I wanted to give this hotel a good review, but can't given how poor of a time we had there. PROS: - The guy at the front desk was fantastic and we really liked him. He was friendly and very helpful. - There's free tea and coffee in the lobby - Location was nice, being walking distance to a lot of stuff and easy metro access CONS: - The room is EXTREMELY hot. The hotel is in winter mode, meaning the central system only blows hot air even if you switch it to cold. They said they have fans, but they never had any available for the 4 nights we were there. - You can't sleep with the window open because the road noise is VERY loud. I'm accustomed to big city noise, but there's a constant barrage of motorcycles, trucks, people hanging out chatting, and every possible noise you can imagine. - They put us right by the elevator and supply closet, and the staff was resupplying the hotel till like 1am. This means boxes crashing right in front of the door, the elevator alarm going off from holding the door open, and the doors are paper thin. Basically, between the heat, road noise, hallways noise, and just overall poor experience, I have to give 1 star.

I booked the hotel after searching for the best prices in the Barcelona area. Pol&Grace had amazing reviews and pictures, and it was located in such a perfect spot that it didn't take us long to choose it!||We arrived in the morning, way before check in time, but they accomodated the best they could. Although our room wasnt ready, we were able to enjoy their free tea/coffee/water stations, their comfy couches, and nice desk space, as well as their outdoor terrace!||We were able to come into our room at around 1 PM. We got a room on the 5th floor, with a large window facing the street. The room itself was kind of small, it lacked a large mirror, it had a small table and only one chair, and two beds to form a king sized bed. The closet space was also very small, and if we had the window open, we couldnt really open one of the closet doors. The pillows are long and very soft, not very comfortable, the mattress was average, but the beds were... squeaky? It was also a connection room, so it had a door connecting the next bedroom, and the room was not sound proof. We could hear a lot of what was going on in the next bedroom, the hallway and the street noise.||The staff was incredible. Very attentive, helpful, and easy to talk to. Check out was super simple and hassle-free.||The breakfast is 15 EUR a person and very good.||And again, THE LOCATION. Train stations and many buses nearby, plenty places to eat as well as supermarkets, hair and nail salons, laundromat, pharmacies, etc. Everything you need to stay long or short term!||Definitely recommended!

Great hotel in great location, the room was clean & comfy we had the luxury of a king size bed which was so comfortable and we never had a problem with noise and slept really well. The metro for Barcelona is just 2 minutes walk away & gets you there in 10minutes the other metro which is about a 15minute walk will get you to & from the airport with one change over with a combined ticket at €5.95 & we found it to be well sign posted. We didn't have the breakfast there but there are plenty of cafes around selling lovely pastries & and coffee and all very reasonably priced. All in all a great 3 night stay 🙂

I recently stayed at Pol&Grace Hotel for 9 days, and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was super, way above expectation, and very helpful. The overall experience was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, and I'll totally go back!

Stayed here in January and rebooked again for this week, as I loved the price and location. The hotel most definitely isn’t 4 star and the rooms are looking very tired and dated, even more so since my stay in January! ||Holes in the duvet cover, broken soap dispensers and lots of hair in the bath from the previous guest. There is also no mirrors in the bedroom, so getting ready can be a challenge if someone else is using the bathroom! ||The blackout blind is great and the bed and pillows are comfortable. ||The air con in our room didn’t work and only the “heating” mode worked. Our room was very hot and stuffy. ||Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again.

I sincerely do not understand why this hotel has 4 stars. It absolutely does not correspond to this rating by any criteria. There was mold on the tiles in the bathroom, the furniture was worn out, there is no soundproofing at all. Everything in the room shakes when someone slams the door from outside. I give 2 stars only because of the staff. Very friendly and caring.

In September had the pleasure of staying at Pol & Grace Hotel in Barcelona and it was truly exceptional. 🏨 The staff went above and beyond to ensure my family and I had a pleasant stay, the room was immaculate and comfortable, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience in Barcelona.

Yelp
We stayed 4 nights here and enjoyed it so much! Breakfast is bomb, decoration is bomb, staff is bomb, everything about it was so great I would not stay anywhere else than here! Staff makes you feel at home from the moment you step in, when we asked for shopping areas recommendations one morning we got a little hand written card addressed to us in our room "Dear Gaelle and Marc, Enjoy your shopping day!" Very sweet attention. I really hope to come back sooner or later. Thank you and keep it up

Yelp
My GF and I just returned from a 12 night adventure to Paris, Milan and Barcelona. I can honestly say that staying at Pol & Grace was one of the highlights of the entire trip. I truly can't say enough good things about our experience staying there. Being a hotel, architecture, interior design, food and customer service snob with lofty expectations this is saying a great deal. Note, my GF is a high-end fashion designer and she was just as happy. The interior design and decor of the Pol & Grace is perfection from the rooms and lobby down to the breakfast area in the lower level. If you're into contemporary design like we are you'll appreciate this hotel even more. Their interior designer just gets it. As to the employees, they made the stay even more enjoyable. Each and every person that we came in contact with was professional, friendly and enthusiastic. I really wish I got their names so I could give them the recognition they deserve. If the owners read this feedback, nice job in hiring great caring people. As to the food served for breakfast, the whole dining experience exceeded our expectations. Although it was set up buffet-style we always felt like we were eating high-quality and fresh food at a seriously good restaurant. Definitely not your run of the mill hotel breakfast! As to the location, not perfect but not bad either. If you're on a tighter budget the hotel is just a block from the metro and then a quick 10 minute ride to the center of the city. The metro is great by U.S. standards! Clean, safe, efficient and up to date. However, we typically used a taxi to get around as they are by (Paris and Milan standards) a relatively good value, especially if you're tired after shopping and siteseeing or just short of time. To summarize, we both highly recommend Pol & Grace! Scott

Yelp
We stayed 3 nights in July 2016. The hotel itself was very trendy; the lobby and dining area was very beautiful and rooms were equally nice. However, bathrooms were extremely small and decor isn't as nice. It is important to know that this hotel does not offer typical amenities like a spa or gym. It wasn't a problem for us since we weren't really looking for those amenities. Just a FYI to you or anyone else reading this review. Its location isn't very central to many of the tourist areas. You would have to take the metro, taxi, or walk (for a very long time) to get to these locations. They do offer breakfast in the AM. Most food items were pretty tasty! The customer service was consistently great through the duration of our stay. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. We arrived late in the evening but there was staff readily available to help us. Initially, we were placed in a room on the first floor by a side street. It was slightly problematic due to noise from cars passing by at all hours of the evening. There was also construction in the neighboring building that contributed to early-morning noise. A lot of people smoke in Spain so when someone walked by our window with a lit cigarette, we could smell the fumes. The room itself also had strange stains on the toilet seat and furniture. It wasn't something that could be removed by a washcloth but rather the item itself was stained. We brought up these issues to the front staff, and they notified us the hotel was booked but was able to make adjustments and moved us to another room on the 4th floor. We had a tour booked for that day so once the room was cleaned, the hotel staff moved our belongings into the new room while we were gone. Their customer service is top notch. Things that could be improved upon- the cleanliness is mediocre, although I am slightly biased by my OCD tendencies for cleanliness. Certain parts of the rooms/tops of furniture had dust. I also found several random stray hairs from prior occupants in multiple locations of our room including our towels, bathroom countertop. Other cleanliness items were mentioned in the above paragraph. Additionally, the bathroom is extremely small. There is very little walking space and if you are your travel buddy (ies) are trying to get ready all at once, it'll be a problem. Lastly, our second room was much improved upon the first one. No obvious stains and much quieter. Their AC can be turned on to low, medium, or high. However, the AC worked only at a low level. Initially, I couldn't tell if the AC was on. I called the front desk, and again, they were extremely helpful. They sent someone up to exam the problem, and I was told the other settings were not working. It kept us sufficiently cooled, but nevertheless, there are certain expectations for things to work properly that come with a hotel, let alone a 4-star hotel. So to sum up the stay, it's a great price. Customer service is fantastic. This hotel fulfills its purpose and if none of the issues I mentioned above matter to you, it'll be a great place for you to stay!

Yelp
This small hotel was delightful. Highly recommend! Staff was super helpful. Rooms were bright and clean. Great quiet residential neighborhood. Will come back.

Yelp
We found this hotel through TripAdvisor and got a really great deal on the room. It's a couple of metro stops away from the main touristy areas, but that's OK. When we checked in, we were told that were given an upgrade right away! The first night was a little rough because although they have an air conditioning system, it's not really turned on and ready to go until the warmer summer months. Our stay was in the middle of March, so the temps are hit or miss around this time of the year, anyway. So, we told the staff it was a bit hot overnight the next day, AND THEY WENT OUT AND BOUGHT US A FAN!!!!! Talk about excellent service! The second night, we had the best sleep of our entire 2+ week around Europe because of the new fan we had in our room! So, if not for the first night, we'd be giving them the highest rating possible, but the first night was a bit rough with the hot room. But, great customer service! We'd recommend this hotel.
