I really enjoyed my stay at Pol and Grace Hotel. It was first visit to Barcelona and I was not disappointed. What an amazing city and region. I was a solo traveller and felt very safe and comfortable at the hotel. I liked to sit in the large windows in my room and watch the busy days in the street below unfold with a coffee, and at the end of the day to see the evening activity with a Rooibos tea. I could have stayed forever!

Very pleasurable stay. Easy to find and very close to metro stations. |5 minute walk to a few squares with bars and restaurants. |Easy to check in with the happy chatty staff who spoke excellent English. |Room was very clean and shower powerful |Good nights sleep with not a trace of noise on the second floor easily accessible by lift or stairs. |Free tee and coffee at the self service in the lobby with crisp beer wine and snacks operated on an honesty basis. |Would definitely stay again if returning to Barcelona

I stayed there in a triple room with my family. It was a enjoyable experience . The staff are very lovely and helpful . The hotel has a artsy and modern atmosphere. It was so close to bus stops and metro station. Though I would recommend you walk towards diagonal street or passege de gracia which are about 20-minute walk. We even walked 40 minutes to Sagrada familia and enjoyed the views. It was such a convenience that they provide tea and coffee in the lobby 24/7. Also their front desk is open 24/7 and that’s very reassuring. Though their room is little bit small and it was hard to open big baggages but everything was great and I recommend this hotel definitely.👌

Google
Hotel has a great location and the staff is friendly. Looking at the pictures on the website I thought it would be a solid choice but in real life the room and bathroom were very damaged, mouldy and old. Smell in the room was very odd. I'm fairly dissatisfied knowing this was supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Something has to change and they have to honestly review their own standards and marketing their hotel for what it is. All the features that are supposed to be available in the room like slippers, cattle, iron or others, have to be ordered at the reception on via telephone.

Google
Service was great and staff were very friendly, but this is not a 4 star hotel. The room is very run down and smelly. The toilet flush kept going off all the time every 5-10 minutes and a strong sewage smell coming out of it. The room doesn’t even have conditioner, toilet doesn’t have a brush, no slippers, no robes. For close to €150 per night, definitely not worth it.

Google
I have no idea who and how they award hotel stars, but this hotel is far from the 4 stars it displays!! A 4-star hotel that not only doesn't have a swimming pool, but doesn't even HAVE it's own restaurant!! And in the (small) space reserved (in the basement) for breakfast, a sufficient breakfast was served, perhaps not enough though for a 4-stars and at a cost of 15 euros per person, when, at the multiple cafes and bakeries in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, three people can eat very well and fresh for 15-20 euros! I booked a room with three beds that was extremely small (especially for a 4-star hotel!!!), the bathroom was full of mold on the exterior glass brick and on the tiles in the shower, the furniture was old, smelly, few and damaged. The hallways between the cramped rooms were not clean enough, and the carpeting leaves a lot to be desired. The TV in the room is an old model, and although it has an Android TV, we couldn't even watch TV channels because it wouldn't connect to the internet, and we couldn't do any mirroring with our phone. The good points are, without a doubt, the staff at the "reception", warm and very helpful; the hotel area is quiet (ideal for us), close to transportation and decently close to the center, the multiple cafes and bakeries in the area, and probably the price of the room is quite ok (although with the stars given for nothing, maybe not necessarily...) And the lobby area is a nice touch, with space to sit and chat and cofee and tea free all day around.

It was my second stay at Pol and Grace. The first time was in 2017 and it was very new then. Obviously it is a little more tired looking now. But, the experience was as good as last time. Location is excellent… for the metro and plenty of amazing places to eat in the area. I would definitely stay here again and the terrace was as wonderful as it was in 2017. The hotel is a quiet and serene place and after a day walking the streets of Barcelona a very welcome retreat.

Google
Very good and affordable hotel in Barcelona. Directly next to the metro with great connections to all of the city. The staff were amazing and super helpful. The breakfast selection was slightly below average. The rooms were a bit small and outdated. You can tell there are signs of wear and tear across the entire hotel. Overall, I would recommend to stay in this hotel. I wish it was slightly cheaper for what they offer.

Yelp
We stayed 4 nights here and enjoyed it so much! Breakfast is bomb, decoration is bomb, staff is bomb, everything about it was so great I would not stay anywhere else than here! Staff makes you feel at home from the moment you step in, when we asked for shopping areas recommendations one morning we got a little hand written card addressed to us in our room "Dear Gaelle and Marc, Enjoy your shopping day!" Very sweet attention. I really hope to come back sooner or later. Thank you and keep it up

Yelp
My GF and I just returned from a 12 night adventure to Paris, Milan and Barcelona. I can honestly say that staying at Pol & Grace was one of the highlights of the entire trip. I truly can't say enough good things about our experience staying there. Being a hotel, architecture, interior design, food and customer service snob with lofty expectations this is saying a great deal. Note, my GF is a high-end fashion designer and she was just as happy. The interior design and decor of the Pol & Grace is perfection from the rooms and lobby down to the breakfast area in the lower level. If you're into contemporary design like we are you'll appreciate this hotel even more. Their interior designer just gets it. As to the employees, they made the stay even more enjoyable. Each and every person that we came in contact with was professional, friendly and enthusiastic. I really wish I got their names so I could give them the recognition they deserve. If the owners read this feedback, nice job in hiring great caring people. As to the food served for breakfast, the whole dining experience exceeded our expectations. Although it was set up buffet-style we always felt like we were eating high-quality and fresh food at a seriously good restaurant. Definitely not your run of the mill hotel breakfast! As to the location, not perfect but not bad either. If you're on a tighter budget the hotel is just a block from the metro and then a quick 10 minute ride to the center of the city. The metro is great by U.S. standards! Clean, safe, efficient and up to date. However, we typically used a taxi to get around as they are by (Paris and Milan standards) a relatively good value, especially if you're tired after shopping and siteseeing or just short of time. To summarize, we both highly recommend Pol & Grace! Scott

Yelp
We stayed 3 nights in July 2016. The hotel itself was very trendy; the lobby and dining area was very beautiful and rooms were equally nice. However, bathrooms were extremely small and decor isn't as nice. It is important to know that this hotel does not offer typical amenities like a spa or gym. It wasn't a problem for us since we weren't really looking for those amenities. Just a FYI to you or anyone else reading this review. Its location isn't very central to many of the tourist areas. You would have to take the metro, taxi, or walk (for a very long time) to get to these locations. They do offer breakfast in the AM. Most food items were pretty tasty! The customer service was consistently great through the duration of our stay. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. We arrived late in the evening but there was staff readily available to help us. Initially, we were placed in a room on the first floor by a side street. It was slightly problematic due to noise from cars passing by at all hours of the evening. There was also construction in the neighboring building that contributed to early-morning noise. A lot of people smoke in Spain so when someone walked by our window with a lit cigarette, we could smell the fumes. The room itself also had strange stains on the toilet seat and furniture. It wasn't something that could be removed by a washcloth but rather the item itself was stained. We brought up these issues to the front staff, and they notified us the hotel was booked but was able to make adjustments and moved us to another room on the 4th floor. We had a tour booked for that day so once the room was cleaned, the hotel staff moved our belongings into the new room while we were gone. Their customer service is top notch. Things that could be improved upon- the cleanliness is mediocre, although I am slightly biased by my OCD tendencies for cleanliness. Certain parts of the rooms/tops of furniture had dust. I also found several random stray hairs from prior occupants in multiple locations of our room including our towels, bathroom countertop. Other cleanliness items were mentioned in the above paragraph. Additionally, the bathroom is extremely small. There is very little walking space and if you are your travel buddy (ies) are trying to get ready all at once, it'll be a problem. Lastly, our second room was much improved upon the first one. No obvious stains and much quieter. Their AC can be turned on to low, medium, or high. However, the AC worked only at a low level. Initially, I couldn't tell if the AC was on. I called the front desk, and again, they were extremely helpful. They sent someone up to exam the problem, and I was told the other settings were not working. It kept us sufficiently cooled, but nevertheless, there are certain expectations for things to work properly that come with a hotel, let alone a 4-star hotel. So to sum up the stay, it's a great price. Customer service is fantastic. This hotel fulfills its purpose and if none of the issues I mentioned above matter to you, it'll be a great place for you to stay!

Yelp
This small hotel was delightful. Highly recommend! Staff was super helpful. Rooms were bright and clean. Great quiet residential neighborhood. Will come back.

Yelp
We found this hotel through TripAdvisor and got a really great deal on the room. It's a couple of metro stops away from the main touristy areas, but that's OK. When we checked in, we were told that were given an upgrade right away! The first night was a little rough because although they have an air conditioning system, it's not really turned on and ready to go until the warmer summer months. Our stay was in the middle of March, so the temps are hit or miss around this time of the year, anyway. So, we told the staff it was a bit hot overnight the next day, AND THEY WENT OUT AND BOUGHT US A FAN!!!!! Talk about excellent service! The second night, we had the best sleep of our entire 2+ week around Europe because of the new fan we had in our room! So, if not for the first night, we'd be giving them the highest rating possible, but the first night was a bit rough with the hot room. But, great customer service! We'd recommend this hotel.
