We were in the oceanfront units so I can only speak to those. Best view I’ve ever had in Hawaii. We usually stay in a resort but this was much better value and convenient. Fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. It was great to make our own breakfast and not blow $50 on resort eggs. Pool was a bit sad and yes, people park across the street and play music which is kinda annoying but not a deal breaker.

Could’ve stayed a month! The units are independently owned so they are all different. We booked through Parish Kauai unit 59. It was gorg, I would recommend the two floor sea front units. Amazing views and whale watching…sleeping to the sound of ocean waves. The grounds were well kept, assigned parking, quiet relaxing pool. Walk to the beach. Hawaii sunsets galore. Great location to shops and restaurants. The onlyyyy thing to note is the road - it’s great for people watching, a few loud cars accelerating unnecessarily, but overall didn’t bother us too much. Would definitely come back.

Just returned from a week at the Parrish Poipu Kapili Condos and it could not have been any better!! The location was great and the unit was outstanding. Everything that you could possibly want, when staying in a condo, was there. This property is extremely well kept up and we appreciate that. ||The unit was fully furnished with upscale furnishings throughout and I can't imagine there being anything else you would need. Well, maybe there is one thing and that would be beach towels. You have only one beach towel per person and for us, we would like to have at least 2.||There are lots of beach things here, chairs, umbrellas, mats etc. so no shortage of beach supplies. The kitchen is extremely well supplied and not full of a mix of junky things like we have experienced in other condos we have stayed at.||The bed was very comfortable and it was convenient also having 2 bathrooms. Parking was marked for the unit and parking was right in front of our unit, so nice and close.||This was the second time we have rented from Parrish, different properties, and we have nothing but good things to say about them for both of our stays. From the time I first booked the reservation, to the time we checked out, all of our communications were excellent. We were always kept informed of any notices and information needed before arriving, during our stay and when ready to leave. Excellent service for our rentals. For what it is worth, I would not hesitate using Parrish again for our next rental.

Poipu Kapili has been a long time family favorite, having stayed there many time over the last 25 or more years. Usually we stay in Building #3 in the middle units (14-17), but we have stayed in the Penthouses in Building #5 (43-44) and while we loved the Penthouse units, especially the large lanais, we enjoyed even more the lanais in Building #3 to be able to pop in the pool easily and pop back out. The grills are at the pool as well, so that is convenient.||The units are some of the largest 2 bedrooms in Poipu and we love the townhouse configuration. The resort is impeccably well maintained and the front office staff couldn't be more helpful, friendly or accommodating.||We love the location, it is a very easy walk to both shopping centers and the beach in front of the Sheraton and is mostly quiet since Ho'onani Road isn't a very busy street. We feared the Koloa Landing resort would make the area busier and noisier, but it really hasn't since the KLR traffic uses Poipu Road.||Parrish Kauai now manages many of our favorite units, and they have done a really great job in seeing the units remain updated, and refreshed. I can't say enough good things about this property.

We have a decent size group and it was not easy to find a condo that could keep us close. They were great to work with the condo's are great. This is a great place to adventure out from. The he landscape is beautiful and well maintained. The pool area is kept clean and open and not always packed. The Internet has worked great allowing for streaming abilities.

Stayed in unit 55. The unit is lovely and well equipped. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers were thoughtfully provided. Beautiful view and grounds and a great location right across from the ocean. So why the two star rating? The unit is oppressively hot. There is only loud free standing AC units in each of the bedrooms. Their built in thermostat never read below 83 during the day (79 in the morning after running all night long) and the downstairs was nearly unusable even with two fans running non stop. The unit has a great washer and dryer, but using the laundry dryer was nearly impossible due to the extra heat generated. Unfortunately, I cannot recommended this property without an HVAC upgrade by the owners. Hawaii is hotter than years past, and trade winds don’t seem to cool things down like they used to, so full house AC is essential

My wife and I just stayed in #32 at the Poipu Kapili and it was a terrific experience. There is a wonderful view out the living room veranda of the beautiful grounds, including the swimming pool and beyond that the waves breaking on the ocean (see picture). We used the veranda and the raised patio furniture every morning for breakfast as it got the day started reminding us of the beauty of living next to the ocean. The condo itself has been recently renovated and has air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. It also has two big screen TV's, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The furniture throughout is tropical and very comfortable. The mattress in the bedroom is new and very comfortable and there are great showerheads in both bathrooms. The kitchen has been upgraded and has a large refrigerator and the range looks brand new--and of course there are all of the appliances to live comfortably for long stays. Overall #32 is a place that I would recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay in beautiful Poipu, Kauai.

Yelp
We have stayed at this property about five times now. The biggest problem is the lack of air conditioning --while there is a portable unit in the bedroom it can barely keep up with the heat and the rest of that house can get up to 85° and muggy. We asked owner to bring another portable AC unit in but they denied it (unit 18). The property is located in a very beautiful place and the grounds are fantastic. Units are good but dated. I would stay here again if I could find a unit with central air conditioning, which I believe they might have. We called the rental manager (Parrish) to change units, but they said they had nothing else available. although the place looks half empty. They suggested we use fans which only works to more hot air around. This has been a disappointing trip regarding our unit and we paid over $6000 for 10 nights.

Yelp
Positives: great view of the ocean, great pool, nice clean grounds, clean condo, fully furnished with all you need in the kitchen. Washer and dryer. Great location. Cons: baby lizards also love to shack up in these condos. We found a total of 3 in the condo, one in our bedroom, air conditioning didn't work properly (owner had signs that it could not be turned lower that 73) that's if it even went on at all. I went to the front office to ask for extra pool towels and the lady working was not very accommodating or friendly and told me 4 towels are plenty since they provide only the amount of towels provided for guests, even though we had 5 guests. big con: was told the day before we left for our trip that ALL of the power would be turned off during one of our nights during our stay. Which meant NO fans or air during the night which lead to a restless nights sleep, again I went to the office to complain and the unfriendly woman told me there was no compensation for the inconvenience since the power outage was out of their control ( it was the city who was doing work on power lines)

Yelp
My husband and I stay at Poipu Kapili whenever we visit Kauai. This year we took our family along so we rented one of the larger units (#43). We normally do not travel in June, but did this year to accommodate our grandchildren's school schedules. The condo was great but took the full brunt of the afternoon sun. Unfortunately these condos do not have central air, only small units in each bedroom. The unit in the master bedroom was completely overwhelmed by both the size of the room and the intense sun in the afternoon, which led to some very uncomfortable nights - super disappointing especially considering the cost! I can't understand why this complex doesn't install central air. The grounds are beautiful, the pool area and views from the condo are spectacular, but hard to enjoy everything when you don't get a good night's sleep.

Yelp
Gorgeous property along the water. Each unit is individually owned, so each is decorated uniquely from one to the next. We stayed in #47, it was modern but cozy. Lots of tan or earth toned furniture, comfy couches, accommodating bathrooms, and large cozy bed! There's a full kitchen with any kitchen tool or dining accessory you would need. We found a cute gecko in the sink one morning! The 2 bathrooms were updated and one included a washer and dryer! Views from the condo were spectacular. There's a straight shot to the water, and classic palm trees. The lanai was is complete with table, chairs, and chase lounge. Across the street folks gather to watch the sunset over the water. But you could always watch it from the condo or lanai as well! We will be back someday. :o)

Yelp
I have been coming here since 2000, annually since 2007. It's the best place ever. I don't like crowds and revel in being alone in the pool in the middle of the day. The Staff is great, the units have everything you need and the location can't be beat. Kid friendly, quiet but allows for chaos. You can walk to beaches, restaurants and shopping.

Denise C.

Yelp
I'd love to give this condominium complex 5 stars as it is beautiful and in a great location however, there is so much noise on the beachfront road at night that makes it so disappointing. There are people partying, doing donuts in the road, screaming, etc. Forget about enjoying the sunset or relaxing. Because of this I would never stay here again. It isn't worth it.

Yelp
My friends and I stayed for a whole week March 2019. We were in unit #32, a one bedroom. Now if you are thinking, it's a one bedroom, it's going to be small... you're wrong! The place was huge. There were 5 of us and we had ample room for all of us, as well as sleeping arrangements. There are 2 bathrooms each with a toilet and a shower. We had plenty of towels and sheets for the bedding. There were even towels for the beach/pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen supplies. We enjoyed cooking meals and eating together at the large dining table. Now let's not forget to mention the view! Breath taking! This unit is on the 2nd floor and over looked the grounds, pool and out to the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, having a cup of coffee, eating breakfast and watching the waves crash. Not only that, but there are lots of neat little birds that come to visit and hang out in the trees with the geckos. (Please note, they were on the balcony, not inside. We did NOT have any trouble with any creatures, bugs, etc. inside.) The condo was inviting and felt like home. We had WiFi that worked, there we 2 tv's, one in the living room and a smaller one in the bedroom. The bed in the bedroom was so comfy and while it wasn't very warm while we were there, we did use the in room air conditioner which worked very well. The washer and dryer was an added bonus for us and we took full advantage of it daily! The location in Poipu is perfect. We walked to the beach, walked to dinner at the Plantation Gardens, walked to get drinks at the Sheraton. And it's a perfect location to head down to the shore and watch the sunset with the others who came out to watch as well. We will definitely be back and will stay at #32 for sure!

Yelp
I can not gush enough about what a great place this is. It has to be the perfect location in Poipu. It is very quiet being just "ewa" of the Sheraton, but still walkable to the Poipu Shopping Center (Roy's, Keoki's, Blue Ginger, Whaler's General, etc), the new Koloa Landing (Bubba's. Lappert's, Merriman's and more) My family's unit (#14) was a two bedroom, three bath with a wash/dryer in the unit. Our lanai over looked the pool and out to the ocean over a beautiful lawn. The beach was a short walk away. I had other family with me too (we were all here for a family wedding at the Grand Hyatt) and some stayed in units #12, 43 & 56. #43 is a two bedroom "suite" that is great for people who don't like stairs because it is all on one level and it has two huge lanais. I like being on the ground floor, but the views from the lanai in #43 make me want to try a suite sometime. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful, what a great bunch of people. One morning they did a meet and greet poolside with coffee and morning pupus and we were able to meet our fellow guests which was great because we actually made friends with several of them and did a couple of meals with them. I am a big time luxury hotel fan, we stayed at the Grand Hyatt our last trip, but I can't imagine where else i would ever stay on Kauai now. Poipu Kapili is it.

Yelp
Home in paradise. I'm never staying at a hotel or resort again! This place offers all the comforts of home in a condo by the ocean. Unlike hotel suites, there's everything you need from beach chairs to food spices and an herb garden. The only downside was no AC except in the bedroom but we knew that walking in. With our stay in May, it was perfectly comfortable with the screen doors open to give a cross breeze. It's only been 1 day and we want to come back again!

Yelp
My husband and I chose Kauai for our honeymoon. We made the greatest decision, especially staying at Poipu Kapili. We had such a fantastic experience along with beach front views, gorgeous grounds, and a well stocked unit. Unit 32 is well kept, has an amazing view and allows the conveniences of feeling like you are at home, with the appliances, comfort, and available resources. The unit even has a washer and dryer as well as a cooler and beach chairs. The staff was very courteous and made sure we knew all the great things to do like tubing, snorkeling, great restaurants, and local beaches to visit. So much aloha. Definitely plan to return to the island and Unit 32. Owner keeps great care. Mahalo.

Yelp
My family of 5 stayed at Poipu Kapili condo #51 over spring break in March 2016, and we are sure happy we did! These units are all privately owned, so you may have a different experience with each unit. This review is specifically for #51. Directly across from the ocean, and the crashing waves will lull you to sleep every night. The unit itself is very well cared for, clean, updated very nicely, and simply the best location in the entire complex. The salt water pool is steps away, and the best beach ever is in front of the Sheraton, just a 5 minute walk. The sunsets are spectacular from either of the two lanais. Full kitchen, dining, laundry, etc. You won't need anything else. Both suites are upstairs with their own bathrooms. There is also a bathroom on the main level. My wife and I had our 3 children ages 14, 12, and 11 and we all had the time of our lives. Boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach toys are all included. Shopping and eating establishments are all a short walk away as well. I won't ever stay at a hotel again. We arrived at the airport, grabbed the rental car, stopped at Costco for groceries, drove to the condo, unpacked, and hit the beach. We cooked breakfast and dinner at the condo, but ate out for lunch. That'll save you a bunch of cash. The owner of this unit is the best, and he follows through on answering any questions or concerns immediately. Super service, super location. You'll be happy you stayed at Poipu Kapili #51. It'll be a dream vacation! I can't see anything being better than this unit.

Yelp
We stayed in Condo 14. The best description of the decor: Magnum PI's residence, without the Red Ferrari. 80s feel, Hawaiian themed decor with fake plants in every corner of the rooms, old... Although, the whole setting is conveniently designed for a family on vacation. Except for the two stories condo, which I should have thought about when booking this place knowing that I would have a toddler dying to go up and down the stairs with no safety gate in her way! Feel like grilling? Gotta share the grill. It's "community grill" at Poipu Kapili Resort. Grills are set up for you every evening at several designated place, at first come first serve basis.

Yelp
After staying at a condo at Poipu Kapili, we are spoiled. I don't think we will ever be able to stay at a hotel again and be perfectly happy. We had a complete kitchen with all the utensils and cookware, a private patio, grills, living room with Wifi, private laundry facilities and all the comforts of home. We didn't even need to leave our condo to have a relaxing trip. The furniture was modern, stylish and comfortable. Each condo is privately owned so there are differences with every unit. Directly across a small road to the ocean; shopping, hotels and beaches are all within walking distance. Better than we ever expected. We will be back again.

Yelp
BED BUGS; Poipu Kapili Resort unit #26. We checked in late on 12/26/19 and went to bed around midnight. By 1-2:00 am we woke up to bed bugs on my husband. We literally pulled two off of him and trapped a 3rd. Afterwards, we looked behind the mattress and saw evidence there were more, including dead ones, blood stains, etc. On 12/27, we moved to a rental house they offered us for a few days and then a hotel. Condo had a great view, nice pool and good location, but the bed bug issue was a no go. We are now out $2,000 extra due to having to find a comparable place to stay during a week that was fully booked on the island. The house they offered us was nice, but no pool, not walking distance to most restaurants, etc. Grateful they were able to move us the next day and that they compensated us for the one bed bug night and the nights we cancelled when we moved to a hotel, but not pleased they won't refund us for the additional expense we incurred for the hotel cost. That's putting aside the fact we slept in a bed bug infested condo and pulled bugs off of my husband, had to pack and unpack 3 times, lost a day of vacation, etc. Won't stay with The Parrish Collection properties again.

Lara C.

Yelp
My husband and I have been staying here for years. While we adore the property and the units, unfortunately the management has gone completely corporate and has lost that warm Aloha feel that it used to have through the booking/staying process. Still a wonderful place to stay on the island, I just miss the personal feel it used to have under the management prior to Parrish.

Marcia M.

Yelp
Very pretty; all you'd expect for the price except one major drawback. The pool is too cold to swim in. We're here in January. Swimming is a major part of my trip and not being able to slide into a warm pool in the morning is beyond disappointment.

Bob B.

Yelp
Cam Floria took great care of us. Staying here was a dream come true in every sense. It exceeded our expectations unbelievably. We could not have had a better stay. We highly recommend!
