Point Arena Lighthouse

Such a cozy and thoughtful place! The hosts prepared firewood and kindling for the fireplace, and the house had everything we could possibly need. The views are absolutely breathtaking — endless space, the sound of the ocean waves, and that fresh sea breeze. You can just sit for hours watching the sunset and listening to the surf. It’s a wonderful place to relax and recharge — everything you need for a truly cozy weekend.

We stayed in Keeper House #3 for 4 nights in March. It was fantastic! Such an amazing location, with epic views of the ocean. Our house had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and full kitchen, which was perfect for our group of 6. The weather was chilly and damp so we made good use of the space heaters in each bedroom and wood stove in the living room. All areas were clean, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and utensils, beds were comfortable with extra blankets and pillows available. We also enjoyed the gift bottle of wine and chocolate samples. Highly recommend staying here and also visiting the B Bryan Preserve. Outstanding!!

Dropped in Sunday morning to get another stamp in the lighthouse passport. Point Arena has a fun history, and the tower climb was well worth the extra 5$! The fresnel lens no longer sits in the lantern room, and since the new beacon is mounted outside, they've turned their lantern room into this intimate space from where you can look out and see for miles and miles. The stairs to the top of the tower were relatively easy going, but the steep stairs to the lantern room were definitely a little tight. The view from the balcony that sits below the lantern room is well worth walking out on after the climb. 10/10!

I was unhappy about the entrance fee until I met Arena Mena, the lighthouse cat. Shes adorable. Great views of the coast, great place to take pictures next to the lighthouse.

This is the point Arena lighthouse. There were about 5 cottages, but we did stay there. Ours was a day trip. Love watching the birds, especially the pelicans who were nesting in the large formations around the lighthouse. Love their little museum and gift shop.

Worth visiting , don't miss the light house tour . If you're into shell collection, lighthouse museum have beautiful ones . If your lucky , can spot whales

Charming historical lighthouse with great views and a cute gift shop. We got the tour and Benjamin was a great source of information! Would love to come back during him back whale season.

This is the place to see beauty of pacific. Whale watching with naked eyes is amazing. Light house tower tour is dont miss one.
