited evening hiatus away from kids since her mom comes to visit once a year. The cocktails were great as we remembered and frequented, but oh man, the food...major let down. The rotating flatbread was paper thin, ultra dry, and looked like it was cooked the day before. Not warm at all and tasted sad. Asked to have that sent back and didn't want another. And the happy hour half chicken was luke warm at best. The taste was there, but you could tell both had been sitting out awhile which was a shock because the place wasn't even crowded around 3:30 and there were plenty of servers. Portions were a joke. A place that was a go-to years ago, definitely got cut from our list after that experience.

Great cozy feeling bar with good food. The steak was surprisingly very tasty and the potatoes were spot on. I had the fig old fashioned to try something new and will get it again. Definitely worth a visit.

Great wine options! Food has been consistently good including perfectly cooked venison. Once I was served pink chicken but the staff replaced it with fully cooked chicken. Fun romantic vibe. A fun place to go downtown.

This place has been so carefully curated (my bf said Zoolander vibes but I haven't watched - sue me!) to give very upscale chic ny vibes but I walked in in hokas and a big sweatshirt after a roadtrip and had a fab time. Didn't get the name of my waitress but she was great, she had a bandana. The food so good. The sweet potato gnocchi tasted like my childhood and I had a ratatouille ™ moment. The drinks were exquisite. Also after living in Jackson not even expensive. They switch to happy hour menu at the 10:30 but there's food on there too that looked great (plus the vg cheesecake was on it which was great)

Very inventive cocktails. It was here that I was introduced to Chynar, a bitter artichoke liquor. The bartender was quite skilled and personable. I didn't try any of the food, but it looks quite good. I only ended up in this place because we came to drop my kiddo as MSU, and our hotel was across the street. It was a good random find. If ever I find myself in Bozeman again, I'll be sure to stop by for a cocktail.

We went to Plonk end of October early November and were blown away with the whole restaurant, food, and service! Our waitress was Madelyn and she was amazing. My husband ordered the hanger steak and I ordered the halibut. Both were fabulous and cooked to perfection. We shared a salad and that was stellar. The ambiance was so cozy. Madelyn checked back made sure our dinner was stellar and really contributed to a wonderful date night. We will visit again. She really made us feel welcome!!

Fabulous place for a tasty cocktail and dinner. Indian Paintbrush cocktail was amazing. Started with the vegetables as an app - pretty good. We both ordered the bison burger and were very very pleased. It was great. Will be back for sure.

We wanted a quality dinner after a week of eating burgers and pizza in & around the national parks. Ambience is upscale casual. I had the halibut and it was excellent, although the chef should reduce the salt on it and the potatoes. My wife had the sweet potato gnocchi and it was also very good, although it could've been a little hotter when served. I enjoyed the Indian paintbrush cocktail, which came with a sugared rim. My wife enjoyed her strawberry Mojito, even though she ordered a watermelon Mojito. Other than that mistake, the service was good. Not the cheapest place to have dinner, but we were pleased with our experience.

A fun little wine bar right on Main Street! I love popping in for a glass of wine or a delicious bite to eat.

Some interesting cocktails. The lighting level is far too dark for pleasant dining. What are they hiding? the service was acceptable but on the impatient side. The portion of gnocchi was ridiculously small.

We stopped by for a mini dinner consisting of a spread of appetizers. We had no reservations for a Sunday night but we were able to sit down right away at the bar. The restaurant/bar has a great atmosphere - the bartender mentioned the wall behind the bar was the original I believe and it had all the local ranches logo on it - so cool! We ordered the Bison Flank Steak Salad, Fried Chicken Skewers, and Crispy Pork Belly. The Bison Flank was cooked a perfect medium and the greens were fresh and crispy while the ricotta was creamy. Fried Chicken Skewers were yummy, they didn't have a huge layer of breading on the outside which was nice. I have been enjoying seeing pork belly on more restaurants lately, this pork belly was a great mix of savory and sweet! I would recommend giving Plonk a shot, they have a decent assortment of liquor and the menu is fresh/uses local products!

Ok so food and drinks delicious. I got the Korean chicken on happy hour and a Pineapple Express cocktail and I was actually planning on staying for dinner too but the server took my menu and didn't ask if I wanted more? So weird experience but I bet it's cause they had a GIANT table of like 30 people they were more busy with. Would go again to try dinner in the future! (The food was that good)

Great find! Great location, fun atmosphere, great service! Scallop appetizer was very delicious. Venison was cooked perfectly. Cocktails were okay. Definitely will return!

Easily one of the best places for a drink. Interestingly, the Bozeman location is very similar to the Missoula location and it's all a good thing. Ambiance is dimly lit and relaxed, crafted cocktails are interesting and high quality, and service is efficient, personal, and not hovering. This is the perfect place to take your date for a night cap or to catch up with friends over a good drink!

Excellent food and decent wine selection with some interesting cocktails. Love the layout on the inside with the brick and the outdoor seating options tucked in the back are great on a nice day. Moody restaurant with very dim/dark lighting is good for romantic evening or date night. Casual dress code but high end dinners. I had the duck confit, friend had elk. We enjoyed trying something we can't get most places. House red for $5 was a great deal for tasty wine. Similar menu to the Missoula spot but a few variations. Limited menu options. Only hiccup: Waitress was a touch persistent for my speed and we opted to leave earlier than planned because felt a little rushed to order/decide on dessert.

Great cocktails followed by delicious crafted dinners and wine choices. The recent halibut special was amazing. The changing menu keeps it interesting and the variety of offerings suits any mood and appetite. Fun vibe and good service rounds things out. Love Plonk!

Yummy drinks and fancy food were not quite worth the price. Also, a drink was returned at the table, and we were still charged for it when mentioned they refused to take it off. Very fun place to get with friends quite spunky moody feel.

What a great find after our week two fabulous National Parks it was great to get into Bozeman and enjoy some great good and wine. Plonk, has it going on... Packed house. It was so good, although a tight squeeze, but we were glad to find a seat. They only take reservations for parties of six of more so it's a bonus to get table. We enjoyed great wine and delicious food. The service was top notch and the staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wines. The decor is so hip and chic with a Western style flair, exuding the whole Montana vibe. We loved it here. Had an excellent dining experience and I would definitely recommend.

asked to split a bill because we were leaving before the rest of our party and was denied. when we asked for a third time to have our bill separately from rest of our party we were met with demeaning attitudes and acted like we were being done a favor. we barley saw our server within the hour we were there and weren't even able to order a separate round of drinks. have been in many times before and this has never been an issue. deterred is from returning based off service.

Portions were on the smaller side, but overall the food was good. Upscale, fancy spot. Would come back for the right type of thing: fancy dining or date night.

This was my first time at Plonk. A friend of mine recommended it and I'm SO glad she did. I was in town by myself for a training and I ran up into the mountains after to take advantage of the little daylight that was left. By the time I was done with my hike it was 9:15PM and I was starving. I drove downtown and parallel parked (yikes) and when I got inside the restaurant it was super busy and seat yourself. I grabbed a single table in the back and my server was there within 2 minutes to take my wine and food order. I got a glass of the Sauv blanc and the steak bison salad cooked medium rare. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection and came out within 10 minutes of my order. My server Jenna was an absolute doll and my water glass was never even close to empty. I seriously think I was in and out in less than an hour which was perfect for me because I was tired and just needed some sustenance. It's honestly the best service I've ever had in my entire life and I would 1000% recommend to anyone in the Bozeman area.

What a place! We sat at the bar and the woman who served us was a phenom. So friendly and informative. I had elk chops for the first time and the dish was perfectly prepared and delicious. Great spot with an awesome vibe and I would highly recommend visiting this cool spot.

We were in Bozeman for one night and by way of trustworthy recommendation checked out cocktails and food at Plonk. What an incredible menu and impeccable service. Cozy and relaxing cattle branding wine bar vibes, highly recommend.

I stopped by for a drink and stayed for dinner. What an excellent experience!! Jimmy, Dexter and Enu were awesome. Jimmy makes an old fashion that will make you wanna slap your momma. Great banter and all around phenomenal time. Thanks guys!!

Soooo good! What a cool spot, sheik, fun, different, and damn the food was amazing. A little gem restaurant hidden among a town full of meh food with high prices. Find Plonk, order a bunch of different small dishes to share with your friends and enjoy. No frill, no Bs, just great food in a unique setting!

Amazing food, service was good, and the ambience was great too. But really, the food was top notch. There were 4 of us that all ordered different things and all really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

The drinks at Plonk are always so amazing. Sitting at the bar is so entertaining watching the masters of drink. The apps were great, beef tartare with salt and vinegar homemade chips fabulous. The lamb smash burger delicious.

I've dined at the Plonk in Missoula and had decent experiences. However, the team in Bozeman is a notch above and the pork chop to the salmon both shined. Great service and even better atmosphere. Will be back soon.

Been coming here for years and this place continues to have mediocre cocktails, and just abhorrent service. Sorry to keep bothering you all with trying to come to your establishment. Will literally go anywhere else. Today was the last strike

If you walk past Plonk, turn around! It's SO good! Madison was our waitress and she was incredible. The atmosphere was so fun, but the food...WOW! Your tastebuds will thank you. Had the house salad, ploughman board, and cauliflower curry dish with lentils and bison steak and wanted to lick the bowl. Go in, try anything, walk away with a smile on your face!

We wanted to check this place out after a great recommendations from the Bozeman Spirits bartender. Sat at the full service bar and Bo, who is the lead bartender is a master of craft cocktails took great care of us tonight. I enjoyed a gray goose martini with blue cheese olives and my wife had the Flirtini.... Citrus vodka made in house and lemon lime cranberry and Prosecco! Amazing ... We also ordered the Charcuterie Board and it rocked the house. Fresh baked Sourdough, served with flavorful cheeses! If you're in Bozeman you MUST visit this place!!

Had a wonderful time here as a solo traveler in Bozeman for the night! The food was on point and the drinks were even better. Let's talk about the easy on the eyes staff behind the bar who all have their own personalities that shine for days. Rad vibe, will definitely come back for more fun when in MT. Chao!

I am about to give a raving review. And so I just want to get my big complaint out of the way. The cheese board. It's gorgeous, has great variety and came with yummy bread (this is a minor complaint because we asked for an extra order of bread never got it). Okay but this is it. Gorgeous cheese spread with nothing. No honey, no berries, no grapes, no spreads. I love simple cheese but when I'm paying for a cheese board I would expect some razzle dazzle flavor components. Okay that's it that is my only complaint. Otherwise this was miraculous. After 4 days of hiking and camping I was craving some bubbles and greens. So we dawned our gear, took a deep breath, and avoided eye contact with all the gorgeous patrons in the restaurant. The host didn't bat an eye at our ensembles, and they allowed us to seat ourselves! A server was there almost immediately. And the rest was perfection. We were given pours of a couple different wines to try before making selections. And our server allowed us to put in our food order at once but coursed it out for us. Whether it was the som, the server, or a food runner at our tables everyone was so kind! I ordered my delicious big green salad (that comes with bison (hello bison country)) and subbed it with some roast chicken. Yo - so much food! The place was totally vibing. And I adored it. This is a great spot for young people AND for adults. Towards the back there are sofas and it feels super swanky. It might get a little more clubby in the late evening. But they serve food till late!

With covid still hanging around, we have decided to focus on solely outdoor or open air dining. When we arrived at plonk on a Wednesday at about 9PM- true outdoor seating was filled, but with the front being entirely open we decided to sit "inside" because it really does bring the outside in and the airflow was substantial. We had the crab cake starter and shared the curry and both were fantastic. The cocktail menu was extensive and had a lot of unique options- everything we tried was lovely. Service was attentive but not too much so- overall definitely recommend.

Fun place with great cocktails and wine selection. Food is always good, but it is served at kind of odd times. Overall great for a girls night/date night!

When this place opened back in the day I got hooked on the GFC martini. Proud to say it's the only thing I drink there! When Plonk started serving dinner we were so excited. The lentil curry is amazing (add the flank steak).

Wow, we had dinner in the wine cellar on the 23 rd of December. The hors d'oeuvre tray was superb. Dinner exceeded all expectations. Grace was at our beckoning call. I would recommend Plonk for that special occasion. Thanks for a special night.

Came here for happy hour- this place is cute inside and the staff are really nice... we tried the cheese board and it was a lot for 2 people, it would have been nice if there was some honey or jam or olive oil to go with it so it's not so dry but other than that it was all great. Cute little spot!

We had such a great evening at Plonk. We sat at the back patio outside, mostly covered in shade. At first we were just planning to get cocktails (which were outstanding) but then noticed 3 menu items that were vegan and had an amazing dinner. Highly recommend!

Awesome happy hour from 3-5 each day. Great place to hang out and have a few cocktails and light snacks before dinner somewhere else. I've also been here for dinner and everything I tried was great. Cheeseboard is always the move. Cocktails are hit or miss, the coconut lime one is 10/10, I recently had a spicy tequila one that just tasted watered down and meh. Nice to sit on the patio in the summer, they do get very busy though.

So stinking good. My husband and I stopped in here a couple weekends ago for a small meal. We ordered the cheese starter and shared the Elk chop dinner. It was a perfect amount of food for two people to share, and it was delicious. Every single bite made my mouth happy. It was a bit crowded, and people were standing way too close to us while we were actually trying to have a meal... which was weird. The food made up for the patrons being medium rude and unaware that their bodies were impeding my ability to use my arm to cut my dinner. We would still go back regardless.

Exceptional food, drinks, and atmosphere. A true gem. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in Bozeman.
