The Best Turks and Caicos Resorts of 2024

"A repeat winner in the World’s Best Awards — with mentions in 2021, 2022, and 2023 — Point Grace is a great option for those hoping for a boutique experience as well as access to Grace Bay Beach. With under 35 rooms, this is the kind of place where you really get to know the staff and your fellow travelers; you’ll see one another at breakfast (included in the nightly rate), the fitness center, the beach, or while dining at Grace's Cottage. Though the suites are sumptuous, guests may find themselves unwilling to sleep in — instead, opting to get up early to take advantage of the complimentary kayaks, Hobie Cats, and stand-up paddleboards." - Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel is a freelance writer with over eight years of experience editing and writing for both brands and online publications—with a particular focus on travel, fashion, and lifestyle. "Its location on a relatively undeveloped stretch of Grace Bay Beach, and an atmosphere so subdued that guests sometimes feel they ought to be tiptoeing, make Point Grace a haven for people who want no sounds but the lapping of waves, and, occasionally, a recommendation from a waiter. The 28-room resort has a modernized British Colonial style; the roomy suites feature a full kitchen and washer/dryer; there’s an excellent, if small, spa; and the restaurant is romantic enough to encourage marriage proposals, or reinforce that they were the right thing to do. But guests looking for a party atmosphere, or whose pleasure is to see their kids happily splashing in the pool, might want to look elsewhere."

Point Grace – Hotel Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Why did this hotel catch your attention? What's the vibe? This is Turks and Caicos at its best: white sand beaches, electric turquoise waters, and sunshine pretty much every day of the year. The moment you step onto this exceedingly quiet, 33-key, all-suite property, you can feel your tension just melt away. What's the backstory? Point Grace is the boutique offering from Grace Bay Resorts, know for the posh Grace Bay Club and the more family-oriented West Bay Club . Tell us all about the accommodations. Any tips on what to book? The style here is very much inspired by British colonial architecture, with lots of dark mahogany woods, marble floors, four-poster beds, and shuttered windows. Each room here is furnished with antique accent pieces—those looking for sleek mixology bars and infinity pools won't find that here. But don't be fooled by the old-school decor, these rooms are outfitted with all the contemporary comforts of home: washers and dryers, full kitchens, and spacious living rooms to unwind after hitting the beach all day. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi? No charge for Wi-Fi, but much like the architecture here, it appears to be from the last century. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at? Breakfast is included in your rate. The colorful cushions and al fresco spaces at Hutchings Restaurant make it a relaxed and enjoyable place to have lunch (try the conch chowder and the reef fish tacos). Come evening, make a reservation at Grace's Cottage, a quintessential Caribbean fine dining restaurant where you can order from an extensive wine list and enjoy a locally inflected Caicos Bouillabaisse as palm trees flap in the wind. Thanks to its plum location on Grace Bay, Point Grace is also close to a number of other resorts and restaurants if you want to call a taxi and get off-property for a night. And the service? Since there are only 28 suites on this property, it feels like every staff member has the freedom to learn your name, memorize your drink order, and anticipate your every move. Special shoutout goes to the warm and welcoming drivers who bring you to and from the airport (transfers are included in your rate). What type of travelers will you find here? Because of the array of multi-bedroom suites, you will find multigenerational groups, but families with young children might be better off at one of Providenciales' larger resorts. There are signs around the property and especially by the pool encouraging quiet, so it might be unsuitable for rambunctious youngsters. What about the neighborhood? Does the hotel fit in, make itself part of the scene? Grace Bay is a pretty developed part of Providenciales in terms of proximity to other resorts. That being said, it's entirely possible to spend the duration of your stay on property here and never feel like you have to leave. Those in search of connecting with local culture and exploring new neighborhoods might find more adventure at some other Caribbean islands. Here, it's all about unwinding at the beach. Is there anything you'd change? How much longer are we going to glorify colonial architecture? Any other hotel features worth noting? The spa is pretty divine, and includes a European-style thalassotherapy spa. The treatment rooms also come with French doors, which can be opened during your service, so you can enjoy a fresh sea breeze during your massage. Bottom line: Worth it? Why? It's a less pricy option as far as Grace Bay resorts go, and it feels stuck in a very singular point in time. But that being said, if you're just looking for the essential comforts of home and a good lounge chair by the beach, this is a good option that eschews the bells and whistles of a larger resort." - Todd Plummer

This was our second stay at this property!!!! Again, we had an amazing stay! The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Our room had all the amenities you will need. It’s super clean and we loved hanging out at the pool and balcony on the comfy furniture, and swimming in the pool which offers both sun and shade! The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is included. Point Grace is so peaceful and quiet! Loved the location as it was within walking distance of many of the restaurants and the grocery store! Oceanfront doesn’t get any better than here… the water was the highlight!

I loved my stay at Point Grace more than words can describe. It’s perfectly quaint and charming if you’re looking for something other than the tacky high rise typical resort. It’s situation perfectly near town so you can walk or bike for morning coffee. The pool is fabulous and the beach service was also exceptional, but the staff are what really takes it over the top! Every single one of them treated us like royalty and quickly became friends. I already want to come back!!

We took a family trip with our adult daughters and son in law. It was our first time to Turks and Caicos. Point Grace is a boutique hotel and was very quiet this time of year., which we appreciated. We loved that we could enjoy the pool or the beach with chairs/umbrellas set up for us with personalized service. Our rooms were very comfortable. The water was amazing. Our visit exceeded our expectations and we plan to return.

My adult daughter and I came to Turks & Caicos to celebrate her birthday and had a lovely time at Point Grace. Locresha was delightful - she checked us in, gave us a tour around the resort and checked in with us each day to make sure we had everything we needed. Service overall was very good, Daily breakfast was delicious and our dinner at Grace’s Cottage lived up to the reviews we read. It’s a smaller quieter resort so that’s what you are looking for, you will really enjoy it.

Just got back from Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands where we stayed at Point Grace Resort & Spa and it was absolutely phenomenal. We really enjoyed it. The view was amazing!! Very quiet and relaxing, although it’s not advertised as adults only it’s typically an all adults property. Breakfast was included - buffet or a la carte - your pick. Plenty of options. In our way in, we stopped by IGA Grace-way Supermarket and picked up some beverages of choice to have on hand. Grace’s Cottage restaurant on the property was a delicious and romantic option for dinner. There were many fabulous restaurants within walking distance from the property as well not to mention shopping at Salt Mills Plaza for our souvenirs, I truly enjoyed our trip!

You know you chose the right place to stay when everyone you meet on the island says, “where are you staying?”, and they add that Point Grace is their favorite place and where they tell anyone who asks to stay there. The grounds are beautiful, the food exceptional, and the service made us feel like family. It’s small enough that there’s always a place to relax but enough people to meet at the pool bar. Such a great time!

First time on the island and first week of our stay was at South Bank a sister resort. We are avid travelers and really enjoyed the serenity and esthetic of South Bank (5 star property). We didn’t have high expectations of Point Grace since it’s a boutique hotel, 4 star and dated. Our first part of our stay was a bit rough as the room wasn’t in dire need of renovations specifically the bathroom. Had a few hiccups with the air not working, being pretty uncomfortable and mosquitos in the room. These things go back to the owners and they need to invest money into renovating the property as it needs it. Again, this is an owner issue and should be resolved asap for the price point of a stay nightly, there’s no reason these things should occur.||However, I’d like to note that Lee (manager) and Roy (front desk concierge) did everything possible to change our rough to start to a better ending. They both were amazingly attentive and kind, and I thank you for this. It shows that the people here make the resort because the resort from just looks doesn’t do it.||Raynard and all the guys at the beach were also great! They made beach days so much fun and daily we looked forward to seeing them all. The housekeeping manger and the other ladies were too great! Roland at the restaurant was our waiter and we enjoyed speaking with him. He was knowledgeable of the menu and kind as well.||This is to name those that made the final|Part of our trip perfect and reset our bad start to a great ending. Although, we’d probably not return to this resort until it’s renovated as we enjoy a more up to date resort, we would be remiss not to mention that kindness of these staff members that turned our frowns upside down. If the owner is reading this, please note that your staff especially those listed here make your resort what it is. Treat them well because without them your ratings wouldn’t be what they are. Thank you again for everything. It is appreciated!||Mr. & Mrs. Wilson
