I recently started using Plum Benefits and had been happy with the site and discounts. However, today I received a credit for a hotel reservation I made over a week ago. Apparently my reservation was cancelled. No explanation was given. Impossible to speak with a supervisor. Overall the experience was poor. Had I not noticed a credit in my account, I would have traveled to the hotel without a valid reservation. Clients aren't won when everything goes smoothly. Clients are won when something goes wrong and a company handles the matter well.

I was really enjoying the discounts through plum benefits until they committed fraud. They sold me a hotel room via their platform but when I arrived the room was out of order (heating/cooling system broken) and hotel was sold out so did not have another room available. Hotel refunded plum benefits that night since they did not have a room for me to stay so I had to leave and find a different hotel (I followed up after that verifying the refund) however plum benefits refused to give the money back to me despite the hotel having refunded to plum benefits. After weeks of me following up with them and no response I filed dispute with my credit card. Plum then sent an email saying the hotel wasn’t willing to refund, which is absolutely false because the hotel showed me the refund multiple times to plum. Plumbenefits sold me an unavailable room and then kept my money.

Really a zero but that was not an option. Avoid the hassle and steer clear!! You will never get a link to your tickets/purchase, you will hold for hours for incompetent/dishonest customer service and then get denied a refund. Thank goodness these were only theater tickets, the nightmare would have been worse with a hotel/cruise! Warning my company and all others to avoid. This company is shady -not worth the “discount”! Order 82883405 FYI I added my order number 2 days ago on Trustpilot and I have not heard back. Looked to file a complaint with the BBB- but not surprisingly this company is not even BBB accredited. Update: Funny that you feel the need to reach out to Broadway! The delayed ticket link came directly from Plum Benefits. See the attachment.

I reserved a hotel room with 2 beds for 2 nights for 9/27/25 and paid in full on 7/25/25. I received a call from Plum Benefits on 9/23/25 stating there was an issue with the reservation. I returned the call and was told the hotel overbooked but Plum Benefits would email a list of alternative hotels within 24-48 hours. I never received an email so I called again 9/25/25 and was verbally offered 3 new hotels. They offered 2 one star hotels and a third hotel with only 1 bed - none of which were acceptable. After 1 hour and 10 minutes on the phone, I was told the alternatives were no longer available anyway and my only option was to get a refund. Which left me without a hotel two days before my trip. I think this is totally unacceptable and would never use this company again.

Hotel fees say “ fees include” but it excludes resort fee and taxes. Very deceiving until you get to detailed summary of costs which shows up AFTER you make the reservation. Resort fees and taxes added +$100 per day to total you are charged. Would not recommend booking thru Plum Benefits.

This place refuses to give me the refund I am owed due to my cancelled flight that has already been distributed by the airline itself. Very long wait time, unprofessional customer service, and overall incompetent company, it seems. I am still being forever to make payments for a trip I didn't even go on due to the flight cancellation that was out of my control. And nobody seems to know the statues of my refund. I am very frustrated and disappointed with Plum Benefits for how poorly they are handling this. I will be reaching out to my employer and warning them if this company.

Update since I can't reply to the business directly. I did file a report with Plum benefits. It is order 89233575. They said no refund because the key card was supposedly used but I can assure you it wasn't used by us! If you look at security footage I can assure you that you will not see a family of 4 in hockey jerseys! If Tropicana's policy is not to refund with cancellations then why did the lady at the front desk refund the duplicate reservation? Here is a screenshot of the fee they assessed and plumbenefit's charge showing they did, in fact, create a duplicate reservation rather than assess the original one. I am including screenshots of charges and my EZPass receipt showing we were assessed for traveling back to PA the evening of July 11. Unless you time travel, you can't be at two places simultaneously! I was scammed out of $121 after completing a reservation for Tropicana. I left both a negative review. You can read the Tropicana review for details. Buyer beware. I filed a complaint with BBB and contacting media next. Never again. Scam city

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Stay clear. They take your money. And never make the reservations and then when you try to dispute it they keep saying 72 more hours because they haven’t made a decision yet. And when you call you don’t get a person who speaks English and won’t give you a name or let you speak to a supervisor/manager. SCAM! I tried reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and they aren’t even listed!!! I reported them to my bank. AWFUL!
