I am giving this hotel 5 stars primarily for it's service. Cami at the front desk is so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Lovely person! Even though the weather was partly terrible we had a fabulous stay. The location is a short walk to most of the attractions. Easy check in and check out as we were able to pull car up and we were able to grab complimentary parking not too far away. The rooms are small but are very well laid out and have shelving and hooks. The bed is very comfortable. We will definitely return again!

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Pointe Isabelle in Chamonix. The hotel has a fantastic central location- just a short walk from the train station, with easy access to the main streets, lifts, and some beautiful hiking trails. The room was modern, clean, and sort of quiet considering how close it is to everything. Only downside - the blue light coming into the room from the terrace is very unpleasant, ruins the aesthetic and peace at night.

I had an excellent stay here an would definitely stay again! Extremely convenient location right in middle of Chamonix, very comfortable rooms, and excellent service with a luggage room where I was able to leave my things while checking out for a night to stay in a mountain hut. They have a usable gym and breakfast is decent, although perhaps a little expensive but still not a bad deal. The one caveat with this place is it can get loud on weekend nights due to various bars nearby, and this is worse if you visit in summer because you might need to open the balcony door at night to cool down the room. So definitely bring ear plugs!! This was only a major problem on my first night thankfully, and the front desk does offer ear plugs if you forget This is a great place to stay!

Beautiful hotel in Chamonix. Front desk was very friendly and allowed luggage storage before and after our tour. This is a G Adventures affiliate hotel, so lots of tour travelers coming through. No refrigerators or air conditioning the room. So ask the front desk to store your temperature sensitive items. And for a fan during hotter days. Room had a patio that opened to a lovely mountain view. Located in the center of Chamonix, would highly recommend.

The hotel only has three stars but should have four. We paid extra for a room (fourth floor) with a view of Mont Blanc. When we arrived, it was raining. The following day was clearer and the following morning it was crystal clear. They only have SIX parking spaces, which must be booked in advance. The nearest car park is 45 euros a day; one farther away is 22 euros a day. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent although we ordered cocktails, starters, wine, and mains. We expected everything to arrive in that order, but it came wine, starters, cocktails, and then mains. Breakfast is 16 euros and was disappointing. There was only one type of cheese and the hot food - sausages, hash browns, streaky bacon, scrambled eggs - was rarely replenished. When we got down to breakfast at 8.00, every table was littered with dirty crockery from previous guests. The reception and bar staff were friendly.

The restaurant is great! Food was amazing and the service was great. The staff were super welcoming and we enjoyed a delicious well cooked highly recommended cheeseburger too.

Our group of two families stayed at Pointe Isabelle in mid-February for a ski trip. The rooms were comfortable, the location is amazing - right in the center of everything, and we reserved a parking spot in the garage (you must reserve). The garage parking was very convenient, but spots are tight, so I would not bring an enormous vehicle. We purchased the breakfast the first day, but did not purchase it for any other days, because it is gross. The only eggs were cold, hard boiled eggs, that looked days old. The fruit was actually rotten, and none of our family of 4 liked the food....and we're not picky people. It was just that bad. There are really nice cafes around with much better breakfast for a better price. The bar downstairs closed pretty early and was never loud, even though I read that it was on previous reviews. Overall, a good experience, and worth the money.

Stayed at Room 404 Summit Suite with balcony and sauna. Nice big corner room at the top most floor with 180 degree view of Chamonix. Large toilet and bath area. Sauna is for one person at a time only. We were told that rooms on the 4th floor are newer. Hotel has a great location. Train station is about 200m away. A supermarket is located conveniently across the hotel. Very walkable to most areas of the town. Did not ski but they have a storage area for your equipment at the basement of the hotel. Only complaints would be — no slippers, not yet smart tv (no access to netflix etc) Visited Late February 2025.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel before hiking the TMB. Had great service. WiFi was fast and breakfast was really good. They have a storage room where you can leave luggage if you come back to the hotel after the hike. Prime location to nearby restaurants. The bus station is a 15 minute walk.

Yelp
Stayed somewhere else, but went to eat there with a family group of 12. Excellent food, adequately priced. Excellent and more important friendly service. We repeated the visit during our stay at Charmonix as the value of money spent for high quality food and service we did not find elsewhere in the vicinity.

Yelp
Let me do a pros and cons of my stay... PROS: Great location in the heart of the city amongst all of the restaurants, shops, and bars. Easy parking right in front of the hotel (don't use the tiny underground spots). If booking a room with a Mountain View - it's gorgeous. You see the mountain tops and all of the long, bustling street. Beautiful. A nice rooftop view and large hot sauna (not jacuzzi) on the top floor. Quick access to the train and bus stops and only a ~7 minute walk to Aguilla du Midi & Montevers (sic). CONS: Somewhat blah front desk/staff. Not that welcoming. Slow WiFi. Parking is not explained - if you've never used a system where concrete pillars drop down after you put in an access code you'd be confused out of your mind with where to go and how to navigate, as I was. They don't explain about all of the roads around town being pedestrian only so it was frustrating driving around and constantly having to reverse and detour unexpectedly. The rooms are hot temperature and even with the door to the outside cracked a few inches in February (15 degrees Fahrenheit), I was restless at night trying to sleep (must've been 75-76 Fahrenheit in the room). The last part is about the "double bed OR two single beds" nonsense. I booked thinking I'd have a Queen or at least a double bed. It ended up being two single beds cinched together. So you have a division / crack going down the center length of the bed, with two comforted overlapping. It's two separate beds, don't like the photos fool you like it did me. So as a nearly 6'0 / 220 lb male I had to sleep in a single bed designed for a child, basically, or risk sleeping across a crack and further wrecking my back for snowboarding all day. The bed was not comfortable at all, the thick microfiber comforters were not breathable in the slightest bit, my legs were sweating and I had to keep kicking the covers off since it was hot in the room. The pillows were terrible. Very cheap feeling. I can't say if they are firm or soft, just awful. Definitely not down or feather. Some cheap microfiber crap that you'd pay $10 USD for at Walmart. Also, they do not have any preparedness kit for guests - meaning I had no idea I'd need a specific travel adapter to accept a US plug to charge my phone. I had boughten one for Switzerland and apparently it's different in France. The hotel rummaged through a shoebox of an eclectic collection of various chargers and ports but did not have one that would fit a US plug. I had to traverse the city to find an adapter in the city and somehow landed on one within minutes of closing otherwise I would not have had a working phone during my stay. This is something that should be a given in any international destination hotel. OVERALL CONSENSUS: The view/location is fantastic. I truly felt like I was staying in the heart of the city/valley. If you're not a particular sleeper as I am requiring a set/consistent/controllable temperature and are impartial to your bedding type then I'd say this is an excellent spot. If you're ultra picky with sleep and like it cooler in your room you'd prob not get too well of a sleep. For only one night it was tolerable but I wouldn't last a few days here as I didn't really get that great of a sleep tossing and turning and it negatively affected my energy and stamina the next day on the mountain. I'm not sure what the deal is in Europe and why they are so overly concerned with being "green" and don't seem to think people want to sleep in the cool. Save the planet stuff and forget your comfort.

Yelp
I was really impressed by bar on zeros floor. It is very fancy and they have life music at evenings. The rooms are pretty much OK. Our room had no hairdryer, but everything else was good. I should say it is a good place to live if you are planning to spend ~90 euros per night.
