Incredible space, staff, and location. Honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The loft apartment was massive and so well decorated and the staff were super helpful throughout my entire stay. I can't say enough good things. As of March 2025 I heard some construction noise throughout the day but this was very minor and I think some reviews are really exaggerating. Stay here, you won't regret it. My third time coming here and we absolutely love it. I usually stay more than two weeks and it always feels like home. The staff and I mean ALL the staff are wonderful. I love it because the area is safe and close to everything and everything is CLEAN. I truly love Poetry Building and we will be back as always. This is a true gem. Gracias a todos por siempre recibirnos.

This is my second stay at the Poetry Building. It is still a gem. 1 BR apartment with tiny but well stocked kitchen (including coffee filters, coffee, tea, S&P, O&V. Had two balconies on two different levels. First visit was 8 years ago and hasn't changed. Still a nice, small rooftop pool with honor bar and an organic rooftop garden that guests can use (only herbs available in late February, but still nice for my eggs!). Wonderful laundry service -- a medium sized bag for $8 (no itemizing) returned same-day. I've sent friends and relatives here, too, and they've been as impressed. Nice people. Great location close to great cafes and restaurants (Roux and El Burladero). The only thing I wish they'd improve is building access. You have to have a key to enter or exit, and the keys themselves are quite heavy to carry around all day.

We love Poetry Building. We have just stayed there for the fourth time and after 5 weeks driving around Argentina, we agree that it is really the nicest place to stay in the country. The apartments are exceedingly comfortable with good kitchens and bathrooms. We love the furnishings and the fantastic taste of the building. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful, especially Carlos, who deserves a special mention. Poetry Building is very discreet and well situated in Recoleta within walking distance of very good restaurants and our favourite helado shop. We would never stay anywhere else in Buenos Aires.

Guess a bit unfair but if travelling Feb 25 there is construction work going on which a reviewer here said was excessive. We booked for 3 nights but were informed the noise would be minimal. The reviewer seems more credible than the hotel. Beware. We cancelled as got the same answer on noise when we went back as we had on originally booking.

This is one of the nicest and most unique places we’ve stayed in our travels. |A truly unreal ambiance with eclectic decor with a modern touch!|We splurged for a loft room over the studio (which looked excellent also)! |The loft bedroom was unique and romantic. My wife loved it!|The kitchen was handy, and there are a small market and bakeries literally right around the corner), making it just a quick trip out in the morning for a sweet treat and Lattes for the room. ||The thing that really “made” our stay at the Poetry Building was the people that work there.|They were so helpful with giving us a few suggestions for things to see, what’s close (walkable), and what’s worth the trip across town for. Recommendations for culture, shopping, restaurants (steaks), and sweets (pastries). |Our trip was quick (3 days, and we had rain during them ☹️) but the staff gave us great ideas (and umbrellas!) that made our trip awesome! ||We had no idea this was the #3 hotel in BA on trip advisor, we just found it online and booked it!! What a hidden gem! |THIS PLACE IS THE ONE TO BOOK for your Buenos Aries trip. Stop scrolling and book it!

When looking for a landing spot in Buenos Aires, I was having trouble finding just the right place, until I saw a recommendation for Poetry Building! I am so pleased with the accommodation we received here! The location is so convenient, close walking distance to Recoleta mall, historical sights, restaurants, and transportation. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The service began before our trip with emailed information and recommendations. It was so helpful to us to have safe, secure transportation from EZE to Poetry set up through the hotel, especially since this was our first trip to BA and we arrived late at night. We received recommendations for where to exchange money, too. The hotel upgraded us and even provided a bottle of wine! The accommodations were comfortable, with a king size bed, kitchen, and living area. The common areas including the reception area, small pool deck, and garden terrace are beautiful and welcoming. I highly recommend Poetry!

Very likely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed. The Poetry Building is a beautiful and tastefully renovated boutique hotel on a quiet street in Recoleta. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, clean and transit connected. The staff at the hotel was communicative, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and stylish and there are two wonderful rooftop arrangements where guests can sit and enjoy the outside. We loved the hotel and look forward to our next visit.
