Pluckers Wing Bar

I came to the Pluckers on Lamar and had such a great experience. Our server, Robbie, was efficient, kind, and really made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The service here is noticeably better than the Southpark location — we didn’t have to wait long to be seated, and everything felt more organized and welcoming. Honestly, I’m willing to make the longer drive just to come to this location because the service and atmosphere are worth it. Highly recommend this Pluckers and definitely ask for Robbie if you can — he was great!

Came here with friends and kids. Service? Fast and friendly. Beer? Cold. Everything else? A total flop. The wings — their supposed specialty — were a disaster. Cold, dry, barely any sauce. They served some extra side sauce which was pur chemical, factory and the main taste was also here salt amd preservatives. I’ve had beef jerky with more moisture and flavor. Chips? Soggy and oversalted. Honestly, how do you mess up wings and chips this badly? Took a peek into the kitchen — felt like Gordon Ramsay should storm in any second. Not filthy, but not exactly sparkling either. Final verdict: Bud Light was the highlight. We won’t be back. Ever.

Love this place R.I.P. my boy Jacobi! (Gone from Pluckers but not forgotten). Great spot to watch football. Stop doing trivia doing Thursday night football! Otherwise exactly as advertised. Decent wing/sports bar

Food is good as expected. Service is not the worst out of all locations by far. Don’t expect a refill or for your food to come at the same time. Your apps will come after your food is out. And yes you will be 1 of 3 other tables in the entire restaurant. Plenty of staff waiting around but your waitress will be nowhere in sight

I ordered the Bypass burger and it was great. It had to be at least a half pound of beef. I ordered it medium well and it was cooked to perfection. I love their wings. Their 'Fire in the Hole' sause is super hot and fantastic!

I came today with some little humans I’m responsible for (lol) and our server “Nas W” was amazing! He checked on us and made us feel seen heard and was over all one of the best servers I’ve had. Our family LOVES pluckers especially since pluckers was born in the beautiful state of Texas in the most beautiful city in Texas AUSTIN. 10/10 great service! Great atmosphere and great food! Thank you Nas for being such a great server! We love you Pluckers!

I rarely write negative reviews so when you do, you know the restaurant totally earned it. I was so pumped to finally try Pluckers because I’m always hunting for a solid sports bar but wow, what an absolute disaster. I get that it was busy, but sitting there for 15 minutes without so much as a drink or a “hey, I’ll be right with you” is ridiculous. My waiter (skinny white dude who mumbled through every sentence) was basically a ghost. The one time he came back after taking my order, he asked if I wanted to order something else… and I’m like, “I still haven’t even gotten my drink or my appetizer.” His response? “Yeah well, I haven’t gone to the back yet.” Unreal. Five more minutes go by still no drink, no food, no server so I just got up and walked out. At that point, what’s the point? I thought about trying another Pluckers location, but honestly, he pissed me off so bad I said forget it altogether. If this is the kind of service you think is okay, Pluckers, you’ve officially lost a customer. I realize I’m only one customer so you don’t care, but still frustrating. Epic fail from start to finish.

Hreat place ti watch all your favorite sports and eat wings. I hand 15 dry rub wings of various flavors, cheese sticks , and pina colada margarita...drink special $1.50 off draft beer ultra and miller

I wasn't a fan of Pluckers. The floors were sticky and dirty, but it was a bit not taken care of considering it looks like wood. Even my coworker hinted so. The ladies restroom floor was wet and slippery, not safe. No "wet floor" signs anywhere. The menu had a vegan option, but it wasn't very flavorful and the chick'n pieces were skinny. It looked like Gardein or Qourn brand. The sauces didn't cover the pieces and they were seasoned. It looked thrown together. Not prepared or "cooked". It came with bland fries that was coated with a dash of salt. If I had the opportunity to return, I would not and instead go to Urban Bird.

I have been several Pluckers around Austin. Most of them had a slow service, but not this location was okay. Good vibe and good service. However wings were cold. I am not sure, but if they had that piece. The place is a solid 4 stars. If you are craving chicken wings this is your spot. They have special every day and try their app to collect points. Also if you are into sports. They have that streaming non stop!

3.5 My husband ordered us some food from Pluckers online. When we went to pick it up it wasn't ready so my husband came back out to the car for about 10 minutes. After getting our food we headed home. Our order was correct. Yay!! This time I ordered the Pluckers Nachos No Cilantro. They were tasty. The chips were crispier than in the past as there wasn't as much queso on the nachos to make them soggy which was an improvement. The chicken pieces were chunky and the sauce on the nachos added flavor. I also got the Chicken Bypass Sandwich with avacado, and bacon but no lettuce or jalapenos on a sweet bun. The bun was nice and warm. The chicken was a good size and very tender. There wasn't much avacado or onions but they were in the sandwich. The bacon was crispy. Overall the ordering process was easy, the pick up was fine even though they were running behind, the order was correct and the food was just okay.

Cruz was awesome! Went on trivia night with my trivia group and he was attentive to our table but didn't interrupt during the questions! Even though the trivia questions were bad, that wasn't any fault of Cruz.

Late-night fried food cravings kicked in, so we ordered delivery from Pluckers... My gf and I shared the 10-wing combo (Lemon Pepper) with tots and an order of frickles. Appreciate they have half orders for the apps which we did with the frickles. Delivery came fast, but a few sauces were missing (DoorDash refunded a bit).

Finally getting around to trying PLUCKERS in Austin. I went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch at around 2pm and was able to get in and get a table as soon as I walked in. The staff was welcoming. There is a parking lot but the spots are limited. I ordered the 6 piece spicy Lemmon pepper and after I ordered I remembered that I forgot to request them extra crispy but when they came out they were cooked perfectly! The spicy Lemmon pepper flavor was packed into each bite! I ordered the loaded cheese fries which come with Sour cream,bacon, Cheese, and Jalapeños they were also delicious. I love FRIED PICKLES so I couldn't pass them up! I got the half serving which included 3 pieces (I ate one before the pic haha). I would have liked a little less breading on the fried pickles but all in all they wer good! Pluckers has great ranch if you know you know that not all ranches are created the same and Pluckers ranch is high on my list! I would recommend this location, I really enjoyed my experience here.

Just received my order from Uber. 10 wing meal with an extra ranch dressing and extra celery sticks and a side salad. Not only did I not receive the extra ranch and celery, there was none at all! Food was ok. I don't live far from this location so I expected the food to be hotter and not barely lukewarm.

So, normally I love to come to pluckers. Today was my last day for a cheat meal for 2 months and I chose this location. First, my sever Joey was amazing. He came quick and got the food order correct. He was friendly with my son and did a great job with checking on us. The atmosphere was calm and enjoyable and the lighting was perfect for my last meal. Now, here is my complaint. My 2 year old was with me and of course needed his own food. I ordered the buffalo bites. First they came out super burnt and mainly gristle. Then after we asked for a second order, it still came out too hard and rubbery for my 2 year old to eat. I am very disappointed in the food quality. Now I have to drive to the Wendy's 8 minutes away and pay more money to get my son decent chicken he can chew. If you're coming for the wings as an adult this place is a great choice. But, if you have children, please choose a more family friendly place that takes their time cooking kids food!

Not giving this place 3 stars because it was terrible it was just blahhh. Like the most sub par average meal ever. The restaurant was packed, full of families and young kids. The server was great tho, a little too great...he came around ever 3 mins to check if we were good, which I respect him checking in on us but it got to the point where it was annoying. The wings were fine, not great. And the fried pickles i would pass on next time. Super affordable though. Pros: quick service, affordable Cons: okay food, crowded, loud

Wow! Not a busy night and taking forever to bring out 5 wings! I don't know if they are good. Been waiting a long time now. 2 beers worth wait. Got here 9:30.sat at bar. Only me....its 10pm now. They are not busy.

So I am going to go ahead and give Pluckers 4-Stars. I think the Dr Pepper sauce was actually really good. Otherwise, wings are wings are wings and everyone has their own take - this place was neither worse nor exceptionally better than any other local place. Again, the Dr Pepper sauce was great. The place was pretty neat. Outdoor seating that wasn't specifically outdoors (covered patio with TVs etc), which is nice for those hot Texas afternoons, or, rainy Austin days, or, any other occasional possible that you just don't wanna sit inside. Service as fine; adequate. Like the not better / not worse remarks above, Service fit into that same category.

We enjoyed our quick service after a long day at work , was wondering why they stopped serving 32 oz beer ? But we still enjoyed our lemon pepper wings 10 piece. My husband said the food is still good and we will return. Not busy for Friday

I love this Pluckers location, specifically for the space and the waitstaff. The waitstaff here is consistently fantastic--they've never messed up our order, and the service is always spot-on. You can often tell the standout servers by 1) how many colorful pens they use and 2) there's always a new trainee following them. Some are more thoughtful than others, but from the several experiences I have had here, the best servers are those who never miss an order, have a positive, can-do attitude, surprises us with a brand new refill for the road, owns up if they make a mistake, is enthusiastic about our pups (because we always come here with them), and the final tell tale sign: signs our customer receipt with a bubbly "thank-you" and a smiley face in pink pen. Other Pluckers locations could really learn from the experienced veterans here!! The hostess stand could use improvement; they don't seem very enthusiastic about the job, but once again, the enthusiastic waitstaff compensates for their lack of energy. We always sit outside, as there's always a strange, musty odor I find common at sports bars once you step inside. Unfortunately, outdoor seating also means dealing with the large, loud parties who take up multiple tables and kids sprawled out and frolicking everywhere... As for the food, it's a great spot for wings, but even non-wing fans will find something they like from the variety of options. The flavors are bold, and imo, nothing tops the Vampire Killer--spicy, savory, and perfectly saucy!

Good food other than wings. Wings are real Buffalo wings. Crispy and not breaded. A little pricey on the wings. Not a big fan of their Bleu cheese. Good Philly Cheesesteak. They had good hot dogs, but got rid of them. They should bring them back. Service is usually pretty good. Parking can be an issue.

The lunch wait was not long at all. The food came out 15 minutes after we ordered and they kept making sure our drinks weren't empty. Never felt ignored. A Plus: Our son has multiple food allergies and the staff made sure he was provided with a meal he could eat. Top notch!! Will be back soon

Pluckers has the best Monster wing basket! Service is awesome and beer always cold! It's worth the wait. Come hungry.

I've tried so hard to like this place because I love the flavors but the quality just isn't there. We've ordered takeout maybe 3 times in two years and it always sucks. Something was either missing (like extra ranch), the wings were wrong (asked for extra crispy), or this last time we got burnt waffle fries. Like they were brown and there were very little in there. It's almost like somebody saw that they were burnt and took them out to maybe replace with better ones and either forgot or someone else closed it up. There were like four burnt fries. I make notes on restaurants to remember my favorite meals or pro tips and this is the only restaurant I have that says - "Do not go anymore." No more chances it is just always terrible.

I stood at the counter for nearly 5 minutes as staff walked by. A couple came in behind me and was quickly asked "how many?" I was stunned. Waitress returns and takes my to-go order. I get my receipt and it's wrong. I ask someone to make sure the flavor is changed, I didn't want the Jerk flavor. He couldn't help me. Said he needs to find the waitress that took the order. She's missing. My order comes out with the wrong flavor. I was done. I left with it as is. Totally unorganized and unprofessional. Side note- my order sat for several minutes. It was still wrong. Boneless wings weren't even good. And the front rug smelled like dirty mom water being covered up with cat liter. So bad.

Last time I was here was around 9 years ago. Nothing has changed and that's a good thing. Customer service was amazing. Only small complaint I had was our server was still new and he was talking extremely low. Working in a loud establishment like this you have to learn to talk louder. All the food was still amazing and the portions are still the same. I really enjoyed coming to this location.
