Tried the poke bowl, spam musubi and takoyaki. The spam musubi is very flavorful and the torched pineapple adds a lovely touch. Takoyaki is surprisingly good and better than some places that only serve takoyaki. I would recommend trying the musubi and takoyaki. Good service.

Great place for fresh poke! The owner is always there and he is super kind and generous. They sell snacks like takoyaki and fries, as well as a bunch of refreshing drinks.

Hidden in chinatown Waverly st alley is Katsu House. A small shoebox size three person bar stool seater eatery focusing on standard to trendy eats. Rest of the place is an open-air fridge, rack filled with imported snacks and self-service utensil station. The drill is simple. Study menu and order through wall opening. You can go with preset items or made per order. Surprisingly you get a choice of white or brown rice too. Service is average and wait time isn't too long. You can't go wrong for ten bucks you'll leave with a full tummy.

For a restaurant that is only open for 4 hours I'm surprised they don't prep more of their food before opening. I came in at noon and they still did not have any sushi rolls prepared. Other than that the food is good

Fresh and delicious Japanese food in Chinatown. They even made it vegan for me per my request. Comes with free miso soup too. A great alternative to Chinese food.

If you like rice or salad, this place is for you. Don't order fish, it won't come. Don't order a sauce, it won't come. Just don't bother. I don't write reviews, but this place is a scam.
