Pluscamp Saltstraumen Camping

I am here for a while and I also came from tourist region...regarding hospitality and kindness we (croats) are miles ahead(although sometimes we also have bad temper). I don't think that anyone knows some kind of kindness(it's maybe because the weather)...

We stayed here with our tent and a car. The staff was welcoming. They have a tent area with electricity and one without. The one with electricity, where we stayed, is unfortunately a bit uneven and on a slight slope. But it was ok. Facilities are in very good shape and clean. There are a lot of places for camper mobiles as well. These are quite spacious and each have a wooden veranda.

Good before entering the ferry to the Lofoten. Most camper places have nice wooden decks, as well the sanitary facilities are good. An USP is the extensive fishing equipment at the reception shop. Better buy some spare blinkers here before leaving to the Lofoten.

The most boring campsite, basically a big carpark. Clean and well organised but no equipment in kitchen. Walking distance to Saltstraumen.

Very friendly and extremely clean. The campground has everything you might need; washer and dryer are operated with coins, showers are free and they even have a room to clean your fish and a big freezer. The campground is in walking distance to saltstraumen bridge where you can watch the maelstrom from above (5min walking).

Very nice location 5min from the main attraction. Although a little pricey and very crowded you’re most likely to find a space anyways. Toilet and showers very clean and spacious with enough hot water to relax (and free of charge). Would recommend.

Large space for parking. Find your parking space before you go to the reception desk. Shower rooms don't require coins and is included in the camping fee. Wifi is more stable around the reception desk. Kitchen was a little bit crowded. The staff was friendly. Suitable space for camping if you plan to take the ferry at Bodo.

Worm wellcome even on a late arrival. Silent sleep. Walking distance to the Saltstraumen. Best bathrooms on our trip. Thank you!
