Plus Prague Hostel

Decent for 1 or 2 nights. They accommodated my request and was smooth but They don't have a kitchen or kitchenette. The only thing they have is hot water kettle and microwave, no dishes and no fridge( you to ask staff to put your stuff in the fridge. No dishes it was inconvenience. Rest was all good.

We stayed at this hotel as a group and overall had a very positive experience. The rooms were nice, clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything worked perfectly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of items. The only downside was the drinks, such as the coffee and juice, which didn't match the quality of the rest. Despite that, we have good memories of our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Spent a week here with a group of Scouts. Nice big bedrooms and excellent facilities. We used the meal service for breakfast, packed lunches and evening meal which you couldn't fault. If ever back in Prague with another group, we will certainly be looking to book again.

Super friendly and nice staff, close to public transportation. They had vending machines for beverages and sandwiches, coffee and stuff like that which was great since we had to wait in the lobby after chrckout for our plane departure. The rooms were clean, warm, spacy but were missing a TV. Did not try the pool or other facilities.

I have been a guest only during winter, so my review is partial and I am sure that in summer it would be even better. Altogether the hostel is nice, pleasant personnel, the location may seem at first a bit out of reach, but it's not at all. A nearby tram stop takes you with one stop to Vltavska metro, from where you can get anywhere in Prague in a matter of minutes. The hostel itself is nicely decorated, colourful and cheerful, it would only need a bit of refreshing. Bedlinen is clean, the check-in and checkout procedure is clear and easy. You can also buy a lock at reception to store your stuff in the lockers in the bedroom.

Staff yelled at me naked in the shower! My personal boundaries was seriously violated at this hostel, and manager didn't mind his staff's behavior. What happened: At the day, where I was leaving the hostel, I had 6 hours to spend, before my bus was leaving. I was not feeling good, so I decided to stay at the hostel. I laid down on a couch in the cellar in front of the laundry, where nobody came. It was a shabby couch, where a lot of youngsters use to hang out in the nighttime - but despite of that, a woman staff came and asked me to go away, cause they didn't thought it looked "nice", that I was laying there. I therefore went up in the lobby, and ASKED THE RECEPTION to go to the sauna (cause I had already checked out). They gave me a key and I went to the sauna. But while showering, the woman from before suddenly bursted into the shower, while I was naked. She was yelling at me, saying "no, no, no" - you can't be here"! She didn't give a fuck, that I was all naked in the shower!! She yelled at me, that I should leave, and we had an argument, while I was still naked - it was incredidble offending and humiliating to me. I said to her, that she was wrong, and that I had permission to be there from the reception, but she just said, "no you cannot be here"!! After a while she left, and I was sitting back, in shock. But it didn't stop then - the 2 guys from the reception then came to me - when I was still just having my towel around me. They said, that the woman had decided, that I couldn't be in the sauna anyway, and that they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do about it. So I had to come up from the sauna again. I came up from the sauna and went to see the manager of the hostel. I heard him having a "friendly chat" with the woman just before I came. So he had already heard the story, and he was nearly laughing at me, when I came. He said to me "we work with this internly, and I'm sorry that this effects you, but there's nothing I can do about it, and you won't have a compensation!" So since the management did not take the situation seriously, I decided to take the matter further. I have contacted the European Consumer Centre (ECC), so they can have a look at the case and come with their conclusions. I definately DO NOT recommend this hostel. It clearly crosses a line. In tense situations, or even in disagreements, dignity and personal boundaries should never be crossed. A hostel should be a place where guests can feel safe and relaxed. Not a place where you have to worry about your safety. Being yelled at while naked and then ignored by management is not acceptable behavior at any hostel.

We had a great stay at the hostel. The room is spacious and clean. There's a separate shower and toilet. The staff is friendly, especially Ms. Honey, the receptionist, who was very helpful and hospitable. We highly recommend this hostel for its convenient location to attractions and good public transport connections (just a 5-minute walk to the tram). We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. 😊

Classically this is one of the better hostels in Prague and with pool, gym and sauna quite unprecedented for a hostel. It has own very hidden parking for just 200czk per 24hr. This would be perfect for motorbikers. Parking is a nightmare. On the street you pay nonstop and it's expensive. Hotel have own parking but to get there you need through external gate that is common for more organisations and internal fence gate. Both controlled by staff who is over busy on reception so sometimes getting in and out takes time. Definitely nothing like leaving and arriving quickly.

Plus Prague was a great place to call 'home' during a two-night stay here with my Contiki group. As the hostel was just blocks from a train station, it was easy to get into city center. The bar and outdoor lounge was great, with tons of seating for group hangs. The pool table was old, the sticks were worn down, but still much appreciated - something fun to do on a chill night in! The hostel bar was stocked with a full liquor list, and there was even live music one night. The included breakfast was a huge buffet of tasty options, including a variety of hot teas. The inside reception lounge was nice, and hostel staff was friendly. We had a nice big room (quad), though the bathroom was teeny as expected!

Such a nice hostel. Friends and I got a private, four-person room with out own bathroom. It is ginormous and has a college dorm feel with friendly staff (sort of like RAs). The disadvantage of staying here was the locations. It isn't near the city center, but as long as you wake up early enough to start your day, it'll be fine. There was also a pool and sauna that we didn't get the chance to take advantage of. I would suggest exchanging money elsewhere because the rate isn't that great (shop around).

Plus Prague is really nice. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5/5 is the location which is a little sketchy. It's pretty far out of the city centre in an area of town that you don't want to walk around in at night. Besides that it's a great hostel.
