Point State Park

Great place to see the 2 rivers form the Ohio River. There are no guardrails to protect you from falling into the rivers. Very windy, so securing your personals is a must. There are shaded walkways to enjoy some botanical insight and learn about the local vegetation. Great place to run, jog or bike. Security makes there rounds frequently. Nice open space to play it have a picnic, but can be very crowded. You can hear and see the stadium from the point.

I was pretty disappointed that the fountain wasn't working on our visit(Monday, May 19). But, it's still an absolutely stunning area to soak up all the great views of Pittsburgh.

Excellent for walking and exploring many of Pittsburgh's historical sites including Fort Pitt and Duquesne. A lot of native flora and fauna.

Beautiful place to walk, kayak, and see some historical sites. Can’t use the bathrooms in the museum unless you pay to go to the museum. There are bathrooms though farther down in the park

I have a lot of memories in this place. Point state park Absolutely Beautiful park to walk around. We parked in downtown and then just walked to the park it’s was hard a little bit to find parking close. The fountain looks really nice. This park is perfect to see all the sights around the three rivers of downtown Pittsburgh.

Great views, historic location. Start (or conclusion) point for an epic bicycling adventure. Feels like the heart of Pittsburgh. Check it out!

Visited the Fort Pitt Museum. Wonderful tour guides!! Many boats on the rivers, people biking sitting on blankets in the park and children playing. The fountain is turned off for repairs, but beautiful day to be outside! Love our city! ❤️

Great place for walking and biking. The restrooms are clean also. I just wish there was a nice coffee shop where you can grab coffee,water or refreshing drink for the walk

I've been to this park more times than I can count and each time is just as special as the last. I was excited to take my gf here for the first time and show her its sheer beauty and she fell in love with it just like I had many years ago. The day I took her my Steelers happened to be playing a pre season game to which always makes being at the point that much better. I will always cherish this place :)

This park is one of my favorite parks ever. It's a gem and I have to bring everyone who visits here. You get such a beautiful view of pittsburgh and it's always so chill here next to the rivers. The fountain is on most of the year and is beautiful too. I love that you can walk along the triangle and end up next to the bridges. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a nice day out or if you're visiting town and trying to see what pittsburgh is all about.

Despite being one of the most iconic spots in Pittsburgh, I feel like a lot of people don't think to visit. It can be nice to look down over the rivers from Mt. Washington, but Point State Park is a peaceful place to stop if you'll be in downtown Pittsburgh. History buffs will enjoy the Fort Pitt Museum, and anyone will enjoy the grassy lawn and sitting by the fountain to get a breeze off of the rivers on a summer day. Consider grabbing lunch to go from one of the local spots downtown and heading over to eat by the water. Just don't be surprised if a few ducks or bunnies are eyeing up your fries.

Beautiful scenery. Nestled on the heart of Pittsburgh where the three rivers join. Amazing views of the city and the ballparks. Clean ground. Well maintained. Beautiful fountain. Always people there weather walking on their lunch break, riding bikes, or sitting and doing art, it's a true nature treasure enjoyed by many walks of life. Fort Pitt Museum is also located in the park that's open daily. If you're in town it's definitely a sight to see. The North Shore is just across the Fort Duquesne bridge with many dining options . Highly recommended.

There's an inexpensive paid parking lot on Commonwealth Place about 0.2-miles south of the South Point Park. There's probably a small amount of street parking on the side streets, but we used the parking lot. There's also a dropoff area on Commonwealth right up next to the park, with some benches where we waited for those who parked. About another 0.2-miles into the park, you'll find a snack bar, Café at the Point, on this side of the underpass. Grab an inexpensive cool water or soda, and maybe a snack, and continue another half a mile to the fountain at the fork of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers. Most of this walk across the park is in the sun, but there's plenty of trees around the sides for shade, where many people picnic. There's also a shaded path along the Allegheny River. There's a number of benches along the waterfront, some with shade. After playing around the fountain, and flying a kite in the open space until we crashed it, we sat along the Allegheny, listening to a concert from the Acrisure Football Stadium across the river, and watching tour boats and all sorts of private crafts, many pausing for the free live music. It's quite pleasant. I suggest some planning for anyone with limited mobility, as it's a bit of a hike.

parking nearby for an event, we wandered into the park after figuring we might as well explore the area since we already paid to park all-day it was a beautiful location to discover; as visitors to the Pittsburg area, the park offered some of our favorite views, walking along the varying portions of the river, hanging out near the water on a bench, taking in the quiet ambiance - lots of bikers, runners, and other picnic goers very clean, well maintained, the fountain wasn't on at the time of our visit, but so much else to see- we enjoyed viewing bridges & city skylines from varying angles a wonderful location (if parking was a bit easier this would be my go-to spot)

Walked through the park with my girlfriend and down the path running along the water. Such a nice view of the water and scenery. It can lead you to one of the inclines to get those fantastic city pictures.

At a geographically distinct location at the confluence of rivers, this stretch of land offers views of the cityscape, gets you close to the water, and has a splendid pedestrian tunnel under the highway to keep everyone in their separate space. A fountain and a historic fort are among the highlights, but it's also just an easy place to wander around.

Stunning park, very peaceful, highly recommended. The best views of the large part of the downtown! Additionally, the Allegheny and the Monongahela meet to form into the Ohio River. Parking is easy, Walking on our own was a lot of fun!

After being in the area for close to 2 years, I finally had a moment to check it out with the rest of my family. We even checked out the museum. The museum was well laid out and very clean. The staff that greeted us at the door was helpful and nice. The surrounding park has spectacular views of Mt Washington and the stadiums. It was well kept and felt like a get away from the bustling city. We went in the late morning and it was not quite packed yet which was nice.

While visiting Pittsburgh I wanted to go see the Point State Park Fountain, so we headed out to Point State Park to walk around and take in the sights. It's a beautiful area to walk next to the water and view the bridges, fountain, and park itself, which is a National Historic Landmark. If you're visiting Pittsburgh, I definitely recommend taking a stroll through Point State Park!

We went there for few day's over the Fourth of July weekend last year, got to see amazing firework display outside of Hotel window, their Restaurant upstairs is absolutely amazing and the food is fantastic, you can hop the Gateway Clipper too.

just like Duquesne incline, this park is the face of Pittsburgh. it is in the heart of Pittsburgh, the "Golden Triangle" at the junction of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers. At the tip of the triangle is Point State Park, with one of the country's largest fountains, symbolizing the birth of Ohio. In more recent times, the park was integral to the rebirth of Pittsburgh's downtown from the 1950s through the 1970s. Point State Park was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975 and is listed on the National Historic Register of Historic Places as part of the Pittsburgh Renaissance District. The tip of Point State Park features an 800,000-gallon fountain that sprays water 150 feet into the air. The park hosts many of the city's signature events We came here at dusk time and it was a nice place to relax, watching children playing, kayaking, and boat tour. Great spot!

Nice park to visit and people watch if you are in Pittsburg. Located where several rivers connect you can see boats, a gorgeous fountain and a historical landmark all in one place.

Point State Park is located at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, forming the Ohio River. It's located at the top of what is called "Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle." The views are great. You can walk along a portion of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and take in views of the rivers. The Point State Park Fountain is also worth a visit - fountain in front of river views! It's a little bit hard to find parking nearby the park (especially if there's a football or baseball game about to start - that happened to us), but the views are special and the park is worth a visit if you're nearby.

If visiting Downtown Pittsburgh for the first time, allocate some time to visit this relaxing park. A short stroll around the perimeter offers waterside views with sights of bridges, including the Fort Pitt Bridge, West End Bridge, and Fort Duquesne Bridge. A couple of historic landmarks, such as the Fort Pitt Block House and Fort Pitt Museum, are present as well. At the tip of the park is the Point State Park Fountain. It is an impressive sight of water jetted 150-feet up to the sky. The fountain is scheduled to be turned on at 8 AM, although was a few minutes late the day of my visit. A picturesque spot especially with the Ohio River and city landscape in the backdrop. The Duquesne Incline can be seen running from here. I reached the park with an early 15-minute morning walk from the hotel. The area was clean and felt safe. A police car was even patrolling around. Most of the people there were walking their dogs, jogging, or biking. The park itself is not that large and so I spent less than a half-an-hour.

One of the first things I think about when I hear "Pittsburgh" is Point State Park. People that live in the city AND people in the suburbs all know (and love) "The Point"! This is one of my favorite parks and public green spaces in Pittsburgh. Point State Park is accessible by walking or biking only. You can park in a garage or get free street parking after 6 PM, and walk right in front of the Wyndham. The park is well maintained and there are benches surrounding the large grassy area where you can find people having picnics, playing frisbee, or sitting and reading on a hot summer day. Once you walk under the little overpass, you see the Fort Pitt Museum and the Point fountain in the distance. Many people don't realize that there are little trails between the grassy area and the Allegheny and Mon rivers. It is very peaceful to explore the little trails and see/smell the flowers. There are also public restrooms that are kept super clean right along the river. Once you get to the fountain, it is usually a little more rowdy (kids running around, many tourists, people jogging). This is my perfect place to take a blanket and relax. There are a few trees if you are looking for shade, but for the most part it is exposed to full sun. "The park commemorates and preserves the strategic and historic heritage of the area during the French and Indian War (1754-1763). Point State Park is a National Historic Landmark. DCNR works in collaboration with the Heinz History Center and the Fort Pitt Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution to interpret the history of the Forks of the Ohio. The location of Fort Duquesne is marked by a granite tracery (outline) within the Great Lawn. The center of the tracery contains a bronze medallion depicting the fort. The locations of four of the five bastions, projecting parts of the fortification, of Fort Pitt have been delineated." Make sure to check out Point State Park; especially if it's your first time to Pittsburgh!

One of the best places in the entire city. Pretty wild that it's only been a Pittsburgh staple for a few decades! I love the atmosphere here as well as the panoramic city views at this beautiful fountain. Especially cool in October when it's pink!

Point State Park is where the Monongahela, Allegheny & Erie Rivers merge. The attractive lush park, amphitheater, forts and a large fountain comprise the park but it's the views that are the star. The stadium, incline and city & many bridges are visible from here.

Who doesn't love this staple of Pittsburgh? It's nice to drive a Segway nearby. It's pretty at night or day. They have festivals.

One of my favorite spots in all of downtown! Easy walking distance from most of the large office buildings and with great views of the Southside and North Shore areas. I come for the solitude on my lunch break and while there are often lots of people milling about it's always pleasant and relaxing.

Point State Park is a great city park! It's located in an iconic location in Pittsburgh and there are great views of the city everywhere you go. There's a decent amount of green space, and I love the fountain at the end. There is some parking available (paid) or street/metered parking. I wasn't able to stop by the Fort Pitt site but would love to in the future as it's an interesting piece of history.

Point State park is a tiny park and an ubran one at that. There's a fountain and the park has historical significance. You also have a nice view of Pittsburgh that can provide a momentarily refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. A nice place to come for a little break and there's metered parking close by.

We went in the freezing cold, beginning of December! It was nice to walk around and clean as far as I could tell in the dark! Looks awesome with the Steelers game going on in the background

Beautiful in October and the leaves were changing colors and falling. The area was clean and safe.

Day two of the 2021 celebration of music, food and fun in honor of Juneteenth. Great live music from legendary bands and performers of past and present fame!

Point State Park is a can't-miss oasis of lush greens and historical importance in downtown Pittsburgh. It's home to a massive central fountain, Fort Pitt Blockhouse, plenty of clean benches, and other attractions. I visited in April but it felt like August. Despite the heat, I spent a considerable amount of time in the park, taking photos of flowers, trees, and the fountain from every possible direction. It's also cool to check out the convergence of three rivers -- the Allegheny, Monongahela, and the start of the Ohio River. I don't think I've ever seen something like that before. Because of its proximity, it's easy to walk to shops downtown (I did not), or across one of the bridges to another part of the city. That's what I did, since I was limited on time and wanted to see the Mexican War Streets, Southern Tier Brewing, and the Andy Warhol Musuem (which were all a short walk away). I'd say this park is a good starting point to get ahold of your surroundings or to just relax.

Such a big, beautiful park! We visited during probably one of the busiest times of the year, and it was very clean and the view was amazing! There's a huge fountain that's near the waterfront, which was so refreshing to see on a hot summer day. There were A LOT of people on their boats just hanging around too, which was cool to watch. Aside from the scenery, I really enjoyed the walk along the water - definitely a gorgeous place to be in the summer.

After a day of sightseeing in downtown, I managed to get to Point State Park just as the sun was setting. This made for a bit of a spookiness since there really isn't a tremendous amount of streetlighting here in the park. Because it was Small Business Saturday, my parking was free on the street. There's also a spendy paid lot. Here at PSP is where the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers meet and form the Ohio River. They two rivers drain a big piece of the Appalachian Mountains from the areas of upstate New York and from West Virginia so it's a big and wide river. If you're lucky, a tugboat pushing a barge will be going past. Great views of the city that can't be beat from river level!

I sure love going out to the Point. There were a bunch of people out today, being that it was Memorial Day and the first unofficial day of "summer". Boaters were out, the fountain was on and the sun was hot. The point is a perfect spot to hang out by the fountain, people watch, go for a walk/run, ride your bike, watch the boaters out on the river, have a picnic, read a book, play frisbee, walk your dog...the list goes on. There's a large grassy area near the fountain and then another large grassy area closer to the street. There's a lot of goose poop in the grass, so be sure to bring a blanket. It's a bit of a walk from any parking area to the fountain, but you have the option of parking on the North Shore and walking over the Fort Duquesne bridge, or just finding some parking downtown. There's a public restroom and water fountain by the fountain. Even with all of the people out today, it didn't feel over crowded and everyone was respectful of other's space. We rode our bikes down from Millvale and had a little "picnic" near the fountain. The area was clean (the river still needs work) and police and park rangers were patrolling regularly.

Great park located in the north shore of Pittsburgh. This is down by the stadium in the bridges and all the awesome places down there has fountains and a lot of good photo ops definitely worth checking out when you're there

Gorgeous gorgeous views and nice paths to run/walk throughout. I was a little sad the fountain wasn't on while I was there - the river had flooded and silt had mucked up the fountain's workings. However, this park is amazingly well maintained, safe and clean. It was a nice surprise to happen upon historic Fort Pitt. I only regret I didn't have time to go through the museum. All in all, Pittsburgh is a city of surprises and the gardens/trails/parks are a big part of what is so surprising.

This park did not disappoint. Large with many trails. I came on a Sunday during a Steelers game so it was pretty than busy but cool. Everyone was very friendly and lighthearted. I'd suggest anyone visiting Pittsburgh to check this park out, there's a lot to see.

Great park with the main focal attraction being the fountain at the end of the Point marking the end of the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) rail trail used for cycling, walking, and rollerblading. Amenities include: a large grassy area where you see people throwing various balls/frisbes or just sitting around enjoying the weather, benches along the riverfront to view the convergence of the three rivers -- the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio, restrooms with flushable toilets and running water, bike racks, the fountain already mentioned which spews water 150 feet into the air, an outdoor café to quench your thirst with a few tables, a garden with markers identifying some trees and plants. Residing here are also the Fort Pitt Museum and Blockhouse. A small sampling of the views from here include PNC baseball park, Heinz football field, The Monongahela Incline, and the Carnegie Science Center. Festivities here include the annual Three Rivers Art Festival in June (a free arts event to see visual art and hear musical artists) and the annual Pittsburgh Marathon Finish Line Festival in May. You can definitely drive and park your car along the street or in one of the nearby garages. However, we like to ride our bicycles starting from the Waterfront in Homestead and bike the approximately 10 miles to the Point along the GAP trail. Note that a wee bit is on streets/sidewalks nearing downtown but Sundays are ideal for tooling around downtown. We usually ride to the fountain then head to Market Square nearby to dine outdoors. Our hotel was across the street so we wondered down. This is a great space to ride a bike, run, or just sit with your coffee and watch the river. They have a beautiful fountain and reflection pond. While we were there, there was a large sand sculpture. There are clean restrooms and there was also a vendor selling popcorn, slushies and other things that make ppl happy. A little jealous of this park and that is saying a lot because my city is pretty good at the park game.

I have been to Point State Park in Pittsburgh several times over the various years. This past visit I was pleasantly surprised that the Block House was opened and the fountain in the park was going in full force. This was the first time that I was able to actually see the fountain flowing freely and it was so gorgeous. It definitely made for a wonderful photo opportunity, especially with the river so wide in the background and the Heinz Football Stadium in all its NFL glory in the sunlight. I also was able to go into the Block House for the first time as well, which was FREE and very nice to visit. It also serves as a Gift Shop and has some literature about the history of the building including photographs and history about the park and Fort. I was able to get some wonderful photos of my daughter, Noel and her boyfriend, Adam, plus sneak a few of my hubby in the background without him noticing. The flowers in the park were very lovely so of course I had to take a few snapshots of them as well. Just a little north of the fountain, in the grass or yard area, there is an outline of the original Fort Pitt in the cement stone. In the center of the Fort outline is a seal incased in stone as well. My daughter and Adam was walking over it before they realized what it actually was. I stepped to the side and could tell it was the Fort outline based on the four points that jetted out in each corner. This was a nice treat but there should have been some signage so people could realize what they are walking over and around. History buffs like myself, tend to notice things like this but others who are interested or could be interested might and probably do...they just pass right over it. Another great thing about this park...it is FREE !!! There is a nice river walk area paved along the river with benches for resting. This is a great location to enjoy the river and the scenery on the opposite banks. It allows great views of the incline on the other side of the river. I will definitely visit this park againe when I am in the area. I highly recommend anyone living in the area or visiting Pittsburgh to visit the park..a great location and a great time to be had by all. There is also a museum on site. It cost $7 per adult to visit the museum and see all the historical photos and read all the information about the area and Fort Pitt that once stood on this location. There is also a gift shop and bathrooms in the museum building. The ONLY NEGATIVE thing that I can comment on this lovely park, it has NO FREE PARKING available. You are at the mercy of paid parking either at a lot close by or a meter. If you ride the subway, there is a subway stop close by within walking distance for your convenience. I highly recommend going to this park, but again it is my personal opinion that is worth the visit. I am definitely going again when I in the vicinity.

Point State Park is an incredible lush green space that has a lot of interesting historical landmarks or stunning visual eye candy to keep you occupied for quite some time. I was quite surprised on how large the park is and how much you can see from all different angles. It's a fairly easy walk from the downtown core and the walking paths are pristine and wide. You can step back in time when you step into the Fort Pitt blockhouse and get a sense of what soldiers must have felt ages ago. Lots of beautiful Instagramable shots here ... especially with the Daughters of the American Revolution gate with the huge American flag in the back. The park also has had the 3 rivers all at one spot and you get a feel for how big the rivers truly are. We were here after the rain and you can definitely see them reaching towards the top of the concrete river edge. You also have great views of the Duquesne Incline, the Science Museum, lots of bridges, Stadiums, and the skyline with PPG building just dominating the view. I loved how you can also trace the outline of the old outer wall.. they laid stone down into the ground to show where it once stood. Just a warning ... the green space is like a big wet soaked sponge after a downpour. It may look dry .... buuut no. It's just a big puddle pretending to be grass. Lastly, the Point State Park fountain is impressive. Beautiful and large, it's the perfect backdrop for a selfie or enjoy the cool mist on a hot summer day. We saw many people just sit on the ledge enjoying the sun ... including a few people forgot their sunblock and their shirt. I guess Pittsburgh citizens doesn't mind being a little ... ok a lot red. Great city park and one of the more impressive ones ... definitely recommend to check it out to either admire the views or just sit and relax. Just remember the sunblock!

Point State Park has a long history in Pittsburg. It was once home to Fort Pitt, but now serves as historical site and park. Point State Park appears to be the heart of Pittsburg. The view is nothing short of spectacular. The focal point is the fountain. The Fountain is awesome and much larger in person than it appears when photographed. The weather this past weekend was really warm, so we found ourselves looking for shade after about 40 minutes of hanging out near the fountain. Even though there is signage asking people to stay out of the fountain, we saw people dipping their feet in and also sunbathing in their swimsuits near us. If you've researched Pittsburg, you'll probably notice that this park tops the list of all tour guides including AAA and Trip Advisor. Worth a visit if your hanging in the area. There's probably no better view within the city.

I stayed at the Wdym hotel across the street it's really nice with a large open lawn where they gave conservative with a great view of the river and city. The main attraction is the huge fountain at the point of the park. If your in town it's interesting to stop walk around and read the history of the park.

I realized I was whining about the fountain not being up and running in my 2011 review and it is ABOUT TIME to update! The fountain reigns again... Although with intermittent issues. But that's par for the course of anything that's running on massive powers lines and gets flooded every couple months. The park is just gorgeous though, and they've done such a good job since the remodel of keeping it that way. I love the big open paths to walk or bike in. There's plenty of seating to enjoy the nice weather, whether it be at the fountain itself or around the park in general. Plus, there's public restrooms and porta-potties brought in for big events. One thing I do miss is having concerts closer to fountain on the other side of the tunnel. I heard they wanted to not have that part trampled as much, but that may be just a rumor. It's still just a nice perk to have outdoor concerts in that park at all! I love attending the festivals down here, but of course most of all, the Three Rivers Arts Festival. We truly are lucky to have such a beautiful park be the crowning jewel of our three rivers!

I mean what Pittsburgher hasn't been here a gazillion times in their life? I've so many fond memories as a child, teenager, art school student and adult. Whether walking along the river, splashing at the fountain or attending a festival or concert, it's always been a fun time. It's just so cool to have a park of this caliber in the city. So much history.

This place brought me pure happiness. A fountain, a view, and a piece of history. All things that comprise of a 5 star review. I visited with my friend John where we strolled down the waterfront to Point State Park. We were talking about how much he would love to bring his boyfriend here since it was so romantic and laughing about our good times over the last 10 years of our friendship starting in college. Visiting this park was the highlight of the visit offering a spectacular view of the entire city of Pittsburgh where we could look in all directions with the city above us. The 'Point' is the location where all 3 rivers connect in Pittsburgh - The Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio. This was a perfect place to establish a fort for defense. Both the French and the British occupied this space just for that purpose. When we were down here, there were tons of people getting engagement photos taken. We saw at least 5 couples all of whom were getting their photos taken by the big fountain with all different perspectives. This is a solid spot for all instagram/snapchat/facebook picture narcissists. Do yourself a favor and please check this place out when you are in town or if you are a local - soak it up and appreciate it for what it is.

In a busy city like Pittsburgh, it's refreshing to have a wide open green area to get away from the chaos of downtown. There aren't a whole lot of features here, but there are great views of the bridges and Fort Pitt Blockhouse, as well as several paths to take. If you're in town and need a place to escape for a bit, I recommend Point State Park!

Point State Park is the perfect place to start your Pittsburgh adventure. The fountain makes the perfect photo backdrop. The park is filled with locals and tourists. This park is the centerpiece of Pittsburgh. From here you can walk across the yellow bridge to the Duquesne Incline, but it's a healthy walk. Great view of Heinz Park.

Wonderful public park in an historic location at the confluence of the Mon, Allegheny, and Ohio rivers. The centerpiece of the park is the well known fountain, plus the remains of Fort Pitt and Fort Duquesne. There's the old Fort Pitt Blockhouse from 1764, which is the oldest remaining building in Western Pennsylvania. The park is the site of the Venture Outdoors Festival, a free celebration each year of outdoor activities, as well as the Three Rivers Arts Festival and the Three Rivers Regatta. It's a welcome break from downtown, and a chance to walk around, view the boats and the rivers and relax. Definitely bring a frisbee. Near the fountain is a marker that indicates the end of a 350 recreational trail that begins in Washington, D.C.

After dinner at Butcher and the Rye, it was a lovely and quick 5 minute walk to Point State Park to check out the sites here. Unfortunately in the dark, you really can't make out the remnants of the French fort that was once there, and is outlined in the ground, but it was still lovely to enjoy the breeze coming off the river and see the kids running around. When I visited in Sept 2016, there was an interesting art piece in the park - these 6,514 storks, each representing a baby that had not been aborted #mixed feelings. One feature of the park I particularly liked was how the highway overpass over the park was turned underneath into this amazing reflecting pools with these halogen light bulbs that created beautiful, magical mood lighting under the bridge. It's a pretty safe park - lots of folks around and there was a police car driving around as a deterrent, so definitely check it out! Note: #343 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

I decided to walk around Point State Park for lunch and it was a lovely day in Pittsburgh. This park is always full of walkers, joggers, bikers, exercisers, etc. It's lively with music, kids, and animals. The fountain is magnificant as the centerpiece of Pittsburgh! Just glorious. Then at the entrance you should tour the Fort Pitt museum! Fort Pitt was built during the French and Indian War and fabulous! Pittsburgh is loaded with history and a great outing! ENJOY
