Plus Prague Hostel

This establishment offers a reasonable value for money, and the staff is amiable. However, I have a single complaint regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. Despite cleaning, hair remains on the floor, and the floors are excessively wet, posing a significant slipping hazard. There is no indication of the wet floors, and the bathroom sink and shower are also found to have hair after cleaning. The shower appears to have been rinsed and abandoned without proper sanitation.

A little out of town, so you will need trams to get into town if you dont fancy the walk. The rooms are basic and have a decent shower. There is a lot to do here. Swimming, sauna, volleyball to mention a few. Staff are helpful.

Great value for money – a super hostel. You can use the sauna, pool, and fitness facilities for free. There’s a small place in the garden where you can have breakfast for an extra charge. The city center is about 5–10 minutes away by taxi, and you can get there with Uber for around €4–6. I definitely recommend it!

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want your holiday ruined by bedbugs. I stayed in a shared room, and someone who used the same bed before me found out there were bedbugs. the hostel completely brushed it off and just told me they needed to do “extra cleaning” for the room. They moved me to another room; but didn’t take it seriously at all. Later, the girl who stayed in the room with me told me she had actually seen bedbugs overnight which explained everything. (the photo attached is the one she sent me) Even after changing rooms, I woke up with SEVEN BEDBUG BITES including on my face. I reported it to the hostel again and they said they’d send their cleaners to inspect the bed. A few hours later they told me there were no signs of bedbugs- even though I HAD CLEAR BITES ALL OVER MY BODY. They still REFUSED TO LET ME CHANGE ROOMS and just offered to wash my clothes. So I had to sleep in the same room again. And surprise! the next morning, I woke up with two more bites. At this point, I tried to switch hostels and get a refund but nothing worked. It’s been over a month since my trip to Prague, and honestly all I remember now are the bites, the itching, and the stress. My holiday was completely ruined. If you’re looking for a way to turn your vacation into a nightmare - this is the perfect place.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a birthday trip and the whole experience was flawless. ||We arrived before check in and were able to drop our bags off in the luggage storage area, which was really helpful. Staff were lovely, check in was very smooth and the room was great! ||We had booked a family room (quadruple room) and had 2 bunk beds and 2 singles which was perfect for a group of friends travelling together. Everything was spotlessly clean, we even had a view of the river! I’ve mostly stayed in dorm rooms in hostels before so I was pleasantly surprised to see towels and a few toiletries were included with the room. We were able to borrow a kettle from reception so we were able to make hot drinks without going downstairs. ||We used the pool and the sauna during our stay, both of which were very nice (although the pool was a little chilly!), and we made good use of the vending machines in the living area. Having the option of having breakfast onsite is also a massive bonus (we did it twice) if you don’t want to go out, but there are loads of places to eat and get coffee close by. There’s a tram stop and a metro station a few minutes walk away that will get you to the city in 15/20 minutes so perfect if you want a quieter spot. ||All in all, a really lovely stay and I’ll definitely come back!

It was literally falling apart. The showers where almkst breaking and the receptionist didn't do anything, he was not helpful at all. The beds were carved into and on one of them there was a used bandage, clearly indicating that it was NOT cleaned well enough/either at all. I can confidently say that it is a horrible choice. Update now we were disgusted to find that my friend left her towel in the bathroom and we came back from our very exhasting day her towel had poopoo stains on it, before you think wrong it also had a long black hair on it... she is a brunette... everyone in our room is either brunette or blond. Lets start with the moraly more acceptable crime. They have entered the room and we didnt even know about it which is very wrong. Now for the crime... who does that why would they do that.

The hotel is alright, with decent rooms only with what you need and in alright condition. The reception lobby has a TV, vending machine, and a billiard table. Rooms do not have air conditioning, shampoo, and big towels or slippers for the shower. Make sure to bring those with you.

Nice hostel, great cleaniness, location and price. BUT. At the reception, after 10 hours of me driving a car, I was asked to fill the paper with not one, but two of my documents - both passport and residence permit, declare a purpose of my trip and then, after all, buy a padlock, because apparently hostel doesn't provide you with working lockers. Hilarious. Is this a hostel or a border police to break into one's privacy and ask about purpose of the trip? Then what does it take to install a locker? Do you think I have one with me at all the times?

Plus Prague was a great place to call 'home' during a two-night stay here with my Contiki group. As the hostel was just blocks from a train station, it was easy to get into city center. The bar and outdoor lounge was great, with tons of seating for group hangs. The pool table was old, the sticks were worn down, but still much appreciated - something fun to do on a chill night in! The hostel bar was stocked with a full liquor list, and there was even live music one night. The included breakfast was a huge buffet of tasty options, including a variety of hot teas. The inside reception lounge was nice, and hostel staff was friendly. We had a nice big room (quad), though the bathroom was teeny as expected!

Such a nice hostel. Friends and I got a private, four-person room with out own bathroom. It is ginormous and has a college dorm feel with friendly staff (sort of like RAs). The disadvantage of staying here was the locations. It isn't near the city center, but as long as you wake up early enough to start your day, it'll be fine. There was also a pool and sauna that we didn't get the chance to take advantage of. I would suggest exchanging money elsewhere because the rate isn't that great (shop around).

Plus Prague is really nice. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5/5 is the location which is a little sketchy. It's pretty far out of the city centre in an area of town that you don't want to walk around in at night. Besides that it's a great hostel.
