Stayed at Omah Apik hotel in Ubud for 2 nights and had such a great relaxing time. ||From check in, throughout our stay and at check out all staff were very friendly and accommodating, always smiling despite their limited English skills. ||Room was very nice, lovely decoration and a decent size (twin bed room), with comfortable beds and pillows, powerful shower with continuous hot water (half open air bathroom with wet room style shower) and decent air con. WiFi didn't work in our room and was very weak and intermittent throughout the property. Lots of areas around the property to relax during the day and in the evening. ||Breakfast was adequate and we ate our evening meals there both nights, both times with very nice food. Lunchtime snacks were also fine and food was inexpensive. ||Drinks are available and you simply note down what you have taken from the room fridge or fridge in the restaurant. There is also a convenience store opposite the hotel with drinks and snacks at a bit cheaper price. ||The location of the hotel is not close to anything, other than a few small temples and lots of rice fields. The view from the infinity pool area was super with such a nice sunset, so relaxing. There is also a walking trail through the rice fields, 15 minutes apparently but it took us more than an hour. We did get lost but it added to the fun. ||I'd recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here if in Ubud again. I wish I could have stayed longer this time as it was such a relaxing place to be. ||Look out for the pet chicken, never have I seen such a loyal chicken who follows the staff everywhere!

I came to Omah Apik 7 years ago with a group of friends. When my husband and I decided to go Bali, I thought of staying there again. It is a great place to stay, quiet and relaxing in the midst of padi field. We came by a hired car and we managed to get around using grab and go car. Trip to ubud is about 40k one way so it’s not bad. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit dark. The shower was outdoor. The breakfast was simple and good, it was just and option of organic toasts with butter and pineapple jam, options of pancakes, eggs or muesli and options of fresh fruits or smoothies. They do put a lot of efforts in recycling and being environmentally friendly. We did Balinese massage which costs 150k for 60 minutes. The massage was good and relaxing but the spa room was dusty and in need of some cleaning. We did have lunch in the hotel and it tasted good. The pool overlooking the padi field was amazing and we had an afternoon dip. They do need some replacement of the poolside cushions and tables as they were pretty worn out. Overall, it was a great stay! Don’t forget to also check out their pet chicken that greeted when we first arrive and sent us off!

The Omah Apik is a hotel that I believe trades on its excellent position ie pool looking over the rice fields and ignores some basics. We stayed in a standard room which was pretty dark and drab the bathroom whilst open air was the same and butted up to a brieze block wall. Towels were ropey and not replaced during our three day stay. The area around the pool was wooden decking and in places was rotten with the ends of the boards rising up as the screws had nowhere to bite. It was also splintered in places and it will only be a matter of time before someone gets injured. We ate their once and compared to the two restaurants we tried on earlier nights in Ubud which were excellent this was way inferior, the menu was very limited indeed to around 10 items and of those at least three were not available. The breakfast was of good quality. Alcohol on site was limited to beer but there was free tea, coffee and water. We had some washing done and it came back still dirty. The hotel is also isolated about 8 miles from Ubud meaning a taxi ride or scooter hire to get there, this may suit some people as if you just want to sit on your sun lounger and admire the sublime view over the rice fields then this is the place but thats about all. We could not get Bluebird Taxis to come to the hotel and had to use the car provided by the hotel which was twice the price. Staff were generally pleasant and friendly and the room was kept clean. The thing that saves this place is the view, and as regards what we experienced it needs a major refurbishment.

It's a beautiful place to stay! I really loved it. It's right next to the rice fields - perfect for enjoying the sunset. The rooms have a beautiful design as well. Staff is super duper friendly and the food tasty. They even offer a shuttle to Ubud market (It takes like approx. 15 min.) I can highly recommend this place.

A good place to stay. They have a breathtaking ricefield view. Fabulous. Sound of wind, birth was so lovely. Pool is cool edgeless to the ricefield view. Room is so comfort with rustic and traditional theme for their toilets, also public area such as lobby. Some times this place held an event like musical or art. At that time this place maybe a little bit busy but worth to enjoy. Enough space for parking. Village feel for their footpath with stepping stone is so lovely. Don't forget when the sun goes down, enjoy the the view and relax your self.

I was greeted by a friendly guineafowl on arrival he followed us to our room. What a great start. This is a family friendly hotel and in the morning I was happy to see a couple of friendly chickens free range walking around the place . The resort has a lovely feel and I really enjoyed my stay here. The ricefield views are awesome some of the best views I have seen in Ubud. The infinity pool spilled out onto these ricefields and it was simply glorious swimming in the beautiful large pool. I stayed in the large deluxe suite and overlooked the trees and the pool. The breakfast was excellent with fresh wholemeal toast and real New Zealand butter and home-made jam. It’s a very peaceful place and if you have work to do, all rooms have lovely wooden writing desks. It’s a lovely stay.

This is a very tranquil place to stay, a place where you will feel sad to leave when its time to go back to reality. They served organic foods and such an amazing hospitality. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and ethnic.. just perfect. This is a place to recharge your self with all the positivity surrounds it. The location is not that distance from the Ubud city center and the staffs are very helpful if you needed anything to make you comfortable. We will definitely go back to Omah Apik in our future plan 😊
