Shell Energy Stadium

Even though TSU didn’t come out with the win on Nov 1st, the experience at Shell Energy Stadium was still a great one. The venue is clean, modern, and easy to navigate. The atmosphere was lively — fans showed up with tons of energy and school pride, keeping things exciting from kickoff to the final whistle. The seating offers great views from just about anywhere, and the sound system really brings the game to life. Parking and entry were smooth overall, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Even with the loss, it was a fun day of college football and a great reminder of the strong TSU spirit. Definitely worth coming back for another game!

It's was new experience to attend d a soccer match. It was my 1st time in the stadium but it was a solid experience. It was easy to navigate, the usual concession food offerings and some familiar restaurant chains available too. Around the stadium there were stands that served adult beverages and a large bar that offered domestic and international beers, margaritas, and liquor. Honestly I didn't know what to expect but the seating was good. There are club boxes, low level seats and even the upper level seating still provides fans with a solid view of the field which almost seems like you're right on top of the field. We attended on a fan appreciation night so we got some cool Dash towels. Its loud and a very fun environment to be apart of. The time tickets were reasonable, of course any food or drinks purchased are going to be over priced, and depending on what game you attend their are some events to enhance the fan experience. Just a heads up for convenience pay for the parking in Lot C so you dont have to struggle to find parking or walk far from a sketchy area downtown to the stadium.

Spent time at Shell Energy Stadium last Saturday for a XFL team kickoff. Our Houston Gamblers will be playing at Shell Energy. The only slight I have is the location. If an Astros game is going on the same day it's going to be a nightmare. The area is too tight for that many fans arriving all at the same time. That said, I had a great time with the Houston Gamblers fans.

Love being at Dynamo’s stadium. The crowd is always amped up for the games and the energy is definitely contagious. The food and drinks are pretty good too. Better priced than most other stadiums. Leaving after a game is hell on earth though, but that’s to be expected I guess. Still, I can’t wait to go to another game there. If you’re not too tired, get out a little early and bar-hop and eat around the immediate area! It’s a good time!

Easy entry and exit, very clean, plenty of bathrooms and eateries inside.

We came here for our first soccer games and prepaid for parking like we always do for events. That ended up being a great decision because Lot C is prepaid parking only. However, getting into the lot was frustrating. There’s no actual system or scanner to enter...just a person standing there checking phones. They take your phone and verify that the parking pass isn’t a screenshot by opening Google Maps. This process took a very long time and caused a noticeable delay getting into the lot. Aside from that, the venue itself is decent. The only other shock was the concession prices $9 for a bottle of Coke is wild, but eh.

I recently took my kids here for a Houston Dash game on Kids Day and the atmosphere did not disappoint! I’m so happy the games are offered on our Pogo Pass ! I received premium floor tickets to Dynamos game. I had my 1 year old daughter, 6 year old son and my wife. Upon entry I asked if anyone could tell me how to get to my seats, everyone looked at me and said they didn’t know. I tried my best to follow the signs and finally go to the area I thought was the section. The guard told me “you are in the right area but you need a red wristband”. I ask him where can I get a wrist band, ended up getting the run around. At this point I have been trying to access my seats for 40 minutes almost missing the entire first half as I asked several employees/attendants for help. Verify poor experience.

Easy in and out. Excellent seats. Some of the best food for a stadium in the city honestly. Small businesses that are local to Houston and super tasty which is a bonus.

This stadium is bigger than some people think. You could say it has that Big Shell Energy. So we like to come and relax at one of the most beautiful MLS and Women's Soccer stadiums in the country. It's gorgeous, it just gets very hot in the summer, but that's Houston and it's part of the charm. Cheap tickets, beautiful surroundings, amazing atmosphere, best fans in the league, not usually sold out (sadly, blame SeatGeek), but get ready to sweat! My old review said: One of the best stadiums in MLS, I'd argue, and the weather here is always wonderful. It's also perfectly located in a sadly gentrified neighbourhood, right next to downtown Houston in EaDo, and really adds to its surroundings, and is nothing short of beautiful inside and out. Would not be out of place as a European Stadium, and is truly magnificent. My other review of this stadium said: Not to be confused with BDSM Stadium, which is something very different, more adult, more painful, more restrictive, for the sub anway. Moving on. Houston has a pretty amazing soccer stadium just to the east of downtown and it's beautiful and perfect for what it does, one of the better ones I've been to. I'd downgrade for the insane cost of everything (a beer is 10 to 20 dollars, yes I'm serious), but then every stadium is like that these days... they should GTFO really. But for the stadium itself.... wow. It's a shame they didn't have the stadium during the days when they were winning everything, this would have been perfect for that, but hopefully one day they will be winning everything again with this great stadium, that is like the Reliant Stadium/NRG Stadium of soccer.. it's amazing. As for the team, it's home to the Houston Dynamo. Not to be confused with a murder plot against an orange-white Clownfish in America's 4th largest city (Houston Die-Nemo). Houston is one of the classic teams in the league, even though they secretly stole San Jose away from San Jose, and changed the Earthquake name to Dynamo, to reflect the industrial energy nature of the Houston economy. I'm a fan of a team and I think they do a good job, and are a main fixture in the sports scene of the city, which isn't really much of a sports city to be honest, and none of the Rockets/Astros/Texans get an immense amount of love compared to other regions, and the Dynamo holds its own to some degree. It had some great success in the past and long may that continue. They need to get back on the wagon and be a top team, and I hope they can get the support they deserve to go with their amazing stadium close to downtown. And yeah this stadium gets hot AF in summer, but it's all good.

This is a nice stadium. Every seat is a great seat. Free Wi-Fi to guests and so many food options. I'm excited to go to a Dynamo/Dash game this year. New this year- 10 restaurants inside the stadium. Don't go unless you want a Houston dynamo fan to jump you. Whether they win or lose they are always looking to hurt the Austin fc fans. This is the third year in a row an incident takes places after the game due to Houston dynamo fans not knowing how to act as a normal human being and accept the L or enjoy the rest of their night.
