The Po Sah Inu Cham Towers in Phan Thiết are an incredible glimpse into Vietnam’s ancient history. These towers are remarkably old and beautifully preserved, showcasing the architecture and culture of the Cham people. But there’s much more here than just the towers—you’ll also find a Vietnam War memorial and, at the top of the mountain, old French bunkers that offer amazing ocean views. The site is rich in history, with layers from different eras making it a fascinating place to explore. The views from the mountain are stunning, especially as you look out over the coastline. Entry is just 15,000 VND, which is a fantastic value, and there’s free parking in a large lot with easy access from either Phan Thiết or Mũi Né. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a scenic outing, this spot is very cool and worth a visit.

Poshanu Cham Tower or Po Sah Inu is also called Pho Hai Cham Towers. This is a group of ruined temple remains of the ancient Kingdom of Champa. The relic is located on Ba Nai Hill of Phu Hai Ward, about 7km from the center of Phan Thiet City to the northeast. The attraction of Poshanua Cham Tower as well as that of other Cham towers is the sophistication in unque architecture and art of ancient Cham people. It was built 1,200 years ago. However, there are only three towers remaining (main tower, medium tower, and small tower). Inside the main tower, there are stone altars of Linga and Yoni. They are the symbol of Shiva with many carved and sculptured patterns reflecting existence and growth of Cham reproduction. In some documents, there was a stone bull in the medium tower, but the stone bull disappeared. Today, these towers belong to Cham villages of Ma Lam, Ham Tri, and Ham Phu. Annually, local people from other places come to Poshanu Towers to conduct religious ceremonies. This relic is a famous attraction in Phan Thiet. For tourists, visiting Poshanu Cham Tower is one of should-not-miss things to do in Phan Thiet. During Kate festival, at Poshanu Cham Towers, the atmosphere here is so exciting. Cham group hold important ritual customs and featuring festive activities. Tourists from everywhere come here to visit, explore and admire traditional features of Cham culture. Particularly, when popping in Poshanu Cham Tower, tourists have the opportunity to see many unique and fascinating Cham ceremonies and dances. Also, fishermen in other neighboring areas come here to pray for safe and peaceful voyages. Every year, in Rija Nuga and Poh Mbang festivals, a large number of local people come here to pray for rains, and good things.

Smaller than Mỹ Sơn complex, bigger than Nha Trang Po Nagar but not so well cared for. Buying an entrance ticket for 15.000 VNĐ you get a combo of beautiful path to the hill overlooking the lagune, gift shop run by Cham ethnic minority, Cham Hindu temples (2-3 buildings) dedicated to princess, to Shiva, and then the monument in the memory of the liberation forces attack on a French garrison in 1947, capturing 35 French troops and one machine gun. Further to the cliff there is a small tower standing, the remains of a French house once owned by Bảo Đại, the last emperor of Vietnam.

The Po Sah Inu Cham Towers in Mui Ne offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s ancient Cham civilization. Located on a hill, these towers date back to the 9th century and are dedicated to Hindu gods, showcasing the intricate architecture and artistry of the Champa Kingdom. Though smaller and less crowded than other Cham sites, the towers’ red brick structure and detailed carvings make it a peaceful and historically rich destination. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, including Mui Ne’s coastline, while exploring the serene grounds. While the site is relatively quiet and not heavily commercialized, it provides a unique opportunity to immerse in Vietnam’s cultural heritage. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and enjoy the site in a more tranquil setting. Entry ticket per person is 15000 VNĐ

Nice place to see Chăm culture relics. These are significant Hindu temples. But not that Indian Hindu, but an ancient, unique Hindu of Chăm people. Pretty interesting and should be on your list if you are nearby

Interesting place with some history. For the best photo, just before car park there is a sign on the right leading to some steps - go up about 50 metres and you will see an arch with a beautiful view of the towers.
