This pokemon center is really nice. They have a lot of merch, and it changes every few days, so if there is something u like, u should buy it right away. I wanted the lockation pikachu, but the staff said they haven't had those in over 6 months.. best to go early or late in a week day so it's not that crowded. The staff is really nice and helpful. Pictures are from the 2 weeks I've been here :)

This was my first visit to a Pokemon Center. It was a fun experience. The selection of Sold in Japan Only merchandise was wonderful. Be prepared to wait in line to look at items. When you are ready to check out the line can be very long. I think it was a 30 minute wait. I made some new friends in Pokemon Go. 🤪

Amazing! The staff was really friendly and they spoke good English as well. Fun to see how much gimmicks you can get here. You can also buy packs of cards at the counter.

I was excited to come here, but this place exceeded my expectations. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I had so much fun looking around and putting things in my basket. The staff were also incredible. One lady came over and upgraded by basket when she saw I was carrying so much 🤣 Checkout line is long, but thankfully, there is no line up to get in.

During our recent trip to Kyoto, we had the pleasure of visiting the Pokémon Center Kyoto, and it was an experience worth every moment. Located on the 5th floor of the Takashimaya Kyoto Store in the Shijo-Kawaramachi shopping district, the Pokémon Center Kyoto offers a delightful blend of traditional Kyoto aesthetics and the whimsical world of Pokémon. The store's design features elements like a life-sized Pikachu adorned in a kimono, reflecting the city's rich cultural heritage. The ambiance is serene and welcoming, providing a refreshing contrast to the bustling city outside. The store offers a wide range of merchandise, including plush toys, stationery, accessories, and home goods. What sets this location apart are the exclusive Kyoto-themed items. We were particularly enchanted by the special Pikachu plush dressed in a kimono, a perfect souvenir to remember our visit. Additionally, the store features a variety of Pokémon Trading Card Game products, video games, and interactive experiences like photo booths and claw machines. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting us in finding specific items and providing information about limited-edition products. Despite the store's popularity, the atmosphere remained relaxed, allowing for a pleasant shopping experience without feeling overcrowded. Whether you're a dedicated Pokémon collector or a casual fan, the Pokémon Center Kyoto offers a unique and memorable experience. The blend of cultural charm and Pokémon magic makes it a must-visit destination in Kyoto.

A must visit for any Pokémon fan looking for some merch - they have all of the toys, plushes, apparel, and even decor. You just go up the escalator, turn left and you will see the store and entrance right around the corner.

Google
This Pokemon Center was lovely! A huge selection of everything pokemon, Plushies, Figures, Cards, Games, Food, and a lot more pokemon themed items! Prices were okay. Staff were helpful in finding certain plushies, because there are plushies EVERYWHERE. There are also some awesome statues of Pikachu in traditional attire, as well as a signed statue of Ho-oh! Be careful not to spend too much money here

Yelp
This Pokémon center was my fiancé and my absolute favorite one we visited during our Japan trip! I loved all the cute Pokémon plushies and gifts you can buy here, and because of their wide selection we spent more time than we thought we would here. There were some games on one side of the store to get you back into the nostalgia of battling with different Pokémon, and overall service here was super friendly and hospitable. I wound up getting more than I anticipated because they sold everything from plushies to various kinds of candy, stickers, etc. all with your favorite Pokémon characters. It is definitely a tourist-y kind of place so expect things to be a bit inflated in price, but overall it was a great experience and we were able to buy some fun things to take back home for friends & ourselves who all grew up with Pokémon.

Yelp
I have been to 5 different locations, and I must say - this is my favorite Pokemon Center! They have the best variety and the cooler statues. How can I say no to kimono pikachus? Ho-Oh giving Pikachu a ride is just too cute! And a massive Lugia? So awesome. However - this location definitely had the longest line! I waited about 20-30 minutes in line and it was on a less busy weekday. Staff here are very foreigner-friendly and speak minimal English. Overall, I had a great experience here and this location was easy to find. 2F of Suina Muromachi OUTSIDE.

Yelp
Pro: lot of pokemon related item, nice staff, clean interior, close to train station, food mall on lower floors. Con: none. I been to the pokemon center mega Tokyo and it was super crowded there so compare to this location it had a more chill atmosphere with less of a crowd. Some corners had plushes, some had cookies and stickers, and another had capsules + a game area to play Pokémon. I already had all my souvenirs bought already at the Pokemon center mega Tokyo so it was nice to just walk around and explore. All in all, I would highly recommend anyone who is a tourist, Pokemon fan, or even a casual to come in and experience the magic of Pokemon xD.

Yelp
This location isn't too far from one of their subway stops and is located on the second floor of what looks like a shopping building or a hotel. This center has Kyoto exclusives, the most noted is their Pikachu dressed in a kimono. I ended up not getting it because it wouldn't stand on its own (it kept falling forward). The store seemed a little small to me at first, but the more I wandered, the more I realized how many things were packed into this area. Here you can find plushies, dishware, cookies in these really cute tins, gachapon, I think there was an area where you could play Pokemon games, trading cards, baby items, keychains, jewelry, etc. I'm not a huge fan of the next gen Pokemon (I played Red, Yellow and Silver, and watched it on Saturday morning up until Ash won the Orange Island League) so I didn't see many plushies I wanted to buy. Also, their selection of cookies and treats were pretty small in comparison to the one in Yokohama. However, each cookie tin I bought was scrumptious lol. I don't really look at what I'm getting - I just pick one with the tin decor I like most. And I always get something good! Nonetheless, I highly recommend any Pokemon fan to visit! It's worth it!

Yelp
This is a must see if in Japan. This is your go to for all purchases Pokémon. Lucky enough to see the ones in Tokyo, this one did not disappoint. They have more merchandise than you can possibly imagine. There is also a separate section if you are a gamer and into playing. I loved the variety of stuffed animals they had. Prices are average. Staff is friendly. However, the place can get so jam packed you may find it difficult move around. Overall, I bought my one stuffed jiggly puff. My niece bought a few things and we were out. Overall, cool place to check out if in Japan.

Yelp
For those who know me, a Japan trip isn't complete without Pokemon! This Pokemon Center has Kyoto exclusive items such as the traditional wedding kimono Pikachu's! Other Pokemon Centers in other cities also have region exclusives too! Hubby and I splurge on them as this is our honeymoon and this would be a nice souvenir for us. Staff members are very friendly and are truly fellow Pokemon lovers. This was such a cute and dangerous place that I spent enough on souvenirs for myself and for family and friends!
