Food was good!! Come to find out one of the owners are from down here in New Orleans! And the prices were so cheap/ affordable! Even the potato salad was good (lol)🤷🏾‍♂️ the beignetsTastes just like new orleans style beignets!

So surprising! I couldn’t believe my own taste buds, but I was eating the very best burger ever. It is so surprising because I’m a lot in Nashville in Memphis and barbecue joints are my go to places but this one was one of a kind. I just went one time early August 2025 and I cannot say if this is consistent through time but the BFM burger was out of this world. Coleslaw was absolutely delicious also. This place is saved in my own account and whenever in Athens, I’ll be back there.

This was my second time in Greece—and my second visit to Po’ Boys! The first time was two years ago. I was hot and tired from walking in the June sun and just wanted something quick to eat. I grabbed a basic cheeseburger to-go… and wow, it was amazing! Soft bun, juicy beef, and packed with flavor. I even took a photo of the packaging so I wouldn’t forget the place. Fast forward to now, I came back—this time with my sister—and we tried the Holy Cow burger with smoked beef, caramelized onions, and a mix of other tasty ingredients I can’t quite remember. But it was super delicious. The menu has a lot of cool options and unique flavors. Prices are affordable, portions are big, and the staff is super friendly and polite. If I ever come back to Athens, I’m definitely stopping by again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

Food was tasty and prices were reasonable. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich with potato salad as my side. The chicken sandwich was delicious with a nice slaw. The potato salad is on the sweeter side, I think they added some barbecue sauce on top. All in all a very solid restaurant if you're craving some American food.

Nachos and burgers better than we expected. Worth to visit and taste. Thank you very much. We will be back definitely.

The pork belly is a must, really flavourful. Mac and cheese also was reaaally good and the chicken was juicy and tender.

I really enjoyed the burger and the Corfu Special Red beer, a great combination! The one in the picture is the Oklahoma Fried Onion Smashed, which was delicious, but my favorite is definitely the Double Smashed Cheeseburger. For burgers in Athens, this place is easily in my top 3!

I'm straight from Texas and I swear the brisket & pulled pro might be better than most I have had in Texas. I would highly recommend you get the mashed potatoes and gravy too! We kinda stumbled upon the place and we were so excited to find a place that felt like home back in West Texas. We also tried the fried chicken and the cheese slider. Fried chicken 10/10 and I would probably opt for the actual burger if I went again. Such a great experience from decor to service. If you want a break from European/greek style food you have to go. If you are local and curious about good BBQ you have to go! Also get a reservation. It was completely booked and I think we got lucky we even got a table. Prices are more than fair and to be honest I am getting hungry again writing this review! Love love love Po Boy BBQ!
